Staples is a wonderful place to shop the supervisors and the managers and the cashiers are nice they are willing to help in any way that they can please visit Staples or anything that you need like office supplies and other things or you can go to Staples online

Recently had a not so good experience at Staples in Dearborn regarding an order for business cards. Received a survey via email and thought, yes this is my opportunity to let them know because if we remain silent, how would they ever know? The store manager contacted me and offered not only an apology, but a refund and a redo of my business cards. Now that is what I call great customer service. Let’s me know they really did value my opinion and cared about me as a customer. Much appreciated!

Pros: good lighting. Great selection of basic office supplies.Cons: ink & toner prices/in-store selection are insulting. Customer service does not exist at this location.

I travel often for work - around the State of Michigan. It is important to me to have a dedicated staples nearby that I can know and trust, rather than just stopping into the closest Staples in the city i’m at for the day. This store is my preferred location, with great staff, fantastic product selections and quick copy and print services with stellar quality.Picture: 11x17 copy ledger paper, black ink only. Quality was perfect. Lamination services are available but with an office laminator that fits 11x17 I opted out of Staples offering.

Good place to go took wife there to find a office chair and now she just has to make up her mind. Clean and friendly

Worst experience ever in the print department the lady working there is complete useless.

The selection is always plentiful, I continue to shop here however because of the welcoming customer service. Its employees like Toya that makes my shopping experience more enjoyable.

I always go here to get art supplies/stationary and sometimes they send out $10 off a $10 purchase or more and I only end up spending $1 Also, Pro Tip,They sell A M A Z I N G fine tip markers!! They also have really cute back-to-school notebooks! Hope I helped.

Im not sure if philicia (sp) works in the photo department or not but she was very friendly, knowledgeable, and kind. She went above and beyond to assist me. The Dearborn store is my new place to shop. Thank you Phlecia, I wish every employee was like you. (& No Im not friends with her or related). Shes just that good at her job!

Placed an online order and picked it up from this location and the process was quick and smooth.

Staples on Michigan/Telegraph deliver Awesome Service. They have some Awesome Sales/Marketing Representatives there to help you in no time!!! One particular Sales/Marketing Representative by the name of Robb not only help me in a most helpful way, but finished my job within the set time given. He was also most gracious and kind!!! Thanks again Robb!!!

The sales representative couldn’t understand simple measurements, and she waiting 45 mins to tell me she didn’t know how to print on transparency paper. I have never left a bad review in my life or even to care to do many but they are slow and unequipped to do simple task.

If you want quality products and Great customer service, this is your store! My co-workers and I came to this Staples and was greeted by Robb. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable of where everything in the store was. He was also helpful with ordering personal stamp pads. His positive personality and bright smile will ensure another visit to this location. Thanks Robb!!!

I went to this store to purchase some new supplies. I had a nice sales experience but there was an item that had the wrong price. I went back and got the refund and bought one more item. It had the wrong price. This time I got a manager and explained the situation. She was very nice and refunded me the difference. I bought 10 more items but this time I checked the price each time she scanned it. 6 of the items had the wrong price. If I had not checked it would have been another trip into the store. While the staff was nice I will not be going back to this store. I feel its too much trouble to be that diligent for office supplies. It isnt brain surgery. The person handling pricing and changes should be fired. Ill give them a star because the staff was nice and handled the problems professionally.

Lloyd and Katie were very helpful. Lloyd was very accommodating and considerate. Katie was complimentary and gave me all the coupons that were appropriate to help reduce my charge. Mohammed is helpful and kind every time I go to this Staples. Actually all the entire staff is very helpful. I highly recommend this Staples. :)

Staff was very patient and gave great service...the manager reminded me why i stopped going to Staples a few years back...there were two teachers and another school employee and myself taking advantage of the special on the notebooks...i had been abvised manager can do an override for quantity in such instances...not this manager...he literally wanted you to go out of the store and come back in to obtain more...i will be seeking out the River Rouge school teacher to make sure she has adequate supplies for her pupils AND lodging a formal compliant...if you were going to allow the purchases why be a *** about it.

I have had invitations printed here many times and never had an issue. Until just now when I tried to get my daughters birthday invitations printed. I paid for the digital invitation design and was told by Staples that I cant have them printed due to copyright issues and unless I get a letter from the movie company stating I can use their characters then they cant do it. I had Minnie Mouse invitations printed last year and didnt need a letter from Disney. Looks like Im finding a new company for my printing needs.

Original Review: Ill-equipped store with the worst management !! Never go there...I agree that there are not many Staples store in Detroit area but this should be the last place where you want to take your business.Follow up (8/1/2013): Things have significantly improved since my last visit and compelled me to edit my original review. It is a much better store now. Both management and overall inventory set up has improved a lot

Just wish they would get the little things right... corporate thinks they are open 8a to 9p and an office supply store opening at 9am is a joke... Anyone who cares about business knows 9am is half a wasted day already. At least 7am and 80% of their clients could pick up necessary items on their way in to their real work that starts no later than 8am SMH it is these kind of little things that keep them from a 5 star...

Wow is all I can say about the service I received from Moe and Grady! These two guys went above and beyond to help me with my business cards. These two young gentleman were a sheer delight, hands down some of the BEST customer service I have ever received. The manager Bill even helped with my paper selection. YOU GUYS ROCK!!!

Great customer service. I am visiting MI for a funeral and needed a few photos copies in the middle of the viewings. The young lady paused her current print job and helped me with the copies. Was in and out in a matter of minutes. Thank you!

Customer service sucked. You work with computers but cant allow me to print a resume . Instead charge me per minute due to how long Im taking. Then explain to me why me being a black woman you couldnt help me . Just go to self serve printing, I dont know what else to tell you . So I will NEVER RETURN to that inconsiderate location for anything else. A horrible experience today.

UPS staff were very slow at helping me print out a shipping label. I was charged 3 times before my label actually printed. Staff needs to be re-trained

Self-service print stations apparently only can do PDF files so the attendant took my flash drive behind the desk to the print center and pulled up my PDF no problem and asked how many copies I needed and the manager interrupts him and tells me he cant do it until 7pm (its noon) because theres a queue he refuses to jump in simply hitting control + P. Was a single page, 20 copies. Would have literally taken less than a minute, dude just wanted to be a jerk. Avoid.

Worse esperience ever..... Went there for tech work and they used to have a tech there that really knew his stuff.... Now they have clowns that know less than a rock. Mo is supposedly the leader of these rocks. Where did they find him a cracker jack box?

David is the star of this store. He handled my complicated transaction which involved price match, coupon, reward cert and gift card like a piece of cake, and he rang me up flawlessly. My shopping experience has never been better. Brian also helped me a lot to look for an item even he called another store for me. Dont need to go to another Staples in the area. The one in Dearborn is the one to go. A++ service.

The behavior of one manager there is not professional at all. I called in store before I took the trip to get a clearance laptop. He said yes we have it instock. After I got there, found out the laptop was bought by himself due to a super low price. He acted like an aXXHXX to let me go.
