Yummy frappes! Love the Buckeye frappe! The Highlander Grogg was great as a frappe and the iced caramel kiss was delicious!! Strawberry smoothie was refreshing. My family loves Winans candy and drinks!

Everything was good except for the slowness. Sat there in drive thru for 15 to 20 mins but the coffee was extraordinary.

Called in advance to order a 2 pound box of chocolate. Got there and it was not started. I understand, it was Saturday and they had quite s line at drive through. Clerk waiting on us was checking me out. I was seconds from finishing the transaction and she took a call. Disappeared for a few minutes into the back room. No explanation. I assume it was a personal call. We were on a deadline to get to our destination.. Had to ask a different clerk for a sales receipt. No ribbon or anything on box. Sigh.

My favorite coffee chain! Always stop at Winans whenever Im in the area for coffee and chocolate. This location also serves wine and cocktails, and sells wine by the bottle. And chocolate! Of course theres chocolate. I could go on like Forest Gump here. This location includes a drive thru, but why? I understand others want convenience, but I prefer letting my eyes feasting, too.

Terrific coffees! Ive ventured to try several of them and they never disappoint. Ive settled on their Wurtle. Just wish the had little cookies or something to go with the coffees.

Winans always gives us a 5-Star experience. Regardless of the location we have visited (all but the Downtown Dayton location, meaning we havent visited it -not that our experience was sub-par) employs quality individuals who provide top notch service. We absolutely love Winans!

I absolutely love Winans coffee and chocolate, and I was excited to get some as a little treat for my mother. Sadly, the barista (she has dark curly hair) was quite rude to me, and I left with a rather bitter taste in my mouth.Upon entering Winans, I went to order my chocolates first and then coffee. It wasnt until after I paid that I noticed the barista had forgotten to add some of the chocolates to my box, so I went to ask her about it. Because she could not hear me over the espresso machine, I had to lower my mask so she could hear me. But she ignored me, and she snapped at me saying that I had to wear my mask. I let it go. I pulled my mask up and politely asked her again for my other chocolates. She collected them and put them on the visibly dirty counter, wrapped in only wax paper. She didnt have the decency to ask if Id like them in the box with my other chocolates, or even put them in a new box. I took the chocolates out of the wax paper and put them in my box and set the wax paper on the counter. As Im paying for my forgotten chocolates, she proceeds to tell me there is a trash can for the wax paper by the door.Is she serving me or am I serving her? I sure know Im the one paying for service. If I made any mistake or misunderstood Winans covid safety procedures that made her feel uncomfortable, that could have been cleared up with a friendly sentence, but it was not. Covid is a virus, it does not give people a license to be rude. Im deeply disappointed in Winans for having such low standards in who they hire as a barista. At least one of your baristas’ needs to review her customer service etiquette.

The Wi-Fi here is TERRIBLE. My devices kept getting kicked off, and had difficulty reconnecting. This is NOT a great place to sit and get work done, which is a shame because they have great drinks and plentiful charging outlets.

I live in Knoxville, TN. My husband and I were on our way home from vacation in the town of Bellbrook, Ohio, and we needed a great cup of coffee to get started on the long trip home. I Googled coffee shops, and I seen Chocolate and coffee and hoped for the best!I ordered 2 of your homemade muffins, and 2 large hot Dirty Chai Latte as that is almost always what we order. I like the DCL drinks, but its never made perfectly, Im always adding something to give it a more sweet taste....until now! This DCL was the most amazing drink ever!!!! I had NEVER ever had a better tasting cup than this in all the years I have been traveling, and drinking this!!!!I ate my muffin which was just as amazing, but my husband didnt get around to eating his muffin until 2 days later, and it was still just as good, and moist as the day he bought it.Im not exactly picky when it comes to coffee and muffins, but every time I travel up north, this is an absolute must stop at place. I am so happy that it is right off the interstate, and easy to find.Please dont ever close, or better yet, I know a great location you can open another coffee shop at!Sorry I didnt take any pictures, but inside is very relaxing, gives you the home feeling away from home, and pictures would not do any justice anyhow! In fact, I could drive up there right now just for another great cup of your hot Dirty Chai Latte! Thank you so much!!!!!!

Usually like their coffee better than Starbucks...I went through the drive thru and asked for sugar free syrup, they kept reading it back as regular and I kept correcting them because I can’t have sugar. When I took a sip it was all sugar. Will Never go there again

I’m an essential healthcare worker during this time trying to support local and help my favorite places out. I ordered 1 lb of ground coffee for pick up. When I got home and opened my bag it was whole bean. I called Winans that same evening letting them know what happened. The woman on the phone sincerely apologized and told me to bring it back for them do grind. After work the next day I brought it to the drive thru and explained to the worker again what happened. She told me they cannot take it back to grind- understandable during this pandemic. Then she proceeded to explain they cannot trade it for what I ordered nor could they refund me/replace my order (fix their mistake). I asked her what the solution to this would be and she stated again there is nothing she could do and to grind it over at Dorthy Lane down the road. (A grocery store) Again, this is a pandemic so I doubt I am allowed to bring my own coffee in at this time. Finally, after she told me she will not do anything to fix this, I left. I will not be back to Winans and I will tell everyone about this poor customer experience. I guess I’ll be buying Starbucks!

I am very surprised that a coffee shop of this caliber will not do a basic pour over coffee. It is a shame that something so simple is not offered. Please consider this service, every other coffee place in the area will do this.Check out Ghost Light or even Boston Stoker down the road.

Great coffee! They need to have more of the sugar free chocolates! They have different flavors of coffee beans and each day they brew a different flavor. They also have different wines and coffee based cocktails.

Ill take their cold brew any day of the week.

Newly renovated, cozy setting for a cup of coffee. The coffee and chocolates are delicious. The Winans Blend coffee and dark chocolate meltaways are my favorite. My sons loves the chocolate covered oreos and rice krispy treats. Staff are usually friendly and helpful. Occasionally, Ive experienced the shop not being open at the posted hours. Those are the only negative experiences Ive had.

I use to be a huge fan of Winans not only because its local but I use to really enjoy their coffee but the last couple times Ive visited the coffee is so flat and lattes taste more like warm milk than anything remotely coffee related. (Not just this location but multiple locations with this issue) Not only that but theyre rewards program is all messed up. If I go to any different Winans location it seems that the point from other stores dont transfer between stores so Ive spent well over the 10 stars but for some reason Ive been stuck at 7 for the longest time. It would be different if they told you hey, our store is different than this one or whatever but when I asked about the issues Im just told well it says you need 3 more for a free one funny how its been that for months but whatever I guess. Its just disappointing. I use to swear by this Coffee shop but now I find it over priced and just not worth it anymore.

Order black ice tea no sweetener added please,the lady put some type of sanitizer in my drink I could taste it. I threw it out ,but this is bad, thats very bad ,could of made me sick maybe the sanitizer water was in the tea container Im not sure but glad i realized it was a chemical taste, not a refreshing taste .Gross!!wasted $2.49, be safe people😕most people dont care about others buying a product,just a $ 9.00 @hour job. Makin my own black tea ,lesson learned😊

I’m sorry but I won’t be returning here any time soon. On a day where there was only one other person ordering, a small cappuccino took almost 10 minutes to make. The cappuccino itself was only filled halfway and did not taste like any cappuccino I’ve ever had. Not happy with my order.
