I had faulty brakes on my 2006 CTS, so I decided to take it to this shop. I left without a single regret. The job was fast, I received the best service, and paid a reasonable price. If you want a reliable mechanic, Mark and Steve are your guys!

Charged $298 for wheel alignment, which is almost double than the competition in the area...and $100 more than the dealer Charge for the same four wheel alignment service. Will never go there again.

Pretty bizarre experience. So bizarre I have to share.I have used them before 2-3 times. never had a real issue with them. Steve and mark are the owners I think. I picked up my car today and it wasn’t up front so Steve told me to follow him, so I hopped a plastic chair (the walkway was blocked on purpose by the team there). Mark yelled at me saying “not on the couch man!” In an aggressive tone. I turned around confused because they don’t have a couch they have plastic chairs. I’m like what? He goes “if you go to someone’s house do you step on their couch ? How bout I come over and step on your couch?” I thought it was inappropriate to say that to a guest. I told him “no, if it was your house I’d probably take my shoes off “ he then said “I’m going to go jump on your car how would you like that?” I asked him what his problem was and was so confused that he was yelling at me. “He responds saying I’m an “animal” or what I did was “un-human” something along those lines. The whole time Steve, the other owner (who has always been nice) just said “don’t worry about him”. I thought it was very inappropriate and very uncomfortable that he made threats of going to my house, and also made a statement about physical damage and to my property all because I stepped on a plastic couch. Could have been resolved way easier, he clearly has some anger issues. He seems like he has a real bad temper. . It was very aggressive and confrontational and I will not go back. It also was disconcerting that Steve allowed it, where anyone would clearly see that it was completely inappropriate.

Steve is the most incredible guy with integrity and honesty. We just serviced two cars, not only were they done the same day but the quality of the parts they provided were above average. Excellent performance, professional staff, and great owners. Highly recommend.

I came in for an oil change on my 2015 GMC Terrain, and the whole thing was done in around 30 minutes. I paid a very fair price, and was treated like family. I would recommend this establishment to anyone!

We called prior to make sure they accepted the promotional credit card offer to which they said yes, they did. Then after services were completed and paid for, they declined the promotion. Steve gave me his word that he would call back after speaking with the company then failed to call for 11 days. We never had an issue with this place before but Im very dissatisfied as it feels like they misrepresented themselves and were dishonest about how they do business. Be very wary when it comes to any quotes and agreements. Get it in writing.

Absolute scam artists who pray on their customers ignorance. When questioned about any basic mistakes on their part they verbally attack you. Had breaks and rotors replaced at their shop. They completely installed the equipment incorrectly multiple times, and used incorrect hardware intended for the rear break calipers. The result was less than 5 months before the rotors were scored badly, and pads worn completely from hanging up. Best part was finding the rapper of the brake pads, with the shops and gm’s name / address stuffed into my frame, days after the installation and lug nuts missing. When I called to discuss this issue the GM used profanity and was completely unprofessional.

Outstanding service. I had my car towed here after my starter failed. They replaced the part and gave me a very thorough inspection in short order. It was probably about 5 hours between drop off and pick up which is pretty good since I didnt mak any kind of appointment. Steve at the front desk was kind and very knowledgeable; He took extra care to explain what was wrong and was overall more attentive than someone at a dealership would be. Strongly recommend them, theyve certainly earned my business going forward.

After patronizing Darien Tire & Auto for decades, I was sold a $1,000 used part with a 6,000 mi warranty. After 3,000 mi I had trouble with the car continually stopping. I was told the (part) is simply having trouble communicating with the autos computer. Wrong!!! At 6,500 mi the $1,000 part totally failed. No refund. No replacement. Nothing! This happened after 2 decades of loyal patronage to these guys.

Work close by and noticed my tire indicator was on. My right rear tire was at 21psi where the rest were at 35 psi. I checked the tire and saw one big ole lag bolt between one of the treads. I remembered this place before as they let me fill one of my tires with air that was a little low in the past.I popped in a half an hour before the closed. They were busy, but I explained the situation and he asked for the keys. One of the guys was working on my tire within 5 minutes. Funny, he never asked me for my name or any other particulars. It was done in 15 minutes. Of course they found another nail in my left front wheel but if was small and too close to the sidewall to fix.Quite a no nonsense shop. The guy was nice enough, the repair guy even complimented my vehicle when I left. It cost 30 bucks for the repair which I found a little high but the speed and quality made me feel better about that. I now have a go-to place for tire repair.

I needed to basic repairs that were not complicated. I was charged $100 for an estimate and I have used many other repair places and no one has ever charged me $100 towards an estimate. It did not go towards the repair bill either. They did not fix one of the repairs. Initially told me I would be able to get a ride to and from my home which was only a mile and a half away. After they had my money and my vehicle was still not fixed, they refused to give me a ride to and from my home. They were not courteous either after they got my money. They overcharged me significantly.

