They responded to my emails after hours to set up the appointment, and get the work done extremely quickly, and for a fraction of the cost of the dealership. I cant recommend highly enough!

These guys are incredible.Our Audi Q7 needed new brakes. I called the dealership and they said (without looking at the car) it would need new brake pads and rotors. They quoted me $2700.We called Das and they quoted us close to half of that. When we brought our car in they called and said the back brakes were nearly new, the front brake pads only needed replacing, and the rotors were fine. Their honest work allowed us to spend about 15% of the quote from the dealership.Not only that— when we dropped off the car I mentioned my son had dropped a marble in a vent under the seat. It rolled around constantly. I asked if they could just take a look and give us a quote. The dealership said they would have to take off the seat of the car, the flooring, it would take a few days, and several thousand.When my husband paid he came back and tossed me the marble. I couldn’t believe it!! They were able to get the marble out and change the brake pads in a few hours on a Saturday. They didn’t even charge us for retrieving the marble, which seemed like the dealership was just trying to upsell us.So long as we are in the area, I will never trust my car in other hands. (Certainly not the dealership’s!) They we’re so kind and happy. Called us several times to update and let us know cost. Can’t say enough about this garage. Go, go, go and tell your friends!

Love these guys! Been taking my Elantra here for almost 5 years now. Quan is honest and up front and doesnt try to force you to do work that doesnt need to be done. All the work Ive done here has been done same day with the exception of one repair where the computer was giving them trouble but it was ready first thing the next morning. I used to live in the neighborhood, now Im in Oakland and its worth the trip over the bridge to bring my car over because I know that I will be treated fairly.

Quick, accurate and friendly. Worked with Lalo to get a used car inspected prior to purchase. Inspection cost $80 in March of 2021 and took less than a half an hour. We were able to walk in and get an inspection quickly.Will be back!

I reached out to them cold over Yelps built-in messenger when my car engine completely broke down and despite my not knowing much about cars, they were very responsive and understanding. They helped me realize that it didnt make sense to repair my busted engine (despite that it probably meant they werent going to make more money 💰) versus getting a new car and kindly held on to the car over the holidays while I figured out how to donate it. For example, they diligently check your vehicle both physical inspection visual inspection and via computer inspection. If your vehicle is in need of a major repair that will take days they give you a loaner at no cost. If you are uncertain if your vehicle is safe to drive they will drive with you on the freeway on the streets until you have peace of mind. I went to Das Auto Service, for the first time, back in August for a transmission flush. The quote I was given on the phone was the price I paid after the job was done. I met a few other customers while waiting for my car. One of them has been taking their car to Das Auto for about 5 years and there were no complaints. They are very happy with the shop. Im happy too. Ill be going back soon for some other work to be done. By the way, the employees that Ive spoken to at Das Auto seem happy. I think this says a lot about the owner. Also, I ask a lot of questions and these guys are kind and patient. That means a lot to me and will make me a repeat customer. Anyhow, Im looking forward to bringing my car back to them because I feel like it is in trusted hands.

They wanted $2,500 for a job that I found add another shop for 800 bucks. The job was done perfectly. They acted like they didnt even want to do the job but I got to give him Credit for saying he actually didnt want to do the job

Great service. Fast response for a quote on replacing a timing belt, water pump and tensioner. Nice price. Dropped the car off the next morning and they had me back out the door and on the road again in no time. I asked them to check my brakes also, which they did without charging me for it. Turned out I didnt need any brake work done at this time. It was nice where they didnt try to sell me an unneeded brake job. I needed to fix the loud noise at the back of my car whenever driving over a bump or rough road. After reading all the good reviews about DAS, I called the shop to set up an appointment and bring my car in for an inspection.The first impression I had was that the front desk person, Lalo, was very friendly and helpful. He always greets customers with a smile and is eager to help, either answer questions or provide information.When I brought my car in, Quan - the owner himself, met and tested driving my car with me. He suggested replacing the struts and gave me the quote with a very reasonable price for good quality parts (KYB). I planned to do the work with DAS right away, but could not do so due to a death in my family. After taking care of my family and about 1 month later, I finally had my car fixed at DAS. Quan still honored the quote and even dropped me off at the rental car nearby and promised me to have my car ready the next day.The following day Lalo called and let me know that they found that the sway bar links should be also replaced with an additional and reasonable cost. They wanted to make sure that I agreed and approved the work before proceeding. After our agreement, my car was ready to be picked up in the afternoon. This is very impressive and professional.The only thing that I found after picking up my car was the boot and bumpers were quite old and worn. Even though it wont affect the performance of the car much, I wanted them to be replaced if possible. Quan was very kind to offer to replace them without additional charge the next time I brought my car in. I found that Quan is very polite, kind and honest. Then I contacted DAS Auto Service after my wife raved about how they were honest and helped her save $$.I messaged them through Yelp and Quan responded within minutes. He was polite, clear and gave me a quote. I was able to book a next day appointment.At the service station, Lalo checked me in within minutes and had me out of the door within 9 minutes. I was told to expect a phone call late afternoon. Lalo honored the quote, no up-sells or high pressure sleaze.I inquired about changing spark plugs, which on a Prius is a pain to change. He gave me a fair price and a discount. I ended up saving a couple hundred bucks than other quotes and received my car on time. Disappointed, recently quoted me $600 for spark plug replacement. Sears charge $500 and Midas $430. They used to be lower and itemized work. Not anymore. Maybe their mechanic now dictate how much to charge. Will now be last on my list. Costumer for 5 years. Dont know what happen.

