The shop rite in Danbury is a great place to shop. The employee are friendly and very helpful. They have all my products I am looking for if not they have been giving out rain checks

This supermarket has been on top of things throughout the pandemic.. my hats off to them.. after dealing with two days of people trying to buyout the store , they redoubled their efforts, set limits on everything and the Danbury area was able to cope with the circumstances much easier..always helpful if you ask.. if your family works there, be happy they were able to help!

They need to familiarize there staff to where merchandise is. And if they have a certain product or dont but the floral lady was awesome and very helpful.

A grocery store..where you buy GROCERIES...BUT...not a supervisor..or 2nd shift deli could find out about an item...one told me to call back in the morning..ALL HE HAD TO DO WAS LOOK OVER THE COUNTER TO SEE IF THE ITEM WAS ON A REFRIGERATED SHELF..the other basically said..ITS NOT MY JOB..reason being talked to vendor in the Bronx who said item is delivered every Friday..so folks...does any one who cares about a job want one in this store!?

Would like more variety in the meat selection, and more natural/healthy options.

The groceries is okay but the deli sandwiche was troubled. They have no toaster for the bread and the boy stuffed a half of pound of cheese in a two slice cold bread I couldnt eat it. Real bad

It was Can-Can time again, so this usually pretty calm store was jam packed. For good reason, of course! Great deals and despite how busy it was, there were plenty of employees and cashiers. It was also as clean and neat as usual.

Did not have 2 items advertised in flyer. Waited 15 minutes at customer service for raincheck. Entrance lobby smelled. Usually go to Brookfield ShopRite (great) but was passing by this location

It’s good that the A&P closed since it was no good anyways but does ShopRite is just the right grocery store and the supermarket with all the items that you would expect to find and back to at affordable prices.Thanks to the Cingari family to bring this to our neighborhood ;)Shoprite is just right ! The grocery pick up service is really cool since they get your stops right where you have parked your car.

I bought cans of Inka kola here sometimes, I paid extra 5 cents for each one, and when I wanna change for money on yours machines, I cant interchange for money, if the store doesnt will go to interchange for money so doesnt ask 5 cents for each soda. I did go to customer service and they didnt can help me.

Great. They have beautiful flowers. The only issue is during the pandemic they do not fix or put together any bouquets for any customers. The arrangements that they made ahead of time that are in the refrigeration units are way too expensive for the average customer at this time, with so many people out of work, many are retired, who are on limited income. Also many more people are laid off. Its a rough time for all.I was only able to get 2 flowers & put them in a bag. A manager happened to come by & gave me a branch of little white flowers called baby breath for free It was generous of her.

Love Shop Rite of Danbury. Its big. The aisles are roomy. Nothing in the middle of the aisles to clutter them up. Everything is clean. Food is fresh. Staff is pleasant. Far superior from other supermarkets. 👍👍

This store provides a variety of items. I am from another country and their international aisle has a variety of stuff. I can never go wrong shopping here.

Shelves still full with plenty of choices

Always a pleasant experience when I go shopping. Since its right next door to me I go there often. If theres a deal going on and for example, its 3 for $9.88, and they only have 2 of that particular item but they have plenty of similar items of the same nature, usually they allow the purchase of the similar item in the place of the 3rd required item.

The shoprite from home experience has been awesome! Great communication about substitutions and the staff is so quick to bring the groceries out to the car. Well worth the $4.99 fee! I am so impressed with the friendliness and efficiency of the staff here.

Very clean store with friendly employees very willing to help. Although they were doing a good business it never actually felt crowded! Well stocked with the exception of paper products—they had only a limited supply of toilet paper, no tissues and hardly any paper towels when I was there. The parking is good. Overall, this is a good store; they just need to work on keeping a good supply of paper products.

Love the self checkout here. They were friendly and helpful. Nice selection here too its a little out of the way for me in danbury but worth the trip at night.

The most wonderful customer service! I can never expect a facility to be perfect or never make a mistake, but in the moments they have made mistakes they amended it so quickly and in the best way possible. Everybody has always been polite and have gone out of their way to be helpful. So appreciate for all the workers - especially during this time.

A great selection of just about everything you need. Often times at better than average prices. Employees were quick and friendly. No major complaints about this store.

Johnathan is simply amazing! He works in Produce. He went above and beyond my needs and request for a catered order for my baby shower. I ordered a couple of fruit platters and the presentation was out of this world. He recommended fruit kabobs which was a hit! Easy access! And the fruit was delicious! If you are looking to cater an event small or big ask for Jonathan!

