I rely on Hashems.com for my purchases of special Arabic foods, mainly the Baladi raw pine nuts, which are long and very delicious! Those pine nuts at Hashems are the very best! I also buy other kinds of nuts, cheeses, and Moroccan sardines (also the best sardines).I really appreciate the smooth process from buying online to receiving my orders. Great experience most of the time especially with Steaks, Malseh, and Mjarmashi (they are best in town) but then I get old smelly ground meat wrapped in new lovely looking ground meat. See first picture. When asked, butcher says it is fine and that’s what he usually takes to his house.

Ordered baklava online and ma3moul. Tasted absolutely nasty. Ma3moul was tasted pastie, and baklava was very well done on bottom, very dry. Threw all 4 boxes in trash after one taste of each. Never again will I order sweets from here again

I appreciate the cleanliness, especially in the meat section. I love walking in and not smelling the stench of a butcher shop, that usually leaves an odor lingering on your clothes. Market is well setup, everyone is hospitable and kind.

This is the only place in Dearborn where I trust to buy my meat. The meat is always fresh, the store is well organized and clean with friendly checkout staff. I come here monthly to stock up on my steaks, sausages, nuts and turkish sweets. I love the variety of specialty teas and coffee. The price is right for high quality products. My only complaint is that I wish they were in my area and I wish they expand to have more produce. They have two locations, Dearborn and Dearborn Heights.....both I love and get the same high quality in products..

Walked in to grab one quick thing but the guy at the counter introduced himself and asked if I needed help, he gave me a quick tour of where everything was, he even made some suggestions on what else I should buy. His professional friendly service turned my quick in and out one item visit into a great experience and ended up stocking up on meats and groceries for my family. Everything was good. Except the coffee I ordered grind coffee to take with me back to NY. The guy who grinded it did not do a good job. It was suppose to be grinded twice. Please have some one do a QC before you have the goods to your costumers. So mad I though I can drink a good coffee when I got home.

I love it, meat is very affordable and delectable. Also not many places near me that sell fresh cut Halal meats, are open until 10. Kind, courteous and professional as well as having that family friendly atmosphere. For a smaller store they sure have everything Im looking for and for better prices, than the two grocery stores across the street.

Been going here for over 2 years. Refuse to get my meat anywhere else. They have a new location on ford rd closer to beach Daly which I go to now. Love there meat, chicken, and deli. Fresh as it can get.

I always like to share the good and talk about it more than bad negative things, well i cant give less than 5 stars for such a great quality for the meat and chicken or the variety and organising of the products!! But I have no idea the last two times i ordered different things from there, the meat was without salt nor spices which made the meal without taste and with bad smell. But before the last two times almost 20 times everything was perfect! And sure need to mention the great and nicest people over there, feels like home

Taste the nuts before buying it. He has old nuts not as fresh as you want it .he is courteous very welcoming , but pay attention to the total amount of your merchandise.

Ok Ill get straight to the point.1. The butcher there has, by far the best cuts of meat around. Everything is extremely fresh and is always tender and delicious. The meat department also uses spices from Hashems Roastery which is perfect because Im a huge fan of there products.2. Fresh roasted nuts and seeds of all kinds, cashews, almonds, peanuts, pumpkin seeds and my favorite, mixed nuts of all kinds. Way to many types to list just trust me and dive right in.3. Spices, spices and more spices! There is an entire wall of different types of spices from all over the world. They have whole and ground spices bulk, which I love because I save a lot of money vs buying the small bottles from the grocery store. They also have a lot of mixed spices for ribs, Italian cooking, steaks, chicken spice and lots of middle eastern mixed spices that they all blend in house.4. Im a coffee fanatic, Hashems carries a huge line of fresh roasted bulk coffees, everything from Turkish coffee to Hawaiian kona. They even have decaf Turkish and organic coffees! They grind it on the spot for you or u can take it home and grind it yourself.5. Extremely fresh produce that is delivered daily. When they first opened I wasnt that impressed but the have stepped up their produce game.6. Fine chocolates and sweets imported from all over the world. These are no ordinary chocolates, a little expensive but omg.7. Olive cart! My favorite, mixed blend with cheese and garlic. The also have the pickled pink turnips I get at middle eastern restaurants.8. American, Middle Eastern and international groceries of all kinds. Great selection of products, hard to find stuff.Hashems is my go to place, friendly staff, great atmosphere, very reasonable prices.
