I was in the market for a new pickup truck. I had been in outside sales & though its a great looking truck, my 5 yr old Colorado has racked up some miles. Not enough for someone who wants to fix issues as they arise, but for me - who never wants to turn a wrench on anything ever again- it was time to buy.I looked around, had some unpleasant encounters with a couple of dealerships, & had a couple not really what I want experiences before I found myself on the phone with MAX SANDERS of Terry Thompson.What a class act! Max was professional, courteous, knowledgeable & not the least bit pushy. I had a very specific list of what I wanted & Max found it. Ok ok, I would have preferred black but then I would have had to compromise on the corvette engine model- THAT wasnt happening. Max got everything (else) I wanted. I think I paid a fair price. Financing DID NOT leave me in the dealership for HOURS, but was a quick hour long process. It took longer for Max to show me all the new bells & whistles I have, & to set up my On Star/Sirius Radio amenities.Max earned a lifelong customer and will send everyone I know to Terry Thompson. 5 stars

Great price on the car when in these times where people are buying 3-4k over MSRP. Good service. Did have a minor issue with the car, vibration at hwy speeds. They didnt want to do anything about it. I guess the good deal didnt include any minor repairs that most places would fix.

They were courteous and very knowledgeable about my vehicle and all services that were due and covered by the warranty. Great care was taken to ensure my vehicle was kept clean. The services were performed on time with no issues found after the work was performed. This is my 3rd vehicle purchased from Terry Thompson and have always received great service after the sale.

Excellent Buying Experience!! Richard Barlow went above and beyond as a sales representative. We drove from Laurel MS down to the dealership after doing an online search through Chevrolet. Richard took time to listen to my concerns and work with us to get us into our new 2021 Tahoe. This is a shortened updated review. If you want to buy a vehicle and get it serviced at same location buy somewhere else Buying the truck is wonderful and easy. Great sells department As for service it’s a different story. Oh and. If you think tires on a new vehicle have a warranty. They don’t No prorating no help. Changed 2 at 16000miles and changing other 2 at 32000 miles. And terry Thompson is only location that has touched truck And won’t return phone calls

All my dealings with the Management at Terry Thompson were super competent and they treated me like anyone would like to be treated. When the warranty work was completed on my Truck, it operated like a new one. The trouble I incurred with my Truck led me to hire a wrecker to have it brought to Daphne, Al from Picayune, Ms. where Ive always relied on Terry Thompson to do all my work when needed(and even though the wrecker cost me a significant amount) to bring it back to Daphne, Al. from Picayune, Ms. thats where Ive had my service before and it was close to my home. I recommend Terry Thompson to everyone. With a GM truck made in USA and with good service you cant go wrong.

**I just had the WORST experience ever at Terry Thompson Chevrolet in Daphne!!! ** DO NOT send your friends or family to this business!!! 👎👎 Last week, our 2015 Chevy Tahoe had a little problem with the steering. I looked online and learned there was a recall for the power steering model year 2015. We made an appointment & took the car to them last Thursday. They were done that same day and I picked it up. Car was okay for a few days but fast forward to yesterday afternoon. I am driving it and my power steering goes completely OUT. !! It was feeling locked up and I honestly didn’t think I was going to be able to turn it to get off the road and avoid an accident. Very scary!! I was very concerned about my safety and getting the car off the road and parked. Called my husband and we took it to the service department and dropped it off & left the keys in the drop box. So today I am thinking they are going to fix the recall correctly and get a phone call from the service department. NOT the news I expected!! They said the steering gear is broken and this is not their fault/issue and our cost to repair this is $2250.00!!! Seriously!?! I have had 4 Tahoes in the past 18-20 years and never had to replace a steering gear!! My car only has 75,000 miles on it and we find it mighty suspicious that we have this problem a few days after they worked on the “recall”!! They were very rude and need some training in customer service! The manager would not even speak to us & a young girl who works at the reception held my keys hostage until they collected an $85.00 fee for this information! I realize most car places charge a diagnostic fee but this whole thing just stinks all the way around!! No wonder these car guys get such a bad rap. It’s just a shame they try to rip off hard working people 😠😠

I can’t say enough good things about this business. I flew in from CO after finding the used vehicle that I wanted online and speaking with Nick Lambert over the phone. Nick had a very nice employee named Ed pick me up at the airport and drive me to the dealership. We finished up the paperwork very quickly and completed the transaction. After driving less than 10 miles down the road, the air conditioning went out in the vehicle. Nick told me to bring it back and the service department determined that the compressor had to be replaced. Not only did they fix the A/C free of charge, they also put me up in a hotel for the evening. These gentlemen handle business the right way. I would seriously consider flying back to Daphne, AL from CO again when I need a vehicle in the future. Picture is the vehicle at the Black Cloud Trail Head in CO.

Horrible, horrible service! I felt like I was dealing with a circus. Extreme lack of communication from service advisor. Very dishonest service department and the service manager is very condescending. Jason Morris and Bianca Sharkey really need some serious customer service training. I have never complained about any service in my life or every left poor marks like this on a survey. The service was that horrible. I have had my truck in twice and the leak wasn’t even repairedcorrectly and I don’t it was repaired this time. They left a water stained headliner unattached in my 2020 Silverado plus just gobbed silicon on the top of the spoiler and the spoiler wasn’t even attached all the way on one side. They messed up my truck and then were so, so rude to me. I have already filed a complaint with GM and have a case going. I would never recommend Terry Thompson to anyone and if asked will let people know about my experience.

