I stopped by here with some friends after a meeting on accident and it was such a pleasant experience. we came right before the kitchen closed, so two of my friends had a meal. i wasnt hungry so i just got some wine and the server (Habier) was incredibly knowledgeable about everything on the menu. he offered me tasters that helped me make my decision, i ended up getting the Puleo Pinot Grigio and it tastes PHENOMENAL. the ambience is beautiful. i cant wait to come back here!

We found this place by just browsing this area. It’s a restaurant hidden inside a market. We picked out a ribeye and bought it for $28, and they cooked it on the spot for us. It came out better than most stake I ate at “stake” restaurants. We also got the bread and calamari appetizers, they were excellent.I think the best part about this “restaurant” was the patio seating. In this day in age, we need a place like this.

Cibo Divino is Italian for Divine Foods.DANIELE PULEO, founder, is as enthusiastic as you will be when you enjoy the specialty Italian fare at Cibo Divino. Pizza, Pasta, Salads are marvelous with obvious fresh ingredients. You will experience something special as you browse the aisles of wine or as you watch Chef moving to and fro around the wood fired oven.Indoor seating is spacious and outdoor seating is comfortable. The feel is anywhere between upper casual to slightly romantic. There is even space for the kids outdoor on the lawn area.Highly recommended.

We live in the neighborhood, so we decided it was time to take a stroll and check this place out. Well, it definitely delivered. My fiance and I got pasta, meatballs, and we were definitely pleased with the quality of the pasta and meat. The only thing is that their sauces are one note, and that was a little disappointing. Besides asking for a bit of basil, everything was perfect. Every staff member was amazing. They recommend the perfect wine and even told us about pizza night. Well definitely come here again!

OMG the gnocchi is what I order every single time and it is phenomenal! They are so tender and not mushy or slimy but perfectly cooked. They pair it with a creamy cheese sauce, then add prosciutto and walnuts and it is just so good. I dont know where the chefs trained or if they just know how to do their job or both. This is the best gnocchi I have ever had and will continue to order from them!

Update - finally received a credit for the bad wine, so I changed from 2* to 4*. Too bad they couldnt address it immediately so that I could have taken home a better wine that night.Original Post:Bad wine experience.First, they do have great pizzas that alone would get higher stars.Bought a wine with a take-out order. Counter help was clueless about wine. Got home to discover the wine to be faulted with brettanomyces and was bad.. Took it back, but they refused to give a refund, even on a wine that was undrinkable (and in spite of me ready to buy another wine).Disappointed and likely will never return.

I was simply disappointed in pizza quality. The two stars are for accommodating our large family after a funeral. Our pizza was well below worthy of the $17 price tag. A family member ordered the steak and it looked fantastic, however. The staff were nice, but nothing to rave about. The atmosphere was very chic and the wine was decently priced. Overall however, the pizza quality is what hit us for the low rating.. Head 10 minutes over to Pie Tap in the Design District for much better quality with same price and atmosphere.

I dont know what to think about this place. Its a cool concept but has some flaws that keep me from loving it.Positives - Cool concept and atmosphere. Classy and good but not amazing quality. Im not disappointed by the food...but neither am I like wow, this food is amazing. The pizzas at Pie Tap for example nearby are much better tasting and other pasta dishes some places are better.Overall, It is a good mix of an Italian mini-market concept. The setup of the place was better originally when they opened up. Originally you ordered pizza in one place, deli in another, bar in a 3rd and dessert at a 4th. Now everything is streamlined where you order everything in one place. I prefer the old setup but understand why they changed for efficiency.Negatives - Portions are too small overall especially if you are a guy. Prices are $3-5 more than expected on most items. If you are a guy the dinner portion will not be enough food and they dont let you add extra noodles to pasta dishes. Im usually still hungry after ordering and have to order extra flatbread to not leave still hungry. Also, they are still requiring masks after the Texas mask mandate has lifted....I prefer to boycott places still requiring masks so I wont be returning until they make masks optional.

Ordered the Mezzelune and Charcuterie platter w/ a glass of the house Chianti. Charcuterie platter came out first without any silverware or glasses for water. Had to get up and ask around to figure out that you needed to ask the bartender for a cup of water and plastic silverware at the bar. Sat back down to realize the charcuterie plate ($22) was a selection of Costcos pre-packaged meats and cheeses with a drizzle of balsalmic on the side. Incredibly mediocre. Chianti was bland as well. Pasta was ok looking across the table at the Cavatelli left me without desire to ever step foot in here again. Nothing was worth the price tag. Two stars

I used to live over in the area and went here often with my wife. Went today and was disappointed beyond belief. Customer service was mediocre at best. The cashier hardly said a word and only acknowledge us with a slight smile to let me know she was ready to take our order. I ordered 2 meat sandwiches with my wife’s order of pizza. They brought the pizza out. I said asked if they were going to bring the sandwiches out soon? He said yes. I walked over after waiting 6 minutes and he said it will be ready soon. I only asked because I saw 2 sandwiches sitting on the counter and asked if they were the 2 meat sandwiches I had ordered. He said oh okay you got 2 meat sandwiches I replied yes and went and sat down. They then brought me 1 meat sandwich and an all tomato and cheese. This place was great when it was first established but I can promise you the customer service is no longer the same.