Excellent customer service! Our first experience with Das was when the transmission went out on my moms 1999 VW Jetta. The tow guy recommended them and told us that Quan was the guy to talk to bc he is so knowledgeable about VWs. They fixed it pretty quickly and charged us way less than the dealership wouldve and assured us that if anything went wrong with it within a year or so (it was so long ago that i cant remember the time frame exactly) we could take it back to get fixed. More than two years, a few oil changes, a fixed radiator, replacement windshield wiper motor, and a few other misc. auto services later, and the transmission is still going strong. They have given my family the best CS over the years. Lalo has driven my mom home after dropping (whichever of our cars that needed service) off at the shop if none of us couldnt go with her. Also, he has picked her up when the car was done. Sal is excellent at the front desk, always smiling and happy to b there. Lalo, Sal, and Quan have always been so accommodating, really listening to our car concerns and responding and coming up with straight-forward remedies that they explain so u know exactly whats up. They dont belittle u nor try to add any additional expenses (unless they see something legitimately wrong that could go bad in the near future but not push u right then to get it fixed--i.e. they alert u what to look for so u can take it in BEFORE u r left stranded waiting for the tow truck) and really make an effort to find the best solutions to fix ur car properly.Sometimes they r way busy bc they have a lot of satisfied customers, but if they arent swamped, they will get ur car back to u sometimes more quickly than ud expect. The guys r really friendly, happy, FOR REAL good people with an awesome, honest, strong work ethic. Well be going to Das as long as Quan is there FOR SURE. Given theyre not too busy, they go out of their way to accommodate you. Dont expect a polished, dealership service (e.g. interior covers, typed printout of services rendered), but do expect trustworthy, honest people who do good work at very reasonable prices.

Wanted to replace my accessory belt. Toyota said $450. DAS said less than half that. Turns out the water pump was bad and a pulley for the timing chain. Called my buddy at a different Toyota dealer to quote me their price. $1800. DAS was less than half that. Called around, they were competitively priced. BUT! Everywhere else was 1-2 weeks turnaround. They surprised me when they called hours later to let me know it was ready. Even at Toyota prices, turnaround time was a few days. I was impressed. This is my new repair shop.

This is a great place to get your car repaired. They are very professional. I provided all the parts for 60k service and their labor costs was $90.

My car needed a new front axel and the team here took care of it! A couple of months later my car wouldn’t move more than a few feet. We thought it was the axel so I called ahead and had my car towed to Das Auto. The guys took a look and it turned out to be my transmission! Great affirmation the job they did on the axel was perfect but bummer about needing a new transmission. They quoted me on it but luckily my cars transmission was under warranty so I had to have it towed, again to the nearest dealership. The guys were so kind and patient as I worked out a day I could come and coordinate the move. If we didn’t have the warranty, there is no doubt we’d ask Das Auto to take care of us and our car.

I came here after my tire shop said I need to spend $600 and must replace all my TPMS sensors. Not only did these guys tell me I didnt have to do that they were honest with me about what the problem is and what I need to do to get it fixed. I appreciate honesty when I get my car fixed. Sadly I dont see that a lot any more. I rather have these guys fix my car because I know they care about customer service and not making a buck. Im getting my car fixed with these guys from now on.

These guys have done a great job of taking care of our 2004 325Ci. They are prompt, efficient and have extremely reasonable prices. The couple of times they dealt with my wife she commented that she felt like theyd explained things clearly and intelligently - no pandering or double talk that can be associated with auto repair shops. Weve never had any issues with the quality of the significant amount of work theyve done for us.Hopefully our car wont need more work but thats not realistic so we will definitely be going back. Ask for Oscar - hes good people.(P.S. - dont let the crowded exterior of the small shop they have fool you. They do good work inside.)

Quan was really knowledgeable and helpful. He knew the differences between an N51 and N52 engine, and not even dealership service advisors know what those designations refer to. Do not go to these crooks. They used my car to pick up car parts without my consent. Waited for almost an hour for them to return my car from their test drive. Caught the mech getting out of my car with another custmers car parts in his hands. The guy Oscar is a fake.
