Great service and great customer service all around. Troy the technician was freaking awesome, he explained everything while doing his work. Troy came in not trying to sale anything accept what we needed to get a/c back into our house! I asked what a new unit would cost and he got me a price fast. Thanks guys with all the help and how fast y’all got out to fix my a/c.

I had an issue where my AC was not working and my home warranty company assigned the service request to Master Tech Service Corp. The technician, Justin, came out on a Saturday and was professional and did his best to identify the issue. He diagnosed it and said they would send me an estimate and schedule another appointment perform the repairs.Thats about where the good part ended. When I followed up on Monday, Robin at the office said that the service request was closed since they diagnosed it and thats all they are responsible for. If I wanted them to come back out Id have to contact my warranty company and ask them to re-open the case. After speaking with my warranty company, they informed that the diagnosis that they gave me should be covered, but they needed to wait for an official report from the technician.I spoke with Robin a couple times and each time she kept saying they arent responsible for anything but diagnosing the issue and that she would call me back once she spoke with the technician for an official report. I never got a call back. Eventually, by day 6 of not having AC in 95+ degree weather, I had to call another company to come out and pay out of pocket. They were able to get there the same day, find the issue and fix it on the same visit. It was not something as complex as Master Tech diagnosed it as and would have been covered if I was able to use my warranty instead of contacting a separate company.When I called to cancel the service request, the warranty company informed me that they reported the issue as something else that they offered to do while here, but not related to the cause of the AC not working or what they told me the problem was.I would _never_ do business with this company, and would immediately request that any service requests dispatched to them by my warranty company be reassigned.

Recently needed to change out downstairs AC unit as it was 20+ years old as well as loud and inefficient. Master Tech did a wonderful job. Unlike some other contractors, they are really good about notifications when they are on the way, arriving, and following up with clear communication. I will continue using them in the future.

The service tech and customer service was great but getting appointment wasnt satisfactory both of my bathrooms was totally backed up and this was on a Friday and couldnt get them out until Wednesday so I end up calling another plumbing company and kept my Wednesday appointment for them to fix my bathtub drain which they had to come back because of parts so they made another appointment for Tuesday 6days later so time is not a factor.But service was A1 I would use them again I just wish they get better on getting to the job

SCAM ALERT - This company was sent by First American home warranty to replace our 40 gallon hot water heater. When they told us retail customers take priority and they couldnt come out until the following week was first negative. When they wanted to charge over $1,000 ADDITIONAL to what FA was paying, we asked for the details on why the extra charges. NO RESPONSE when we asked for BASIC details such as make/model to justify the expense. They would not even respond to FA to provide that information. All they would tell them was its a package price for everything.After 2 weeks of no response we chose the minimum cash out option with FA and we have been waiting over a month to get our payment. Found out today payment was cancelled because MasterTech would not even confirm any charges or replacement requirements with FA. EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!For reference: Comparable hot water heaters at HD cost $379 - $429.Cannot recommend and this is my second ever 1 star review. Sorry...

BEWARE!!Check out their Yelp reviews also. 2 stars...They tried to lie to us to say that we need a new entire AC unit when only a few parts needed to be fixed.What they will do is tell you that you need to replace your ENTIRE AC UNIT even if it is only 3 years old to make money off of you.Look at all the 1 star reviews and pay close attention. Shelby, with an attitude, kept on saying they were going to get the part ordered, Work order submitted etc but nothing was done. Horrible customer service and no follow up.Their tech guy couldnt even send paperwork to our warranty company and then finally after the 3rd day they gave an excuse of he is sick. Lol. No more excuses guys.. get your work done.. SMH.They will try to convince you to spend thousand of dollars when you only need certain parts repaired. The fan motor on our ac was making noise, a bearing was going out. Our home warranty company referred Mastertech and when Justin came out, it was not making a noise so there was nothing he could do. He said he would order the part so he would have it when it did go out. It went out completely 3 days later. When Justin came back out he told us the part was not ordered and it would take 2-3 days. I called on the 4th day to be told that it would take 5-7 business days. We have now been without ac for over a week, with dangerous heat and my 88 year old mother living with us. We have been staying with family and friends. My low rating is based on the lies and misinformation. I honestly can’t comment on the quality of the work since the repairs have yet to be completed. I received a call this morning asking me to take down my review if they expedited the order. We called Metro Energy Savers this morning. They are making repairs now. I would recommend Metro Energy. We were not treated with respect since this was a home warranty claim.

Master Tech was extremely professional from the initial appointment through the timeliness and knowledge of the technician. Had used them previously to install two water heaters and bypassed American Home Shield’s preferred installer to use them again. The price that Master Tech offered for the job was $600 less than that of the AHS vendor and I would speculate to say the quality of their work was superior based on my previous experience.

Only used Mastertech because of my home warranty First American chose them. Techs are NOT interested in fixing your a/c but selling you a brand new unit. 1st time they put freon (even though I had a leck) in the unit said everything looked fine. 2nd time the tech could not fix the inside ac unit until the tiny small mold was removed. Tech told me it was the evaporator coil and once the mold was removed it can be replaced. Ok had that done. 3rd tech came out said I needed a new outside unit and not the inside. He tried selling me brand new outside and inside unit. Way too many inconsistencies with this company. I decided Not to use them.