Darien Tire & Auto is a AAA recommended service garage. I had issues with a 2002 GMC ENVOY gear shift not working properly the button would not work in order to shift gears and as a safety it put the vehicle in Neutral.Called AAA for roadside service to get towed to a garage and they recommended Darien Tire & Auto and I am very glad they did . The vehicle was towed in after hours so I called Wednesday morning and talked with Steve and he explained he was busy and would get to it as soon as he could . About a. Hour and a half after my call Steve called back and explained my options replace a cable and it seems like the current gear shift was working , and he said it may never lock up again . Or replace the gear shift and I chose the new part option and because the part got their late afternoon yesterday the car wasn’t finished until the end of the day .We agreed I would pick it up this morning when I arrived he explained and showed me the defective part . The price was very reasonable including a AAA discount . Very pleased with the customer service and we will be going back .Thank you Steve for making an unpleasant situation into a pleasant one .

Ive been coming here for years after spending way too much at dealerships. They always quickly and accurately diagnose and fix the issue and they never ever try and have service done that isnt necessary.I love that when I come here I dont have to be on guard as theyll always take a look and let me know my options. Especially now as my car gets older it doesnt always make sense to do every possible repair when they arent necessary.When I do need something done its always reasonable and the labor amount charged is what it takes and nothing more. No inflated part prices or labor, ever.The only suprises here are that they can get the car back to you so quickly. They must have talented people to turn the cars over so fast, because with the service and price they offer the lot is always full with work waiting to be done.I also like they are full service so whatever your vehicle needs they can handle it from brakes to exhaust to engine, all done in one place. Thank you Mark and crew for making car issues so much less stressful.If I could just find a general contractor for my house this good Id have all the bases covered.

I selected this business to install a set of GoodYear tires that I purchased online at GoodYear.com. The service I received was very professional and attentive. To do the entire job took them about one hour which was fast considering all of their garage bays were full (with vehicles) when I arrived. BTW, they alerted me to potential front brake issues which I then checked when I got home and THEY WERE CORRECT. My front brake pads were worse down and needed to be replaced immediately. A BIG THANKS TO DARIEN TIRE & AUTO. No disappointments! Perfect in every respect!

Recently AAA recommended this mechanic to me to check and replace two batteries which I believed I was having problems with. I was informed that once my vehicles were towed they would simply replace the batteries free of charge since both batteries were AAA batteries still under warranty. I spoke to the manager in advance and explained the circumstances. I was told to have them towed in. For each car I recieved a $200 bill for replacing a battery which should have been free. I called to speak to the manager about the problem, he was rude and demeaning. He spoke down to me telling me that I obviously didnt understand how AAA worked. I reported him to AAA, and they called him back to find out why I was being charged. According to AAA he was just as rude with her. AAA instructed him on my request to pull the battery out and put my dead one back in since he had been dishonest with me. They would the town the car back to me and replace the battery for free in my driveway. If he had planned on charging me for the batteries against AAA policy and providing me with a cheap battery that had 1/6th the warranty as the AAA battery that should have replaced it, then he should have sought my permission. But he did not. He replied that it would be a $30 charge for undoing the work he performed without my concent or permission. Thirty dollars for work that a trained monkey could perform in 5 minutes. Since Im having emergency surgery I didnt have time to argue with a con artist. So I told them I would accept the vehicle with the battery due to the rush I was in. I would deal with filing complaints later and AAA would reimburse me for the batteries due to his dishonesty. They also offered to file a complaint against him to review his standing as a AAA mechanic after hearing the story of his dishonesty. When we went to collect the car he had removed the battery despite my decision. He finally replaced the battery a second time. Again it was the cheap battery with less of a warranty that a Wal-Mart battery. Between the two cars I spent a weeks income on work that was supposed to be free. In the middle of a pandemic when I am not collecting my ministerial salary due to an inability to work. That was our money to get by after my surgery. Because of him we may have to risk my life and delay my emergency surgery. My husband will have to build up more savings so that our 4 year old autistic son can have anything he needs while my husband if off work caring for me post op. All because of one dishonest con artist mechanic. If you believe this mans actions were wrong, I ask you to please boycott this shop. This business prays on those who need help the most. They are immoral and their actions are despicable. I will be filing complaints with the BBB and the city immediately. Shame on Darien Tire and Auto for their predator type behavior.

I dont have anything special to say other than I contacted them three different ways and they never got back to me. They were, however, highly recommended, so.....not sure? I probably shouldnt have started writing this review, but no looking back and all...

