I had the best Nordstrom bridal suite experience! I purchased my dress last May and Cindy kept in touch giving me updates on the status of my dress. Every fitting and dress visit we had always started on time and they were ready for us upon arriving. The alterations team really know how to make a dress fit and will work on it until it fits perfectly. I would recommended having a different tailor look at the dress after the first fitting in case they see something differently always helps to have to sets of eyes on your dress. Cindy was awesome to work with and I will miss my Sunday afternoon visits to Nordstrom’s.

Very disappointed with the experience we had with the Wedding Suite staff. Wish I would have talked to a MIC while visiting Dallas. The main purpose of our trip was to find a wedding dress for my daughter and the staff obviously had no interest in our business. Also, I don’t understand why dresses that are advertised on the Nordstrom site are not available in the store.Loved Ember in the makeup department (Charlotte Tilbury)! She was so personable and very informative. I hope to see her during my next trip to Dallas. Karen in the jewelry department was amazing! Very helpful with helping my daughter choose the right pieces. Jeffrey in the shoe department was a doll and was a pleasure to work with as well. These 3 definitely made up for the horrible service in the Wedding Dept.

So I took my wife today to pick up a few things needed for a meeting that we have upcoming. In defiance of the Governors order, they tried to force us to wear a mask. So the mall can only have 25% capacity which naturally increases social distancing, yet you are going to force me to wear a mask to spend my money with your retailers (who need my dollars, I am sure! Especially Neiman!). This is Texas, not California or New York! If I wanted to be oppressed, I would move to one of those oppressive regime States. I hope you follow the fate of most malls in America, right out of business! Online and HP Village for us from this point on!!! Good riddance!

I was blown away by how rude the girl was to us. Nordstrom was our last stop of the day and even though I was pretty sure I found my dress, I still wanted to make sure.I had a phone call with her a few days before to tell her what I like and what Im looking for. I dont think she listened to me at all. I specifically asked for no strapless dresses and three of the dresses so pulled for me were strapless. When my mom would ask if they had anything in my size with sleeves for me to turn on, she responded (very rudely), of course we dont.We were there for twenty mins before we decided it wasnt worth our time.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I’ve been trying to order a dress for a wedding in May, no one has gotten back to me and I call today and when I asked to speak to the contact the lady I talked to said there was “no note in the folder” & when I was just asking to be in touch with the contact... She said she would put a note in her calendar and abruptly hung up.

The ladies here at the Nordstrom were extremely helpful! It was my first appointment ever trying on a wedding dress and they were so accommodating and helpful. LOVE that they do all their alterations in-house, and we were able to speak with an alterations expert during my appointment. My favorite dress was a Monique Lhuillier and the alterations specialist was able to explain exactly how we would get this dress to work with me. We had a wonderful experience here, though it was not where I found my dream dress, I would certainly recommend checking it out.

I had a great dressing experience with Silvia. Since it was my first try, she told me to try different styles of dress so that I could have an idea which style suits me most. Now as we know what I want, she would send me emails about similar dresses or new collection. Look forward to hearing from her soon. Thank you, Silvia!

Waited a week for the dresses I wanted to try on to come in and when I finally made it to the appointment I had to tell her that two dresses were not the ones I asked for. She apologized and said that one of the dresses was sent in error. Then she said that I could go look around to see if I liked anything else. It was clear she didn’t even look to see if they were the dresses I had asked for before my appointment. Why even make an appointment if you can’t even get the dresses correct that someone specifically asks to try on. I was very disappointed. The dress selection is very small and mediocre. It is nothing like what they have online. I wouldn’t recommend this store to anyone. There are many nice bridal salons all over Dallas who want to help you choose s gown and offer suggestions. This is not one of them.

I was so disappointed with Nordstrom! Usually they have such amazing customer service but my appointment with the bridal team was very disappointing. When we arrived to the appointment it took a very long time for anyone to greet or acknowledge our group. Once we were being attended to we were informed that the woman we’d been speaking to for the last month about the appointment was running behind and someone else was going to take over. This very sweet young woman had not read any of my notes, nor did she know how to take over an appointment. She only pulled one dress and we all didn’t like it. We had to ask her multiple times to help in the fitting room and when she did, she didn’t know how to clip any of the dresses. My whole party agreed that this was all abnormal for the bridal shopping experience and that we expected more from Nordstrom. We theorized she was new and untrained. Hopefully they do better in the future because they have a beautiful selection of gowns.