We called Master Tech when our washer pipe blew out during the recent bad weather experience. They were able to get to us same day and Andrew showed up right in the window we were told. He was polite and fixed our problem promptly. He was very professional, dressed well, wore booties over his shoes so he didn’t get snow all over the house and wore a mask while he was working. I would call them again and recommend them highly.

I requested service on Friday 10/16 to connect my washer and dryer.PROS: Justin is very good and very courteous. He came promptly and was excellentCONS: The cost to just connect my washer and dryer was highly exorbitant. The service fee of $75 plus a charge of $125 for a total of $200 was absolutely outlandish. I provided all parts so there was no charge for parts. And I was expecting that $75 would be used as a service fee applied to the service. If they had charged me $75 plus 50 I would not have complained but $200 for a connection is outright exorbitant. I had a few other items that were required and took estimates but stopped at this one service as I have used good plumbers in the past and know the charges that are considered normal. I used Master Tech because my parents use them often and have never felt that the charges are above and beyond. This was a shocking amount.

I strongly recommend Master Tech for central unit maintenance and installation services. They provide top of the line service and they work as a great team. Also their prices on their services is really great deals. Derek from Master Tech provided me if full detail information about the new installation and he was real helpful when I had questions about the services. Again I strongly recommend this company. 10/10

Master Tech has been to my home twice to check two different units. Unfortunately, each time they spent a few minutes looking at my systems and immediately launched into a sales pitch to buy a new unit from them, with 0% finance charges because theyre so caring. They also bad mouth the warranty company who sent them out (mind you this was six years apart and two different technicians). On the first account, I was told the warranty would cover the outside unit, but not the air handler. I foolishly believed him, but went with a different company to provide a new system. I soon learned from the warranty company that they would have provided whatever it took to repair the system, and they reimbursed me for a small portion of the overall cost. Recently, they were dispatched for a separate unit I have on my home. Once again the tech bad-mouthed the warranty company and said they would only provide junk if they replaced it. He then went on about cut wires and he wasnt sure if the warranty would cover, but they would happily sale me a new system with no finance charges and a military discount. I told him I wasnt interested and would use someone else if the warranty company couldnt help. He told me he was going to order a new kickstart and would see me in a few days. Thirty minutes later, I received a call from the warranty company stating they wouldnt cover the unit as wires were cut (for the kickstart whick isnt necessarily needed) and it was also missing a capacitor. I questioned how this was possible, and the warranty company stated the tech had sent pictures and they were taking his word on it. I questioned how the unit would have ever worked without a capacitor and they said they had no idea and were just as confused, but they had to believe what the tech reported. I was told I could call a service company of my choice and they would possibly send Master Tech back out and anything different was found. I informed the warranty company that Master Tech would not be allowed to touch my equipment again. I called another company who found the capacitor to be intact (of course) and no damaged wires (only a prewire for a kickstart). The unit was repaired and has worked throughout the summer. Unfortunately, my neighbor had the exact same warranty company dispatch Master Tech who also gave him the same run around and lied to his wife about wiring. She ordered a new unit from them, but he was able to get another company out to repair and is currently disputing the claim and going the lawyer route.

At the advice of a friend we contacted Master Tech to do our Spring tune-up and check of our heating/AC. From the first call we were impressed and we were given an appointment time immediately. We were given a window of time that was only 3 hours and today we got a message from the tech giving us the time he would be arriving. Working from home right now this was helpful and he was here within 2 minutes of the time on the text. Edward showed up at my door and greeted me professionally and began his service. He was dressed nicely, was clean, and he was very polite. Given the current world climate he was wearing a mask and booties and practiced social distancing. I was able to continue on with my work while he completed the service call and he was very patient and waited until I was able to finish before reviewing his findings with me.Edward presented me with a quote for simply what needed to be done but also included a quote for new units in case we happened to be at a place where we were able to or wanted to replace them. He made sure to tell me that new units were not needed but that he likes to provide the information. I appreciated his honesty and also appreciate knowing what it might cost if I were to make that decision. He showed me photos of the few things he discovered that do need to be fixed and explained to me why. He also didnt seem the least bit bothered when I explained that he most likely would need to explain it again to my husband.In 30 years Ive interacted with many AC repairmen but Edward was by far the best Ive encountered. I will definitely do business with Master Tech and will recommend them to all my friends and neighbors.

This is the most professional and nice company I ever met. After almost being ripped off by several others, Master Tech gave us a good price and excellent service. I know it sounds cheesy but I am just so mad at companies trying to rip off normal people who just try to make a living.

After less than 24 hours of a freeze break after going 3 days without electricity during Snovid21, Master Tech had his team on site and worked into the evening to repair our leak so we could have water service again. Master Tech is a blessing to our community and does great work for a great price.

The team at MasterTech is amazing. I had an issue with my water heater regarding the pilot light. I received a full evaluation from a highly trained professional who recommended a replacement rather than a complicated fix due to the age(17 years). The team arrived the very next day on time, all wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, and installed my water heaters in the allotted time frame. They cleaned everything up and left no residual material. They also have very competitive pricing compared to all of the other local companies. Overall, a great experience.

