Huge selection of goodies. Place is way busy and waiting time is little bit but manageable. Compare to other store this place has more selection and always in for restock. Every single one I tired they were fresh and my kids loved it. Try it you wont regret it. I will be back with my kids and family.

This store is for the young people who have no health issues or do not mind to eat food that is high in sugar and low in nutritional value. It tastes good, of course. One wise man once said Anything that tastes good is very bad for you. He might be right. I wish this store sells at least a few healthy items. Also, some items seems a little bit overpriced. Otherwise, my experience is positive.

They finally had the brioche bread Ive been waiting for! So I bought 3! Service was fast and friendly and I was in and out.

I was introduced to 85 degree a while ago during a Gal Pal day B4 Covid. It’s the best Asian sweets I’ve ever had. It’s my #1 go to place for Asian sweets. No one else compares.However, I went looking for Moon Cakes. They didn’t have any. I was bummed off that.

Delicious buns (especially at the crack of dawn), good service, and good coffee. Plenty of plugs for those who need one for their laptop too! The guy at the register said its been slow since COVID. Please support them.

Rather disappointing. Been to other branches where the pastries are a hit. The consistency and quality at this branch leaves a lot to be desired. Has gone downhill. See pics. There is just no effort in quality control. The espresso buns were misshapen and many should be rejected. Their famous egg tarts... some burnt some undercooked. Taste was horrible. Hopefully they implement some improvement.

Its a pretty good place for quick pastries. The selection is big and service is quick. But prices and drinks could be better. The milk tea tastes a little fake, almost like Quickly, but more expensive. I just think if youre going to sell milk tea for $3, you should make it at least as good as local milk tea shops do.Also, the savory pastries could be hit or miss, but the sweet stuff is good. For example, the tuna and ham was almost flavorless, while taro bun was really delicious​.

Rating is for the bakery. Good Asian bakery with large selections of buns and cakes. They also serve boba tea drinks. Tried an iced green tea. Not a fan.

Honestly, the food and drink is fantastic, the prices are quite reasonable, but the consumption of single use plastic is truly outlandish. Individual plastic bags for each item, plastic cups, plastic straws, etc. Its just too much. Great place that could use a bit more corporate responsibility.

Pretty Pleasant staff really busy but moved quickly. My first time here and I was very pleasantly surprised. We ended up with a nice variety of baked goods but the sausage cheesy spicy bun thing was by far our favorite in fact we pre-ordered 10 of them for tomorrow. And The Salted strawberry green tea, so good! I would definitely recommend this place they have sweet and savory with more than reasonable pricing. That is sign that said they deliver to so check that out.

If you wanna order a birthday’s cake, don’t come here. My girlfriend’s birthday is today which is Friday. We came to this store on Wednesday to place an order for a birthday’s cake because we wanna make sure we could get the one we want on Friday. On Wednesday, they asked me what time I want to pick it up. I choose 10am. They did not ask me to pay for it. Then today I came on time at 10am to pick up my cake. They said they only have one which is paid by some else. If I want my cake, I need to wait a few hours. This is really awful experience I ever had on a birthday. It is a birthday’s cake. For you, it may just be a cake but it means a lot to us. If you guys don’t take reservation, tell your customers. If you guys need customers prepay for the order, tell them. If you guys just don’t take reservations or birthday’s cakes seriously, let your customers know. This is my last time to this store. Thanks for your effort to make a terrible beginning in someone’s birthday.

Clean seating area and good variety of pastries and desserts. Their drink menu is pretty good to.I prefer this location over the new stonestown location cause this place has more stuff.

Very conveniently open late into the evening this is a great place to get one of their sea salt coffee drinks that were so popular in Taiwan. The bakery section had gotten more mainstream over the last few years with their more exotic items disappearing from the menu but unlike many bakeries, all products are available even off hours so come when its not crowded.

Best taro tea in town.

The treats are delicious! Its a great place to go for a special treat. Be warned, the place gets crowded quickly! The only nitpick that took one star away... Not all of the treats were labeled a couple of the times we went which made it very confusing and hard to make decisions, which is kind of stressful when the place is crowded.

