I was so many decades behind in car stereo equipment but DJ and the man who installed on what equipment I could use in my 2009 mustang before heading out on a 2600 mile round trip was very helpful. I had to come back the next day for them to help me put and they were great. I have another mustang that is only going to this crew. Im sorry I forgot the name of the installer but he was so above board. I ?am really happy with this team. And the pricing and service are heads up above the rest

I walked into Car toys after I was turned away by the Nissan dealership because supposedly they did not have time to diagnose my car radio. I was greeted by the entire staff they made me feel welcomed. Johnny was the name of my sales representative and he explained every step of the process to me and showed me the pros and cons of each radio so I can make an informed decision. I am very pleased with the installation and the overall service I received I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to replace or upgrade anything in your car. The store I visited should have more of a scheduling system when it comes to having something installed. I got a stereo with a free install offer and ended up installing it myself because they wanted me to just drop my car off with being able to give me a time it would be finished.

I bought Alpine stereo speakers for my car and appointment was set up for Sunday @ 10am. Sales guy said it would take a couple of hours, so my day was planned accordingly. Well, little did I know he scheduled me and who knows how many other people at 10am on Sunday, so when we arrived, there were already people in line for installations at 10am. I wait in line and finally get to the register to let them know I was here to drop off my car for stereo installation, in which I was responded with let me see if we have your stereo selection in stock. Gentleman comes back and said that they only had one Alpine in stock and it was being installed in the couple before me SUV, but that he had Infinity speakers that were equivalent to Alpine that he could install. I was not happy with this. I felt like I was baited and switched. Why would the sales rep sell me speakers that were not in stock to begin with? The same sales rep didnt save my installation appointment in the system, either, (according to the gentleman helping me) so guess what, I was pushed to the end of the day installation, and what was supposed to be a couple hour job from 10am turned into an all day affair, which threw off all the arrangements that I had because I was thinking I would have my car back by 1pm/2pm. I didnt get my car back until 4pm. I know that installations take time and times are always estimated and I am fine with leaving my car all day, as long as I was properly quoted to begin with. I had also ask to keep my old speakers, but they were not given back. This was my second visit to CarToys, and honestly it left much to be desired. The only reason I gave a 2 star is because the sound system installed sounds great.

Car Toys is normally, good but this location,salesman arent familiar with the product they are selling often conveying the wrong info. about a product that a customer may ask about.

Overall good customer service, nice guys. The waiting area leaves a lot to be desired. I was having a stereo installed and the wait is several hours, seemed to be the same for other customers as well. The waiting area is in a back corner and theres 3 chairs that would be fine if you were only waiting 20-30 minutes. Oh and theres a water dispenser and overpriced vending machine. How about some kushy reclining chairs, coffee and hot chocolate and maybe a popcorn machine?Theres some good deals to be had, especially in the front open box window case.Two other things, getting into the parking lot is kind of weird so beware of the Google directions it takes you all the way around back way in through a car dealership and it starts to feel like over the river and through the woods to grandmothers house we go... Just pull up the map and get a good look at it.The other thing is when theyre slow they need to go outside and pick up trash I posted some pictures of the garbage all around it was even worse on the street side of the landscaping. I realize its not their fault but its really gross, theres garbage all over the place in the parking lot and in the landscaping so maybe a little pride in presentation

He took the time to explain audio systems, which I appreciate, not each shop takes the time to do so. Service/installation guy was also thorough in explaining the service he was providing. Got some doors speakers put in my challenger and not only did they not know what they were doing, when i went back to get it fixed i had a hard time getting them to redo it. and once agree they told me my door speakers weren’t messed up, yet here i am today needing them replaced. 10/10 would not recommend getting any sound system of any sort set up at this location!

They saved the day for me. I rely on my car for work and when my cigarette lighter went out I went by and they were able to fix them and get me back out there making money in no time. I definitely will be back for other services in the future.

Everyone here greeted me as I walked in. What I love most is that they have my main man Paul Ricks there to hookup the car stereos. He is the best at it. Very unprofessional do not go here for car audio installations, one of the caucasian audio technicians had an attitude with me because I had parked my car behind their garage for an appointment, instead of parking it in the parking lot. Furthermore, after getting my sound system installed, it was my 2nd visit to the shop, and I had an issue with my amp fuse cause it had blown and my subwoofers would not turn on. They installed a reset inline fuse holder which had a 150 amp fuse and 3 weeks after playing music in my car. My amp fuse blown but i had the luxury of resetting it easily with a reset switch, but now when I use the reset switch my amp just consistently blows turning off my subwoofers . And now of today my brand new subwoofers are damaged, my head unit does not work and Im 600$ in debt thanks to this place, I try to call them up about the issue and all they want me to do is drive my car up to their shop to do a diagnostics {which they charge for}. PLEASE I ADVISE YOU GO SOMEWHERE MORE PROFESSIONAL!!!

I know I am young, 23 to be exact but I usually get talked down to for some reason by a lot of people. That was part of my experience at Car Toys as my first time going. There was an older African American gentleman with a bald cut who was slightly disrespectful with how he spoke to me and I didn’t appreciate it. I didn’t come in wanted to be talked any higher or less than what respect is.