Want to give a huge shoutout to Jen from the bakery! She always hits the mark every time I’ve ordered a cake from her! Her cakes are awesome, and she really cares about the customers happiness!

Clean, helpful staff. However bagger placed potatoes with bread. If I wanted flat bread I would have bought plus putting poultry with vegetables not so good at all. Maybe management needs to give some training classes.

They had a crowd control system in place. Everyone wore masks and kept safety distance. Pleasant checkout.

Great selection of groceries. A lot of ethnic foods a lot more than any of the other stores in the area. I recommend this ShopRite over the one in Brookfield if youre interested in ethnic foods.

The produce was fresh and the variety was great. Same with general groceries amd international grocery options as well. The deli and the bakery were stocked and had a wide variety of breads and deli items. One of the better shop-rites Ive been to.Covid protocols were being followed and the lanes were properly marked. Although people dont care much about the direction arrows (same as all big stores).

Staff is beyond amazing, kind as can be and its nice to shop at places where the employees give off positive vibes. The hot bar is 🔥, the chicken and the Mac and cheese is as good as Ive had anywhere else. The bakery......A+ maybe the best part of the store.

Since Covid started I have been dealing with ShopRite of Danbury because they deliver to the car. I have nothing but good things to say about the staff, customer service, and availability and prices of product.As long as you shop the specials.Shopping online, presents some difficulty and a learning curve is needed. When I have questions I justcall the local number and customer service usually has an answer, saving a long wait from the home office.When I have a problem, to be expected, the staff is almost too nice.I would have to say that when I order online, the product they send is very comparable to what I would pick myself.When you order cold Cuts, you can pick the thickness of the slice within reason.I had a reservation last Friday to pick up, because of the storm, I asked them to change it to Saturday. Was not a problem.

Ordered from curbside pick-up. When you place your order it asks for any special instructions. Every time I have ordered fresh soy milk they give me shelf safe milk. I specifically said No shelf safe milk. But again they did not give me refrigerated milk. I ordered 24 sub rolls because we cook for the homeless this week. I clearly said to substitute because I had to have 24 rolls. Nothing. Out of stock. And out of stock on the ice cream and cantaloupes. Cantaloupes are you kidding? Both were on special. Im very disappointed. They could have texted or emailed me.

Clean store, well stocked considering the covid. Great cashier, a tall, handsome man with roots in India. He told me how to say his name but I forgot it already, even though I asked him.

I like Shoprite, but this particular one doesnt have much organic fruits and veggies. Ill go to this one in a pinch but prefer the one in Brookfield. Many more organic fruits and veggies.

They changed express check out to 15 items or less, so while I was waiting forever for a cashier, no one was in express. This made me late for an appointment. Hot dogs are over priced and pillsbury Christmas cookies. You can get them cheaper almost anywhere. Other than that, it was ok shopping. Seemed pretty clean.

I don’t know where shoprite get their watermelon but it is the absolute best 🙌🏿🙌🏿.. I tried buying from stop n shop and Costco and honestly I didn’t like it much so I tried shoprite . A lot of time their watermelon has seeds which is a bonus for me and the sweetness is incredible . I’m on a watermelon fast and their watermelon is amazing. Please don’t change your supplier. ❤️

If shopping here is wrong, then I dont want to ShopRite. With that said, Ive been shopping here since they took over after A&P couldnt keep it together. Staff is friendly, they used to even have a Bluecoat who looked like Danny Devito. Most likely he was promoted to the corporate office or rolled the dice on a move to Hollywood. The lighting here is phenomenal. Very few times that I can recall getting a shopping cart which had a bum wheel, as everyone knows that can ruin a shopping trip in itself.

People running the place are doing an excellent job. Its been clean, organized, and a cinch to navigate. Associates are pleasant and happy to help when you need it.

There are a good number of grocery stores in our area, but this ShopRite is hands-down the best of the bunch! The selection is amazing, store is clean and well stocked, and prices are fantastic! Even though there are several grocery stores that are closer to me than this one (one at the bottom of the hill where I live... I could walk there if I really wanted to), I will be making the not so bad 10-minute drive to shop here from now on! Highly recommended!

I am a longtime and loyal ShopRite customer who placed my 1st online order this weekend. Went to pick it up yesterday but only received 1/3 of the items. I was told: your order doesnt guarantee youll get everything, it just guarantees me a pickup time. Thats not an order, thats a reservation -- theres a difference ShopRite. Maybe you should rename yourself ShopWrong at this point. VERY DISAPPOINTING