I had a flat tire two weeks ago, went to another shop down the road and was told to make an appointment and come back while my tire was losing air! I stopped by Darien Tire & Auto in desperation at 5:30 pm right before they were supposed to close. Steve was so nice to let me in. It turned out that a nail punctured my tire on the side wall and the tire had to be replaced. I knew my tires were due for replacement as the treads were almost gone, so I had all four tires replaced. They got me out within an hour!Fast-forward two weeks, I got another flat today. Steve recognized me and said that the repair would be free. I was flabbergasted at his kindness! Its so refreshing to see an act of kindness when it is least expected, especially in todays environment! Lets all be nice to someone and pay it forward.

This place is absolutely FABULOUS!!As a woman I am always fearful of being taken because it is assumed that I dont know anything about cars.This repair shop is totally transparent. They showed me what was wrong, told me the possible consequences and let me choose what I could afford to have fixed at the time. They also showed me the result of the repairs and the old parts.I feel as if I have a new & SAFE car after their repairs. My car has 193,000 miles on it and they kept it running.Kudos to them on a great job.

I called there office of Darien tire and auto concerned about my wind shield pump not applying the solution they told me to come in and we will check it out for you. As explained I was from out of town Phoenix in fact not used to the cold weather they gave me 1st class treatment they diagnose part of the the problem and I walked out with the 23.00 invoice. A guy from Phoenix definitely pass the word on this company.

Place opens at 730 but the guy started opening the doors a couple minutes early and was even willing to help me out. My tire had a nail in it. the gentleman that helped me showed me where the nail was and even showed me how a plug works. unfortunately the tire needed to be replaced since the nail was on the side. I felt they were honest from the beginning telling me the wait times and showing me the actual nail. They had to order my tire so I left the car there and picked it up after work and everything was easy.

Worst service ever! Yesterday I made an appointment for tire change first thing in the morning, dropped off my car at 9am and since nobody calls till 3pm - made phone call to see are my car ready. To my biggest surprise they tell me that they cant finish today because they do not have exact tires- theyre best guess is sometimes tomorrow I can have my car back . Wow . And then wow again because they charged me exactly $70.00 for I dont know what. Discount tire changed my tires and did the whole check up thing in less then 1 hour for $270.00 all included. Also I ended with Goodyear tires instead of some no name brand and for $25.00 less per piece. Im not coming back!!!

Spent 1500 bucks on intake manifold and evap sensor they told me to come pick the car up it was fine and I can go take the emission test I paid them over the phone went to pick the car up and there was a check engine light I’ll take the car back the next day they tell me there is going to be a charge to fix the car again when I tell them they charged me to much for the intake manifold they offered to give me back 150 Store credit I told them to keep the money and I’ll go somewhere else a big waste of time and money

The Best Repair Shop around! This shop cares about your car as much as you do. They wont try and find a fake repair to do. They are honest about the condition of your car. If you can wait on a getting a repair done they will tell you without compromising your safety. I wont go anywhere else when i have a repair. The reason they are so busy is because they are good at what they do and their customers know it.

I went in for an oil change last month. I also asked for them to check the brakes, tires, fluids & anything else that might need maintenance. I know a little bit about cars, & always ask to see what they are speaking about, if anything is recommended.After the oil change, Mark let me know that everything was looking good & I didnt need anything further. I believe that this is the first time that this has ever happened. I usually get at least one thing that needs to be done, if not something that is highly suggested. Being informed that everything looked good to them was a great feeling.I will definitely return to Darien Tire & Auto for future needs.

Not a positive experience. Marc was lying through his teeth about the last time my Jeep was there. Marc also likes to make up prices depending on how he feels. Alignments cost $95 however to me they cost $250. Im not sure they know how to align a Jeep. It’s only the front caster, toe and centering up the wheel. Steve stood there and did nothing and obviously doesn’t care how customers are getting treated. Not real happy that my Jeep was there and then got shoved outside due to them being “too busy” and they had other customers. Guess my money isn’t green enough.

I received very good service at this location. I typically go to the dealer for maintenance and repairs because I trust them. I tried to wait out the dealers mechanics’ strike, but I needed my brakes done badly. I reached out to a few local repair shops and chose this location because the price I was quoted was $60-$100 less than other shops, or what I would have paid at the dealer. Although I was skeptical, I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I made an appointment with ease. I paid exactly what I was quoted, including taxes and my new brakes are working perfectly! I’m glad I took the chance here and I will definitely consider this location for future service.

I dont know what are these people talking about in reviews, but this mexican guy there is a thief, unprofessional and rudeness,thats what you get coming here , I needed to change the struts on my nissan sentra, I looked it up ,they cost 280 $went to his shop ,asked him how much would it be ,struts and labor ,he told around 1000 $ haha and theres like 20 bolts total to change the struts on this car ,because they come already assembled...aw yea, a year ago also,my friend and I came in with his 97 bmw , we had a flat tire and needed a used one , he charged us somethin round 300 bucks for a used chinese tire ...