We can’t thank Darrell, Robert, and Danny enough for taking care of us! Our 17 year bought a system online and Car Toys worked their magic and go it installed. Professional, fair and good customer service. Next time we will buy the system from Car Toys to make things simpler.

The staff was great! Helped me pick out the exact sound that I was looking for, not too much & not too little but a nice blend or girl beat as I like to call it. They answered all my questions even the ones I didnt ask. Very knowledgeable about the different brands & quality of sound. FYI: incase youre curious about JL Audio its so worth it! I went to this store having not purchased any car audio equipment in 20 years. I told them I needed their advice on how to get what I wanted out of my sound system. I have them my budget and they worked to get me a system that matched my wants as close to my budget as possible. They have very easy payment plans and Johnny, the assistant manager reviewed my purchase before I finalized and was able to recommend a valuable upgrade. My truck sounds awesome and I got exactly what I wanted. Thanks guys for your help and for teaching me a few things too!

Cartoys was good, They were pricey as hell. But the servive was good. Since then my alarm has worked off and on. After this I will not be back to car toys.

They guys in there were very nice. They greeted us when we walked in the door and answered all the questions I had.

Install took 3 hours, the amplifier was not secured to anything and using only one screw. Not impressed with placement under the passenger side seat. The money paid install couldve been much better. Going to look around next time. 1100.00 bucks not well spent. Live and learn.

Another successful headlight restoration

Looked everywhere for a reputable installation location that would install an aftermarket liftgate kit on our Kia Sorento. Contacted Car Toys Dallas and they put me in touch with their commercial account manager, Johnnie French. What a great guy to talk to - very personable and he was able to locate an Voxx kit and have it shipped to the store within the week and set up an installation appointment to have it installed first thing on Black Friday. When I arrived on Friday, he was there to greet me - I initialed and signed the install order and 3 hours later it was ready to go. And, thanks to the expertise of our installer, Paul Ricks, it works like a champ. My bride is thrilled with the newly installed electronic liftgate. Thanks to Johnnie and Paul for a job well done! I would highly recommend the team at Car Toys Dallas for all things electronic for your automobile - if you are at all like me really, really want it done right the first time.

Today was a good day for me, because i when in Car Toys Stereo and learn these guys are awesome and they know stuff. David is the installers and Rob is the store manager, what I learn that they took there TIME explaining each items that I purchased and installed. David came out to my truck with me and show me in step by step HOW to work my dash and rear view camera to my truck and was very detail in how it work. And I purchase an alarm for my truck as well.Why I am giving this location a 5 FIVE ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ these guys know there stuff.

Excellent customer service, stopped in to get a quote to install a new stereo compatible with my full dressed Harley. All the staff were very polite, courteous an exceptionally helpful. However I did suffer Sticker shock from the itemized list. $900 total for A $200 stereo installation with new speakers and the Harley adapter kit plus warranty. Just not in my budget.

This was my first trip to Car Toys and the salesman was very helpful in answering all my questions. He was friendly and professional. I wanted to surprise my husband with a instant Starter for his car....it will be later installed. Overall great experience!

The sales reps are amazing when it comes to being knowledgeable, friendly, and very efficient. I’ve been to other Car Toys and didn’t get close to the service I get at the Wheatland store. I won’t go anywhere else when it comes to upgrades on my vehicles. I recommend this specific Car Toys to everyone that ask where I got my upgrades at.

After going to another place which drug on for weeks I went to these guys and they installed a new stereo. I waited for the job o get done and have not had any problems. they did a good job.

Robert and his staff as awesome. He sold me the perfect radio the installation was beautiful. His car installer Paul made my interior look amazing. They even restored my headlights and David did a fantastic job. My car looks brand new. I really recommend this store they did great work.

Customer Service was on point from the time I walked in until the time I walked out. The work I had done happened in a timely fashion and was satisfactory.

Customer service is good, they know their products, installer needed more wire to complete install (10ft) , after I payed in full, manager didn’t charge me more, due to the misquote of the installer. All in all, good experience, good attitudes, would like to see more brands to choose from.Asked the installer if he could make shift a bracket to hold the speaker and did so, Love the fact they talk to you as a person, and not just an other client.Installers very engaging, making sure it’s to YOUR liking, not theirs.

Absolutely nothing for me. Ordered WeatherTech products through your store and after 33 days finally received a refund because the products ordered was never received. I will never use your stores again and will adamantly discourage others from use.

I bought an Apple play radio from the team at the Westmorland location and they were great! First, after letting Rob know what features I wanted, he showed me two radios that met my specifications. Next I was introduced to David, the installer. Together they detailed the install and options. It took about a week for the parts to come in and then the radio was installed the next day after the parts were delivered. After the install, David went over the radio features and how to use them. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase, the install and the customer service.

Let me start by saying for my first time experience i was blown away on how clean and organized the duncanville store is. Installer Paul took my old Nissan and put some good sound to it and he also did one clean and neat install on the truck i was happy i found a place where people take there time and do the job right.. the prices for everything i needed was very fair and affordable and i will be coming back for future installs and rewires on many of my cars overall i think this is a good place to get your systems installed and done.

It cost more to put my equipment in than to buy it. Was not expecting a 300 dollar install bill. If I knew that I would have never came there.