I recently switched to Master Tech upon the recommendation of a business client. Thus far they have been to my home twice and performed winter and summer preventative maintenance. The technician was very polite, punctual, and knowledge each time he was out. I enjoy that I feel appreciated by them thus far as opposed to my previous service companies who became less small business and more corporate entity.Updated 3/6/21:We had found some non-urgent plumbing issues as a result of the February freeze. Master Tech was able to schedule us an appointment quickly and Andrew was able to quickly ascertain our issue. We are extremely thankful for the HVAC and plumbing services that Master Tech has provided to us.

They did a complete install at my home. Return air supply was left to small. Called them back out after noticing the AC was running way more than my old unit. Told them my return supply was to small and the issue wasn’t fixed. Their solution was to change the speed of the ac blower motor. My AC is still running way to often!

My husband and I are extremely pleased with Master Tech, as they recently replaced our three HVAC systems. They were on time and very professional. There were issues with two of the systems after they were installed, but the owner and one of the technicians resolved the issues very quickly. We look forward to working with Master Tech to service the systems. We recommend the company and the staff!

The technician was very good, he explained everything he was doing, and answered followup questions. The only downside is that the price was high - $340 for a little less than 2 hours of work (no parts or supplies except 1 coupling). I had a variety of small tasks, and the bill was itemized for each thing instead of charging for parts+labor which seems like it would have been more fair.

He informed me that he had been doing this type of work for years, and his experience was on full display. My master bathroom sink was backed up which my AC drains into. I had no AC for three days. It took David less than 45 minutes to fix the problem which was very tedious and required extra effort. I’m so thankful for his expertise and professionalism to fix the job right and restore my AC and personal comfort. It’s hot in Texas in late August and I’m grateful that it’s fixed properly.

We just moved here from FL and we weren’t sure who to call .... we chose another Dallas plumber first. They thought they would have to cut a hole in the bead board behind the toilet, redo some piping behind the wall, etc to fix a toilet leak. We called these guys for a second opinion. They just had to change a flange at the wall —- no cutting, no pipe rework. Jon was our tech and he is intelligent, professional, and knowledgeable. We called back to have a toilet replaced at a later date, and asked for Jon specifically. Excellent experience all the way around. I also love that they send text messages about arrival times and have a tracking map to see exactly where the tech is and when they will be there.

David was visiting us out of state and my garbage disposal was old and not working. He offered to replace the unit after we bought one we wanted. His service was quick and efficient. He actually not only cleaned up his mess but cleaned my sink also. Would I hire him for future jobs? Yes, in fact I would probably pay for an airline ticket to fly him here. Not only is he a good worker but also easy to talk to as he explained what he would be doing. Keep up the good work Dave.

Turned out to be water overflowing from a busted pipe that was leaking from a hole in the wall and spill onto the floor directly under my washer. Filed a claim through my warranty company, who assigned Master Tech Service Corp. Great service, prompt, fixed the problem and were in and out. No more leaks.

They collude with the home warranty company to price gouge any major repairs that are needed. They refuse to provide an itemized scope of work or uncovered repairs. Their goal will probably be to sell you an overpriced HVAC system. Im faced with either filing a lawsuit against this company and my home warranty company or simply putting this nightmare experience behind me and cutting my losses. Do business with them at your peril!

I called my how warranty company on Sunday and the ticket was assigned to Master Tech.First thing Monday morning, I got a call got scheduled for 4-7 pm window. The email that was sent had a legalese about exclusions and I was a bit weary. In the past I have had the techs scheduled through warranty company come late, non-responsive, and look to upsell. I have had one wanting to sell an AC unit for $3,000 when the issue was a $20 retail value capacitor.Not this time; the tech came in changed the capacitor, checked pressure, collected the deductible, and was gone in a very short time.Punctual, Professional, and issue resolved.

She very quickly got me put on the schedule and had a technician out the same day. The plumber that came out to my house was Justin and he was very knowledgeable and informative. We had a great experience with Derek from Master Tech. He fixed our problem and showed us options for a new system which is much needed. He was knowledgeable and every question I had he had answer for and even took time to double check some other questions with another tech. I had him out to fix one unit and got information on another. I would request him if we had another issue come up and I would recommend y’all to do the same. We will use them to upgrade our system eventually

She was able to provide multiple solutions to fit my budget and rectify the system failures. The techs were clean and professional and had great attitudes. They have earned my business for life. I have used them in my current home, I have these guys lined up to do an install of a new system as soon as I close on my new home, and I have had multiple friends and family use them for new systems and maintenance ! I had an issue where I had snagged the wire off my AC unit weed eating! Ryan from master tech came out withing two hours, fixed the wire and even rerouted it to where it wouldnt happen again. Super professional, fast and courteous service! Ryan gives master tech a great name and I will be referring their services to others!

I had them install a new hvac system. I got what I felt was a fair price, and they did a great job. Anytime I have concerns they’ve come out and checked it out for me quickly, and it’s been covered under their warranty service. Five star service as far as I’m concerned.
