Amazing customer service. As a beginner, I know nothing about skateboards but the staff was kind enough to walk me through the process and helping me pick a board within my budget. Would defenitely go again!

The shop [clerk/owner?] is very friendly and knowledgeable. He helped me pick out a new deck for my sons skateboard and some new shoes that wont wear out like his Vans.

The Vault is an awesome upgrade from the previous store (Ground Zero). I had shopped at Ground Zero for over 20 years and after the remodel into The Vault, I can honestly say the new ownership has really brought a lot of life back into this place. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They will go above and beyond to ensure you get what you need and are always enthusiastic when doing so.They have a great assortment of products. Everything from mens, womens and kids clothing, to long boards, skateboards and snowboarding gear. There is an excellent shoe selection; as well as their sale shoes which are buy 1 get 1 free.This store is not only the best store in Davis but quite possibly the best board shop in the greater Sacramento area. Keep doing what youre doing, you guys are killing it!

Yesterday I went in looking for riser pads and shorter hardware for a new skateboard I had purchased elsewhere (the screws I had were too long).I asked for the riser pads first and chose the smallest ones. I then asked for the shortest hardware and the person behind the counter insisted that it wouldnt fit and that I would need longer screws. I didnt have my current screws on me so I went with his suggestion.The screws they sold me were longer than the ones I had and hang too far, so they look a little tacky.They also handed me the hardware loose and did not provide a bag.

Great service, I went in knowing close to nothing about skateboarding but the staff was very friendly and helpful even to a newbie such as me. Everything with skateboarding can be a little intimidating at first but these guys make you feel right at home, and the prices arent too bad either. I also love their free service of tightening skateboards because that has come in handy often!

Best customer service Ive come across in my 15+ years of skating. Vault used to be Ground Zero but now Jake and his team has done a great job at educating and building a nice northern California skate boarding community. Jake built my top notch complete within 20 minutes, he knew what was best for me after a short chat of my current needs/situation. Went in to get my child their first skateboard. Not only was staff very helpful but they had everything we needed including helmets and pads. Recommend this store to anyone looking to get their first complete skateboard.

The guy Jacob was very nice. When you buy your first skateboard you get four free stickers. When I bought my first skateboard the workers name was Jacob and my name was Jacob too. So I got another free sticker so five in all. Its very fun in there too because you get to ride the skateboards and test them. I got the SpongeBob one and the grip tape was the SpongeBob characters on it. The bottom was a nice design too. I reccomend to buy skateboards there.

My 10 year old son earned himself a skateboard. I know nothing about skating, but the guys at The Vault really helped us figure out what we wanted and what the best fit would be. They were patient with all my questions and all of my sons questions, too. We bought a shop board package with upgrades where my son wanted them. It is awesome! They are professional, knowledgeable and friendly. A local shop run by locals themselves. Im glad my money has gone to support them!

This boardshop has really broken into the community. Ive seen them working promotions, giveaways, and events both inside and outside the shop, all over Davis. Its nice to see a small business that has its own unique style and cares so much about the people it services. Quality products. Knowledgable and welcoming staff. A very cool store to drop by in the heart of downtown.
