This location is definitely a last resort. Allen park/Livonia locations are much better. Was just in line on the lumber side, 4 registers only 2 associates working. Line was down the lumber the aisle. The weird thing is right next to the registers is the pro desk which had 9 associates at it and no customers. You would think they would send 2 people over to work the other registers to get the line down. But that would require critical thinking and leadership.

One of the messiest, cluttered locations I have been to. Every isle we went down had a walking hazard . What we had ordered for pick up was out of stock and we were not notified that it was not, after the order was placed and stated it would be would be contacted within two hours to pick up at this location. We did not seek this location to purchase said item. We went with this location because it was the only site that stated it had this item available. When asking customer service why this would happen, we were advised that is not her department and not her problem. Between the look of the store and the unprofessionalism of the staff I am turned off by my experience here. Was advised my refund of my product would also take 3 to 5 business days. When we walked in the security guard on on a personal call for 20 minutes while we stood in line waiting for a customer service representative to assist us.We normally do our best to not leave a disastifying review. But after what we witnessed we will do our best to not be patrons of this location.

This place is terrible, absolutely uslessI was suppose to receive a Deleivery last Wednesday, it didn’t make itI receive a message stating Deleivery rescheduled to Thursday,Next day I received another message about the the delivery is rescheduled to Friday, than Saturday than Monday.Even though I bought the stuff and put them in the cart and paid for them, all I asked for to Deliver them.I went back there and canceled the delivery and bought the stuff again and used my truck.The place is horrible and terribleI will not step a foot there ever

And absurdly awful shopping experience.Never in my life have I seen a worse Home Depot store, or rather a worse example of any store in this class. The shelves are a mess, with items indicated as being available online not being anywhere in the area they should be, nor are there boxes with those items overhead where they should be. The checkout line was quite literally from one side to the other of the store, while all the self checkouts were closed, and three actual cashiers were working, well several employees were standing around the lineup in order to direct traffic. The staff look at you like youre not speaking English and as if they are shocked that youre asking them a question. This store needs to just close down until it can be reopened in a functional condition.

Much better than the Lowes I went to yesterday. Website said over 30 pipe wrenches I wanted were in stock. Good part is friendly employee looked for one but bad news they actually didnt have it. They had valve & fittings I needed plus an acceptable different wrench.

Worst Home Depot on the planet. The staff is very rude does not know anyting cannot show you where anything is will scream and speak rudely to you. I live in the area for about 20 years I used to come here when it was called Builders Square. I cannot believe the lady at the register screaming at the people. Then she screamed at me to get in line when I was just social distancing from the lady coughing in front of me. Its a shame that the staff here is of the lowest quality. Today was the last day I can no longer visit this Dearborn location I will be going to Allen Park Home Depot or Lowes or other locations but to me I consider this one closed permanently. Shame on the staff shame shame shame I have never been treated ruder.

This feedback is directed specifically at the Ford Rd @ Southfield Rd . You need real store management and some real supervisors.Sent me adult son to pick up four orders. There were several items cancelled that they are refunding. That’s fine but when I checked the orders against the receipt additional items that I paid for were not packaged with my order (there were many small bags). He would not have missed carrying my two gallons of germicidal bleach.To top things off they didn’t have one of my orders ready when promised; they were a day late and I had to call them to get it ready the next day.Last words — I’m going to catch an Uber to the store tomorrow. WHY?!!?? Because when I tried to call them for refunds on stuff they did not send but charged for I was on HOLD for over 40 min. TWICE TODAY!!!!!No customer deserves to be treated like that.Rest of my remod $$$$$ will be spent at Lowes to be sure. Home Depot was nearest and where I have shopped for the last 15 ish years. I am sad.

When you place an order for a dishwasher on 5/15 and they tell you the item will be delivered on 5/28 and you check on 6/14 and discover that the order date has been moved to 7/1 AND your address is wrong AND only two employees in the whole store can fix that address AND the Home Depot call center cant fix it either AND BOTH EMPLOYEES ARE ON VACATION so NO ONE can help and youre hand washing dishes for a family of eight. To put it mildly, not impressed. No one at the store seems even remotely interested in how this might be impacting us and there seems no help. So, no, I would NOT recommend this store.

I went there in the lady by the paint was very helpful. Then i got propane. I paid for it and one of the workers said they had to get the key from the female manager and never came back. So than went in the store and several employees told the manager i was the one that needed the key and she keep telling everyone i had to wait a minute. 25 minutes later she came to me finally and told me an employee had the key and went. Smh, 10.15 at night and i have my daughters birthday tomorrow and i had to go find propane. Thankfully i got it from a gas station. I just wish she would have told me sooner. The bigger problem was time and the manager said i had to get a refund. Had me go to an employee and she said she can do a refund. Like she could have apologize and did it herself fr... Other than that i give props to the older lady in the paint section cuz she helped me with paint, table and tarps. 6-10-2021

Disorganized is the Staff. Working without knowledge of how the company operates.Online ordering never saves time, but creates more time spent in store. Repeatedly. And is more costly at times.Itll be hard to even find a cart to use.If you like attitudes, stop by the service desk.