Freshly baked pastries and cakes everyday at 85 Degree Bakery Cafe. I love when theres a new batch of pastries right out of the oven. Warm, flaky, sweet or savory delight. I was here during the soft opening when it was super hectic and now, the hype has died down a bit. There are still many people that come here, especially from 12pm to evening. Prices vary from $1.00 to $3.50 for most of the pastries. The cakes vary between $20-$30 and the specialty drinks vary from $3.75 to $5.There are some tables in the dining area and a few tables on the side, inside of the mall (if that makes sense). Its normal for this bakery cafe to have long lines - it means the food and drinks are tasty! Free parking in the parking lot at Serramonte. I recommend parking near the Macys/JC Penney area because sometimes, the parking in front of 85 Degree Bakery Cafe fills up quick due to patrons heading to Starbucks, House of Chicken & Waffle, Buffalo Wild Wings, etc.

I would give them a 5 star but their public restroom has been out of order for the last 4-5 months! Always filthy too and smells bad. Why dont they take care of it? Why put a restroom?

Service kinda slow, but very courteous and helpful. One complaint: they changed clerks in the middle of my transaction and the young man seemed to not know what he was doing, at first, but after being reminded to read the receipt, I was able to complete my transaction.The food and desserts are awesome there. Must try, if youve got time, because its always busy and everything is fresh!

The employees were very rude. When I ordered my stuff and asked for a bag, the employee added the bag to the total but did not give me a bag. I waited there for a long time but no employee came until a lady gave me a bag. When I got my drinks, they forgot to put the sea salt on my green tea. I ordered a Black Sea salt with boba and green tea sea salt. The Sea salt overpowered the black a lot and the boba balls were way to soft. I would not recommend this place.

This location does not have the same quality as other locations that Id visited. For example, the floor is always sticky and the display case if always broken. The drinks (specifically coffee) is always watered down. The taste of their coffee is similar to McDonalds down the street.

Very friendly staff with a unique pick-your-own pastry system. Cool if you can find a spot to people watch, or to check out the bakery racks with goodies steaming out. Big fans of the choco bun, chocolate chip bowl, squid ink bun, brioche, and forget about it...the taro bun is my favorite. Go there, trip out and enjoy the flavors combined with their hot or cold drinks...they make it with care and attention 😊

Great pastry. Long line to wait for check out. I could finished everything on my tray while waiting in line. Coconut bread, garlic bread, and red bean paste bread can be very addictive. Going to check it out the Stonestowns store next time. Above was posted few months ago.Come to the same place today (June,2019) and ?? What happen ??Not that busy but the place is dirty, display sections is a mess, restroom is filthy (the Dyson air blower has a thick layer of sticky soap water worst than gas stations restroom). Mango bun, matcha bun, milk tea bun! Yum! I dont like the strong fake buttery taste of some of the other buns and I didnt think the cakes were really worth the calories but now I know to stick with what I like ;P

Taro latte very good.

Busy time when we went there but the staff had the service under control. We had the cold boba latte that was so refreshing! The pastries are addictive! Cant get too much from the selection or I may end up finishing them in one sitting! 😂

My favorite bakery. This place has such a long line but it goes by so quickly. There were a lot of people on Saturday. And they have sea salt drinks. This is a chain store.Their pastries are awesome.

Learning a routine is always exiting...I asked, how I should approach the pastries, to the vender that morning, and she graciously explained, the trays and tongs were customary and right away my mind drifted to a pastry wonderland of sweet and savory delights that were waiting for a new home. Choosing a mushroom cheese bread is a must for myself knowing that my choice in breads and veggies can collide in a dream come true...staying light hearted is whimsy, so my next pick was a hot dog bread...sugar delights were so tempting so my third pick resonated in a cheese bread. I slowly walked to the counter and to my surprise the affordableness was reasonable. My pastries were put in a container and life was innocently awaiting my first taste at my first meal of the day! Delicious! Worth all the anticipation. A very nice bakery. I would definitely return for a second visit when I return to the area.

Some good Taiwanese pastries. Little too crowded at times and hard to find a seat. Bit expensive. But seems to be a very popular places for most including families. Right on the mall so lots of traffic.

The baked goods I bought were still warm when I purchased them, but the cashier was kind of rude. She acted as though I was inconveniencing or interrupting her. She said thank you but was not sincere, and then just walked away. I would have given 5 stars but the cashier brought it down by not being friendly.

Totally dug this spot, was in the area for business tried an egg pastry a colleague gave me and it was awesome. Went the next day to the one in serramonte center, I like that you get a tray and tongs then walk around grabbing whatever pastries you want then you pay. Im going to eat breakfast there mañana

Nothing is helpfully labeled but everything is delicious so as long as you dont have any food allergies, I recommend just trying everything. The blended taro slushy is amazing.