Mike Nesmith was a pleasure to work with. He grabbed the truck I was interested in from the detailing guys so we didnt have to wait to test drive it. The test drive route Mike recommended also allowed me to get a good feel for the truck. I drove over an hour to come see the truck as well and my time was limited. Both Mike and the finance manager worked quickly to make sure I was able to leave at 5pm. The truck I purchased was delivered to me the next morning and the overall experience was great! My only complaint would be that the dealership didnt have the assist step bars that were supposed to be included with my truck. Mike is supposed to let me know when they come in but Ill have to drive over an hour back to the dealership to have them installed. It would be nice if the dealership could offer other options in that scenario. For example, have the steps shipped to my home if I feel I can install them myself (which I can install them myself). Mike also mentioned another person that has been waiting on step bars for over 2 months so that doesnt make me feel like Ill see them anytime soon.

I went in for an oil change and tire rotation/balance with a 10:00 appointment. I was there for three hours! I asked one time what taking so long and was told they were balancing my tires then and they were almost done. I walked outside and saw my car still sitting there not even being worked on yet, and it was another hour before I left. I can understand If I did not have an appointment but I have never had to wait that long for basic services, especially with an appointment.

The Covid Corvette experience was no fun at all! My irritation with Chevy is the way they handle the allocation process and the communications with the dealership. 22 months to fill an order is ridiculous!! I dont blame Chevy for the strike or Covid or parts delays, but the allocation delays to a medium sized dealership is not fair at all! My sales person was never kept informed and I had to depend on Corvette owner websites for any feedback on what was going on. Why is this communication loop so weak?? The car is WONDERFUL and the dealer did an excellent job of prepping the car. There is only one issue with the blemishes on one side of the carbon fiber engine dress up pieces. The paint quality is much improved over my 2005 Corvette.

My experience is not entirely the service departments fault, but my truck was in the service department for 7 weeks because of a single injector issue. The length of the stay was due to waiting on a cable needed to diagnose the problem. Regardless of whos at fault, its unacceptable for someone to have to wait nearly 2 months for a repair and reverie nothing more than an apology for the inconvenience. Someone should be liable for a truck with less than 17k miles on it having these issues and the loss of my vehicle for the months I still had to make payments. I appreciate that the service department issued me a loner car during the service, but it is not the equivalent of my truck. There should be some type of compensation to the consumer who is in no way at fault for the situation. Hopefully someone will read this and practices will be adjusted in the future to prevent this type of extreme delay in future repairs for other consumers. When circumstances like this arise in the future hopefully the next consumer will feel more appreciated.

We purchased the 2020 Chevrolet Equinox LT from our Salesman, Max Sanders. Max was about the most laid back salesman, but extremely knowledgeable about his product. He covered every aspect of new technology on the Equinox and made us feel REAL comfortable in making the purchase. We also got the Auto Butler Paint Process which protects the paint from acid rain, bird droppings and harsh elements. I know every time I bring it in for service I will get it back clean from the Broadway Car Wash they have on the premise. What a tremendous vehicle buying experience!! I would highly recommend Terry Thompson Chevrolet!

It took right at 1-1/2 hours to get to the finance department. There interest rates are to high. I plan on going to my bank Monday to see what kind of rates they have. Then back to Dealership. Hope to get a second key for the car and a discount on the maintenance agreement for my tires, balance and alignment. Since it took so long Saturday.

Great experience with Hope! She was patient and willing to work hard to find the right truck for my husband. Terry Thompson had inventory when others dealers in the region did not. The communication between the Sales reps and Service needs to be tweaked as there was some miscommunications. Its always an intimidating experience to buy a car, but its even harder buying from across the country! But the staff really went out of their way to help me when I relocated to Alabama from the West Coast.I found the car I wanted online. From there, the process was easily set in motion. I was picked up at the airport by the company, and had the pleasure of riding with the funniest, friendliest person!Once there, the final transaction was done and I was on the road to my new home! I love my new car so much. It was sold to me as is, and the company was up front about anything it might need; no nasty surprises! That is rare in a used car dealership.As far as customer service goes, I was treated above and beyond what I expected. Had appointment @ 2pm for oil change got there early but didn’t put truck on the rack till 3pm dropped oil cap down into engine compartment had 2 or three people trying to get it out. Did not get my truck back until almost 4pm, then no one cleaned of the oily hand prints off the white truck! Very disappointed! Todd Borck

They couldnt seem to find and fix any of my problems. They left a big sticky mess on my windshield from previous oil change. They didnt even bother to put windshield fluid in my reservoir. I was real disappointed, I am in the market to buy a newer Camaro and I will be looking elsewhere.

Brought my 2013 2500hd pickup in for diag. truck sat for 6 days in the parking lot. no one touched the truck and when asked about the truck they just lied and never did anything! worst customer service around.. service said i needed 30k worth of repairs because they couldnt scan for the code.. brought the truck to oreillys and seemingly they had no issue scanning my code! WOULD NOT RECCOMEND TERRY THOMPSON CHEVEROLET !!!!