Does not answer phoneI placed a large order with them, and they sent an email receipt with the instructions Please do not reply to this email. If you have any questions regarding the information contained in this email, please call the contact number provided for assistance.So, I called the contact number to try to get information, and called, and called, and called for a week with no answer. Finally, I stayed on the line for over three hours on a Monday. When someone finally picked up they told me Id just missed the person I should talk to by a few minutes, and could I call back the next day. It was maddening!At that point Id had enough and just canceled the order. The second star is because a manager was able to step in and cancel it without having to call back.

First of all, the garden center is locked up so you have to go thru the main store. No carts in the entrance, so I have to search for one. Found one with empty boxes, so I emptied it out to use. Extremely long line at check out. Go to pay with cash only to be told they are not giving out any change. Terrible for customers.

I mean , not only that they are willing to help with a professional advice , ideas or simply show you where to find what ever you need , but they do so with an amazing commercial smile on their faces makes you feel welcome , and a lot of intellectuality that you would have a good solid concept to get the job done ,... even if you had no clue before you got there .

I think the sign at the Customer Service area is mismarked...it should say “Go Find It Yourself”. Terrible Customer Service..only employee worth anything is Chip; everyone else, especially the Customer Service woman, are worthless. With recent remodeling of our basement. I’ve been in here I feel like a million times. And customer service really needs to step up their game. I’ve had to chase down someone to help me find an item. To avoid that inconvenience I’ve found them online and decided to have them ship to store- thought it’d be easier and more convenient. Which it should be...there are workers walk-in by the area for pick up ignore us waiting and proceed to do whatever they are doing. I asked another customer representative to help me I’ve been waiting more than 15 min. She was at the return area which is right next to the pick up area. She would have access to just grab my item. She told me she would not be able to help me that I would need to continue to wait. I found that experience very dissatisfying. She could’ve easily helped. Another customer waiting asked to speak with a manager which I don’t blame him he was here for 30+ min. This system can be easily fixed. I wanted to voice my concerns. Because this should’ve have been a 30+ minute thing. Should be a 5 minute thing. As I am writing this full essay I still haven’t been helped....soooo. Yeah. I rated 3 stars because there are some are nice.Update: another representative came and helped me . The one in the burgundy shirt and long hair was the rude one...

They never answer their phone you pay for express delivery and because they use a third party logistics company they can’t give you any information other then a 12 hour window. I was given the number to logistics company and they are so rude they just hung up when they told me it was gonna be another two days before they pick up my order to be delivered. So much for express delivery. Home Depot has been worse then any other big box hardware store and only getting worse. Complete waste of building space. Useless completely useless!

Upon my arrival at this Home Depot location (in Dearborn near Southfield freeway) I already had my intentions set on what I came for and to my comfort I found what I needed with ease, or so I thought. I’m an artist and needed some bubble cushion along with clear tape for artworks and found both at an end cap near the paint aisle. When I went to self scan I noticed that the price differed from what was on the end of the aisle and as I checked out I brought notice of this error to the associate that directed people in the self checkout. I proceeded to pay and take care of the matter afterwards. When I returned back to the end cap I seen that the entire section has the same size I just purchased and the pricing is the same across the entire shelf. I then take pictures to show this to customer service and let them know that it is a misdirected sales mark and possibly be reimbursed for the item’s pricing but am informed that there is nothing they can do. I then ask if I can speak to a manager. The manager that I spoke to, Zebrena (apologies if I butcher the name), tells me that there is nothing she can do and that a “customer” may have put all of the items on the wrong area (mind you, I do believe it was the wrong size of the item after further analyzing but was for sure an employee’s/company error of wrongfully shelving). The manager did not ask me how my day was going, apologize for the error on the end cap, nor attempt to find the RIGHT item for me to acquire the price I wanted. I ended up just paying extra money, staying longer than I needed to, and leaving as an unsatisfied customer.

Just an average and barely adequate Home Depot shopping experience. This store is consistently understaffed, and a majority of the staff is ill equipped to offer knowledgeable home improvement related advice. Unless you know exactly what youre looking for and where to find it, dont count on a staff member to offer knowledgeable advice. If possible, travel a few miles south and visit the Allen Park Home Depot. You will find much better staff members there.
