Steve did a outstanding job. You cant get a job, especially for a one man show.I have a supplemental warranty through Caltex, I had some rust repair on the inside of the trunk lid. Outstanding color match. my warranty includes tree sap and bug removal, Steve also buffed the entire car. Not a single swirl can be found. Steve delivered my car on the quoted day. World class job.

My friend told me about this place when his mustang got dinged up & he absolutely put me in the right direction. Not too long ago one of my co-workers backed into my car leaving a dent worth roughly $1,000. My car being a Mercedes, I can understand why. Steve gave me an estimate within minutes of showing up & was on my way. Even though it took a while to get my co-worker to cough up the grand, Steve was patient the whole way through. Very friendly, professional, honest, and wont take advantage of you if youre not very car-smart. that being said he turned a 5 day job into a 3, finishing 2 hours early getting everything done nice and dandy. Not to mention how my car (since the salt on the road, etc) was fairly dirty and unkempt on the exterior, he even cleaned it and it looks really nice and clean! Also nothing was taken from my car, my seats werent adjusted. As simple as it gets. An honest business & honest service. The location is somewhat odd if you arent familiar with downtown DeKalb, but that being said, the gps takes you directly to the garage itself. I am very thankful to my friend who recommended me this place and happy to recommend to others.

I would rate this with 4.5 stars instead of 4 but there wasnt an option for partial stars. Bob was quick, accommodating, and pleasant in interaction. Im not quite sure how competitive his price was in comparison to the market, but I have a feeling it was pretty fair. Lastly, the only reason why I docked it by a .5-1 star is because I felt like his post-work cleanup could have been a tiny bit better. With that said, this is a good place and Id recommend it to others.

I couldn’ be any happier with my experience at Bob Schmidt’s Body Shop! The bodywork work is perfect and the final cost was less than the original estimate. Driving home in a freshly washed car was an added bonus! If you’re looking for an honest - professional body shop to work on your car - this is the shop for you.

Took a very long time. One man operation. Couldnt match paint color. And is only a body shop man. Fails to identify mechanical problems. Did do good body work though. Takes way too long to make repairs.

Excellent body shop! Takes really good care of your vehicle, no matter the damage. Deer damaged my rear bumper and Bob Schmidt made it look brand new like off the factory floor! Honest business and honest service. Cant be beat.