The bridal department at Nordstrom’s Northpark made me depressed about getting married. I planned a trip from New Orleans with my family just to try on dresses. I couldn’t wait to get to Nordstrom’s because that is one of my favorite stores. I prepared for my visit by looking at the bridal dresses online. There were so many dresses I was interested in that were very affordable. A few days before my trip I had an email asking the details of what I was looking for and my budget. I let them know I was looking for a dress around $1200. I got an email in response saying there were no dresses in the store under $1500. I responded to that email saying don’t worry about it we will make it work. It wasn’t that I couldn’t afford more than $1500, I just couldn’t see myself spending more than that on a dress. I was still willing to try on dresses and if I fell in love with the one I wanted I was willing to pay whatever it cost. We arrived a little early to Dallas, so me and my mother went to take a sneak peek at the bridal department before my appointment just to get an idea. While we were browsing through the dresses, we could see in the back a group of Women whispering and immediately felt unwelcome. A young girl came out and asked if we needed help. I let her know that my appointment was the next day, she looked up my name, and let me know if there was anything I was interested in trying on to let her know so she can pull it. As we were looking through all the gorgeous dresses, I could see the ladies in the back just looking at us and turning around and talking. I found a few dresses and let one lady know I was interested in trying something that actually wasn’t in the Bridal department. She let me know that they can just pull it tomorrow which is fine, but her whole tone and attitude towards me made me feel like I was bothering her. The next morning I arrived at my appointment on time and the lady who welcomed me just so happened to be the lady I saw in the back whispering, and acting as if she was gossiping about me and my family. Her name is Cindy Gore. She showed me to the dressing room and only had two dresses pulled and said these are the only ones that were in your price budget. I asked if I can just look at some other ones, she continue to say OK here’s the rack that’s under $2000 and walked away. Like I said before I told her in the email I would make it work, so she has no idea what I’m able to afford, but because I said my budget was $1200 I felt like She wasn’t willing to treat me as a customer who is getting the dress that is supposed to be for the most important day of her life. She was treating me like I was just some girl wasting her time because in her head she thinks I’m not buying any of these dresses or I can’t afford them. I felt so rushed, and she seemed so uninterested through the whole process. In all my photos, she’s in the background with her arms crossed looking miserable and bored. While I was at MY scheduled appointment, another girl came up asking if she could try on dresses even though she didn’t have an appointment. They told her yes and suddenly Cindy‘s attention went from me, her scheduled appointment, to this other bride who just walked in. Then the girl asked me to get off of the podium so she can get up and look at her self in her dress and they let her! I was shocked! I couldn’t wait to get the dress off and leave. I go in my room which has a curtain, and start getting undressed. I was in there for not even a whole minute and Cindy flings the curtain open asking if I’m dressed. I was half naked! Instead of her asking before opening the curtain if I’m dressed, she just exposed me to everyone outside the room to view my breasts! I advise anyone who is frugal or working with a strict budget to avoid dealing with Nordstrom’s at North Park. I truly believe Cindy Gore is very unprofessional, callous, intolerant, and very narrow minded. I cried after my experience with this bridal department. I was so disgusted and I hope no bride feels the way Cindy Gore and her bridal team made me feel.

Truly a waste of my time. I scheduled an appointment at Nordstroms Wedding Suite weeks in advance in hopes of finding the dress. I liked that I could see the prices of all of their gowns on the Nordstrom site, so I knew there were dresses I liked in my budget. A few days prior to the appointment, I received an email from my bridal consultant, LeAnne Cluck, with a list of questions to help her better serve me. I answered the following questions:· When is your wedding?· Have you booked your venue for the ceremony and reception? Is it indoor or outdoor? Daytime/evening?· Have you decided on a specific theme (formal/informal)? Have you selected any colors?· Describe your personal style. What do you usually wear? What designers do you like?· What types of silhouettes are you drawn to? For example, strapless, sweetheart neckline, straps, a-line, sheath, fitted, flowy, mermaid, etc!· Have you tried on wedding gowns yet? Where have you been? Were there particular designers or silhouettes you liked/ didnt like?· What fabrics do you like best (flowy chiffon/organza, lace, taffeta, tulle)?· What is your dress, shoe, bra size?· Who will attend your appointment with you?· Is there a budget we should be respectful of?On my way to the appointment, my friend warned me that when she went to Nordstrom to shop for her dress a year earlier it was a bad experience and the consultant hadnt pulled a single thing for her to try. When we arrived, lo and behold, it was the same lady. She told me she hadnt pulled anything for me and she would just follow us around while we browsed and pull anything we picked for the dressing room. I couldnt help but laugh to myself at my luck in having this same lady and same terrible experience. I wish I had known! Why did I answer all of those questions in detail if she wasnt going to pull any dresses or even read my answers? Why did I make an appointment at all? I couldve shopped on my own, read all the price tags, and brought the (two!) dresses I tried on into a dressing room myself. This hour and a half appointment was done in 15 minutes. It literally took me longer to drive there than it did to complete the entire appointment start to finish. She didnt really seem interested in selling me a dress. It was more like she couldnt wait for us to leave so that she could sit around and continue to not read peoples emails. Ive never written a negative Google review in my life, but its been weeks and I still cant believe the nerve of this lady. When planning a wedding, people have better things to do than waste their time emailing you information youre not going to use and making it to appointments that seem more like an annoyance to you as the consultant.Ive only taken the time to write this review in hopes of saving another bride the same waste of energy. AVOID!!!!!! This woman should honestly find a new job she cares anything about. She owes it to herself and to the rest of us.
