Cool little place. Basically feels like a small modern tap room. We were there real late at night so it was a little slow but it had a cool vibe. Great music. They have a LOT of options (including local) for beer on tap. You can buy by the glass or fill growlers. Overall it seemed fairly affordable as well.

Im a cider girl, and the two Ive had at Lakewood Growler have been great. Wish theyd bring back the grapefruit cider! They are able to can any of the beers on tap for you to bring home. Nice local hangout. Clean inside. The people there give it the pub vibe since the location itself is in a strip center. (Hey, just means more parking available!) Also, they have a patio with outdoor seating.

The beer selection is one of the best in Dallas and the bartenders are super helpful with recommendations. Recent changes to the pet policy are a little sad (service dogs only) but nothing really brings this place down. Super friendly neighborhood vibe.

First time visiting and we very much enjoyed the relaxed setting. There are so many options so we decided to have the flight! The associates were friendly and very helpful. I even picked up my first growler! And theres free popcorn!

I have been going to this place with my friends since it opened. Great beer selection. The staff is great and is knowledgeable about all different types of beers. Also if you find a beer you like you can get a Crowler to take with you.

Small little neighborhood beer bar. been going since right after they opened and still a frequent guest. last time i went, 80% of the beer kegs were showing low on the digital menu but i’ve had enough good experiences there that i won’t let that one experience ruin it for me.

Visiting this place is always a top priority when I am in Dallas to see my family. I love the wide selection of beer, and the laid back atmosphere. The employees are always helpful if you have a question about one of the beer choices. If I lived in Dallas, I fear I would be there every day.

Its all the things you want in a growler bar: wood tables, a huge, diverse, and will curated selection, and fair prices. They use the industry standard digitalpour interface to show you their offerings. The only thing I really want is for it to be bigger as its often pretty busy, though Ive never had to leave because it was too full.

Very cool, relaxed spot for a beer and a bag of fresh popcorn. Picnic table seating inside. No food menu but have seen patrons bring their own or have it delivered. Highly recommended.

My husband and I have been here several times. They have a great beer selection, but the customer service is just terrible. We are avid craft beer drinkers and so we love going to growler fills in order to try many different local beers all in one place. We came in on Saturday, June 29th and it was pretty dead because a storm was about to roll through the area. We went up to the bar and asked to try a sample of a beer each, so two (2) total. There was a short, large, blonde woman behind the bar who said in a very snotty manner you only get two samples each, thats it. Wed only tried one sample each. Isnt the point of a growler fill to find a beer that you enjoy? They werent busy, we werent holding up any lines, and weve NEVER had a growler fill limit samples to such a small number. We ended up only getting one beer each and then leaving. Had the customer service been better we would have ended up staying all afternoon and spending a significant amount of money. We honestly wont be back. We enjoy Taps & Caps instead because the customer service much more friendly!

Can’t ask for much more. Excellent variety of beers and terrific service. We will be back!

Great little place if you need a low key place to grab a beer in Dallas. Good selection. Staff was alright. This was my first time there so I had no idea how to order (At my table, at the small bar, do I wait at the bar, do they bring it to me?) Which made it slightly awkward for me.

The friendly and knowledgeable staff add to the great selection of growler bar. A great place to fill up on your favorite brews or stop by to sample a few new ones and have a pint. No problem if you dont own a growler, just buy one here or take home a bomber from the growing selection.

While I understand that this is a beer place, it would be nice if they had more than one cider option for those of us who want to join our friends when they go have a beer but who cannot do gluten. Being able to order food from the many restaurants in the area is a big plus! Its a great place to hang out and enjoy the company of your friends or to just get away from it all and have a brew on your own.

Two stars for price point only. Customer service was poor on 9/1/19 around 5pm with minimal guests present. Felt extremely rushed by the person behind the counter. Had to leave after one beer because i just couldnt block out the music. But if you like audioslave, red hot chili peppers, cranberries, and third eye blind this place is for you. It wasnt worth a complaint- just not my vibe. So we left.

This is probably my favorite spot in Dallas for meeting friends and drinking beer. The selection is always rotating, and breweries are in and out doing promotions and special events. Its a great place to be.Make sure you take advantage of their BYOF policy. Taco Joint and Lovers Pizza are around the corner, and you can bring it to the Growler.

Coming from a place with a lot more growler options, Im just happy to have a place like Lakewood Growler in the neighborhood. Even with stocking only Texas brewed beers, they have enough variety (with a number of Belgian styles) to make me happy. Add several US and international choices and Id be even happier.

Growler bar/tap room on the southeast corner of Mockingbird and Abrams, in the strip between Taco Joint and the remains of the Albertsons. Older sibling of Bluffview Growler near Bachman Lake. Good selection of local, regional and national beers, and a selection of growlers for sale. Small shop, good prices, special events, theme weeks, keep-the-glass nights, etc. While the small space and seemingly infinite supply of infants, dogs, and White Rock smugness can be less than welcoming for a long stay--the beer, service, and prices still make for a good resource for quick growler fills.

Meh, for 30odd taps in what tries to be a cool neighborhood, I expected more than 1 gluten-free option, was disappointed that it was pomegranite, and revolted by the proposition of paying $20 for a growler of the same that costs $11 up the street at Whole Foods.These folks need to step up if they want to be as good as several grocery stores in PDX.
