Excellent variety of items to select from, not just only traditionally Mexican, but items and foods from Central and South America as well. A truly outstanding variety of items packed into a smaller store.I was worried that this area wouldnt have the items I wanted, because I am from this area, so I was very nicely surprised to find this great store.

Clean, friendly staff 👌helpful, had what I wanted, they got a cart for me, my son was in a wheelchair and I couldnt leave him to find a cart.when leaving, the delivery man,helped me with my cart & the wheelchair, Thankyou everyone who helped me. This was my first time visiting this branch. Again 😊 .

A super fun Dayton spot located in the Old North Dayton neighborhood. You could spend tons of time walking the isles of unique brands, fresh produce and meat, or grab a delicious bite in the restaurant located inside.Very clean, friendly staff, and lots and lots of products you’d never see in a big box store.This is my neighborhood grocery, but highly recommend it to some one who just wants to visit!

Im still working on my Spanish, but the people who work there seem to understand that I like going to that store & Im friendly. The things I buy there I cant get a better price anywhere. The restaurant is expensive, though, so I cant afford to eat there very often, but the food is excellent & comparable to Las Piramedes (not spelled correctly - apologies!)

I go here twice a month and get a burrito. Its always nice and fat. I give it a four out of five. And most of the time theyre quick and convenient as long as youre not there at dinner time. Every once in awhile they forget my avocado on the side but thats okay.

Love this because its a restaurant and a marketplace with other stuff in it more than you think plus if family Dollars out of stuff which they usually always are over here then yeah just go over here and spend a little more and they have it and theyre really friendly decent people

Neat little neighborhood market with a small restaurant inside. The only grocery in even close to this part of town, they carry all the essentials. Produce is always very fresh, and the baked goods are delicious.

VERY clean and well stocked. Great produce and fresh cut meats. I love the Mexican breads(donuts).

So much to choose from and the restaurant makes authentic food to order. Fresh food for the win!

Love coming here for things I cant find anywhere else. There is an authentic restaurant inside with great food. Go to the butcher to get great deals on meat. They will even marinade it for free.

They have lots of Latin America spices. Delicious empanadas and Tortas.

One of the best Hispanic groceries in town, will continue to shop here.

Real, authentic, delicious food. Its also a market for groceries, too. Theres a restaurant inside as well as a meat counter. Everyone is very friendly. I go for the sweet breads and tamales. Weekends are the best times to go. Thats when they are the busiest but they serve food hot and fresh. Its very affordable, too.

Im from San Diego, this place reminds me of home. I found all of my pan dulces, candy, elotes and snacks, that I missed and loved. They have all of the ingredients needed for authentic mexican food recipes. The restaurant located inside of the grocery store was amazing. The food was delicious and the service was great.

Some of the best authentic Mexican food you can find in Dayton. It has a small little restaurant inside of the grocery store. You know when all of the Mexicans are eating there that its going to be good.

Went for lettuce and ground beef. When I was by the lettuce I slipped on something wet and about fell 😲 I alerted an employee and she thought it was funny, not cool 😡 If I would have gotten hurt in there it would be called La Candace!

(A few months ago) My husband and I went to go buy ingredients for him to make salsa. When we went to the restaurant we weren’t treated as nicely as the other locals were. We didn’t get our chips and salsa at all. Our order took forever. The food was bland (my husband loves authentic Mexican so he would know) I did not feel good at all, I did not feel welcomed. :(

Excellent little store!Every time I need some authentic Mexican ingredients I am sure to find it at this store. I really like the Meat section where I can find good meat at good prices. This is the only place where I have found smoked pork chops, etc. The bakery is authentic Mexican sweet bread, just like the one in Mexico. The people that work there are very nice and polite. The place is not fancy and it could be in a nicer neighborhood, but I dont care as long as I can find what Im looking for every single time I need something special.

The restaurant is one the hidden gems in the area. The portions are sizeable - you can make two full meals out of a single burrito. I also like their good quality meats.

La Michoacana is excellent for your Latin grocery needs. Cheeses, fill service butcher, delicacies like chicharrón, carnitas for self serve. The onsite restaurant features amazing dishes from the Michoacán región and traditional dishes. A must visit and go to for your latin food needs

Very slow service.Restaurant poor service and moody attitude at times.Last year I order tamales and they forgot to place my order even though I paid them in advance, when I am trying to pick them up they just said sorry and ended in argument so I could get my money back. This this year though, I did get tamales, but not what I ordered, I ordered 18 tamales, paid 18 tamales, but got only 12; unfourtunately I knew this until I got home and it was impossible to make a claim, if last year had difficulties to get my money back when there was no tamales, I couldnt imagine the heat if I was trying to get my money back from 6 tamales.I am never going to La Michoacana again; if youre reading this, La Guadalupana has better service, better items, same price.

This review is only about the restaurant: Upon first glance the ambiance and decor is cute. Doesnt even feel like youre in a grocery store. We quickly realized everything was very dirty. Out pants were literally sticking to the benches. Tacos were good and comparable to Taqueria Mixteca. Pretty sure our waitress overcharged us decent amount - at least $5 more and pocketed the difference. Never received an itemized receipt. Seemed pretty sketchy. We will stick to some of the other great Mexican joints nearby.

Go to the butcher. The meat and poultry taste better plus theyll cut it anyway you want it and the prices are great. Best prices also on limes and peppers. They have all kinds of homemade food, plus any ingredient you can think of for soulful, flavorful cooking.

Great food at a reasonable price, Maria/Mary is a fantastic server! The rest of the ladies are also great. Very,very clean standards in restaurant and store. Most of staff is bilingual. Best selection of Tex-Mex and pure Mexicanna in Dayton.

I thought La Raza near the Dayton mall had the best tacos in town, but man does it feel (and taste) good to be proven wrong! The salsa, hot sauces, and meats were on point. Not to mention the kind service and inexpensive price point. I highly recommend venturing out to this supermarket, and I promise you wont be let down!

My favorite little grocery store.They have the best fresh hamburger meat I have had(great marbling for making burgers on the grill).They have a large selection of Hispanic food & drink & good prices & the staff is friendly & helpful.

If you are foreign or just want to get good meat, this place is the place to go. There are mainly Mexican goods sold here and a restaurant if you want to eat prepared food. But if you want great quality meat and different sections you wont find at Wal-Mart (full fish, not prepared already) this is the place to go.

I eat there once every one to two weeks. The food is cheap and excellent. I go grocery shopping when Im done eatting for all kinds of goodies. I highly recommend it!
