The team at Flooring America is terrific. Dustin set us up with new wood and carpet for the downstairs. It was challenging as the space is the home gym, office and home theater:) The wood and carpet installers were outstanding- fast, thorough and knowledgeable. The prices for material and installation were very reasonable. Because of the companys large network of suppliers, we didnt have to wait long for materials and installation.

Mike was our installer and he was able to come within a week of purchase. His crew knocked out four bedrooms in one day! We are loving our new floors that we recently purchased from Flooring America! There was so many different choices but Mark was very helpful and worked with us giving his expert advice so that we would make the right decision for our home. We even earned a returning customer reward!

My complaint is not so much with Flooring America (FA) and the sales team, but more with the scheduling and sub contractors that were used. I placed an order and put $1200 down which was half of the total amount for two 11’x11’ rooms The last week of August. I was told the materials would be available by 9 September. It actually arrived on 2 September and they needed the other half of the payment to schedule the work. We worked out an install date that day for the 16th which was a Wednesday. My wife and I both took tine off from work for the day of the install and we received a confirmation one week prior so we were set, so we thought. Day of install came and received a call at 9:30 from the installer to let me know he got a call from FA wanting to know when he was going to come pick up the materials. He had us scheduled for the next day which was Thursday. I started making phone calls because I was not getting answers as to how to move forward. FA said the best they could do was send someone Thursday. I had to take another day off from work. We had cleared both rooms for what should have been 1 day. Thursday the installer shows up (which I found out later that he was not the same one that called me the previous day) and he puts the floors down, they look good, but there was a gap under the base boards and they were going to install a moulding to close the gap. The thresholds across the doorways were not the right ones. At 2:30 pm the installer packs up and said they were done for the day. I asked about the gaps and thresholds, he said he would need to get them and he will be back tomorrow, Friday. So what was supposed to be a one day job has turned into 3. I was being told one story by FA, which contradicts what installer 1 had told me as to the reason why it wasn’t happening Wednesday. 2nd installer said he received a call Wednesday afternoon asking if he could do it Thursday morning, so I am not sure what happened to installer 1 that said he was supposed to be here Thursday. Nobody could from FA could give me a straight answer other than they apologize. Very disappointed that I spent $2400 for two 11’x11’ rooms and it took 3 days and 2 days off from work. The only reason it it didn’t cost me 3 days is because they aren’t coming until 4pm after I get home from work. No offer of a discount for the inconvenience of having a living room full of furniture and items from those 2 rooms. We have 3 other future projects in our house that are twice as big as this one and I am sorry to say they will not be getting our business. They got their money and I guess I just have to be the one who is has to deal with the inconvenience.

Wonderful experience and great results! Tony, our salesperson was extremely competent, took lots of time with us for our purchase of tile. Tony knows his product and gave good suggestions on the whole process. Dustin, the manager measured and he was very knowledgeable and nice to work with too. Amanda and the tilers were thee best! Our bathroom and laundry area looks fantastic. I would definitely recommend Flooring America and will use them again for our next project.

Multiple things went wrong with my experience at Flooring America, Davenport. It started with the supplier changing the delivery date at the last minute. No one notified me that the installers werent going to show up until I contacted the store to find out why they appeared to be late. I dont want to explain all of the details that happened over the next month so in summary: the carpet was great, the contracted installers were fantastic as they seemed to care more about my satisfaction than the store, but the miscommunication or lack of it, unmet expectations and excuses/blame among the staff gets me to 2 stars. I wont be going back.If you do end up shopping there...I would recommend working with Anna.

When we moved to the Quad Cities we chose to build a home in Bettendorf. We worked with Dustin at Flooring America and could not be more pleased. He went above and beyond working with our General Contractor and also in the follow up after the product was installed. We used their floor products throughout the home and also the ceramics in the bathroom. We would go straight to Dustin if we had to build again rather than search with various vendors. He can be trusted to provide a quality product at a fair price with excellent installation and is there after the sale if needed.

Great Product!!I chose to install myself, and well pretty sure my wife regrets it, Because I have yet to finish the stair nose! They would have had it all done for me by now!

Worked with Dustin to help figure out a backsplash for our kitchen. He was very helpful and took the time to actually come to our house to accomplish the task. He then worked with us to figure out materials and set us up with Kendall to install the tile. Kendall did an amazing job. It was great working with both of them and my backsplash looks amazing.

This was our second time purchasing thru this company and both times we had excellent customer service! Anna was just a sweetie and very patient with us while we were trying to make a final decision. Thank you for everything from start to finish!!!!

Today was the 1st day we started looking around at flooring. So we were just browsing. Employees were informative without being pushy. Checked in with us and then left us alone to browse.

Flooring America in Davenport was the most competitive out of all QCA flooring retailers on the special order porcelain tile I needed for two of my projects. The sales assistant was helpful in making color selections and providing installer recommendations. Their installer did an awful job, tile not level and slopes away from the wall in the shower and had thin set coming up through the grout lines in many places on the floor. They installed tile with chipped corners that I later had to break out, cut and reset myself. They also installed my metal trim pieces incorrectly which you cant fix. Dissatisfaction with Flooring America was with their installer, special order wait times and zero return policy for special order items. Highly satisfied with their competitive pricing and good sales support. Not all staff there are intelligent though with the products they represent so be sure to work with Kristen. The rest are lacking product knowledge and dedication to their profession.

I have used Flooring America for my homes personally and they have done such a great job that I am confident when I refer them to clients (I am a realtor) that they take great care of my clients! Their showroom is beautiful, and the sales staff are all knowledgeable about recommending the right product for you (no, you have dogs, this carpet isnt for dogs, their nails will snag it), I appreciate that honesty and feel confident in referring them to my clients!

My first purchase of shaw LVP flooring. Our salesman, Mark, was a great resource for selection and installation tips. I also purchased carpet and pad to install on a set of stairs, another first time installation project. Mark was great regarding this purchase and project too. The stores product display floor and pricing is also the reason for my 5 Star rating.

I called to get pricing on a tile a friend of mine had checked out. I liked the tile for my home. The woman who answered said she gave the pricing to my friend and to get it from her. Apparently, they dont need new customers.

Wonderful people and the contractors they use are awesome.

Horrible experience. Luxury vinyl tile has so many open seams. Looks horrible. Multiple flooring experts from other companies have made comments on the poor installation. Flooring America checked out the floor and told us it looks great. So much for the customer is always right. We are stuck with a poorly installed floor riddled with seams that we paid full price for, and will be replacing as soon as we can afford another floor. My advice, spend your money elsewhere.

Better places to shop for carpet than this business. Communication within the company must be pretty poor. They were very prompt to send someone out to pre measure and we were reassured that the carpet could be installed the following week. We paid in full up front and that’s when problems began. Seems like as soon as the salesman makes their commission they have no interest in following through till the job is finished. We didn’t hear from anyone to even schedule a day and time for install for several days. The day of install had to be rescheduled 3 times and when the install crew says they’ll be there first thing in the morning that means 10AM. To top it all off they even had to use our vacuum to clean up after themselves because they didn’t have their own.
