They didnt have the type of paint I wanted so they have me the next best brand up for the same price. They ring me up while someone else prepped my order, and carried my paint to my car. Yall! Nobody does that anymore. Great and fast service!

I love my Dale City corner SW store. Its more personable than heading to the big hardware stores and I can order ahead for quicker pick up! The associates are so kind and accommodating. 5 stars!

This morning I had a pleasure of going by the dale city location and to my surprise William was working. This young guy has flourish since the time he have began until now. The speed, efficiency and customer service is why I come here whenever Im in the area. Keep up the good work!

UPDATE: downgrading this to one star. The color she said was in her system wasn’t the same color as what I brought in. I ended up not being able to use either of the quarts I bought. Waste of time and money.I spent a good hour or so researching exterior paint and primer for my deck project. I needed something that could be applied at lower temperatures, had a quick drying time, was good for previously painted wood, and would last for high traffic areas/flooring. I had Valspar colors that I liked and wanted Sherwin-Williams to match the color.I got to the store, and the person who greeted me asked about my project and then started to show me various options. I specifically said I wanted to paint the deck, and she showed me a solid stain. When I said that wouldnt work, she showed me exterior paint for siding projects or other exterior wood, not for flooring/decks. I had to specifically ask about the porch and floor enamel product I had seen online.I asked her if the porch and floor enamel was available in a quart size based on seeing it online, and she said no. I looked down at the shelves while she was standing there and there was a whole shelf full of quarts.Next I asked about primer and said that I wanted to see an exterior primer. She said they didnt sell that and steered me toward their extreme bond primer product. Literally 2 feet away on the same shelf was sitting the Exterior Latex Wood Primer product Id seen online. So I grabbed one gallon of that. In case anyone is interested, they also had this in quarts....Thankfully the colors I picked out were already in their system, so I didnt have to pay for color matching or have someone who clearly doesnt know paint help me do that.I asked about a five gallon size for the primer, and whether or not they have it in stock. She said not only do they not have it in stock, but that Sherwin-Williams doesnt sell that. I pulled it up on my phone to show her that it is offered on their website. And then she said that if I ordered it, then she would need to turn around and order it.Im glad I already did my research before I walked in, or I probably wouldve left without buying anything. She clearly did not know their products or understand what would be best for my project.

If you are at this location, look for a guy named Eskindle. He is the most knowledgeable person there. Im giving this location the five stars based on his performance and service. Not much to say about anyone else that works there.

I made my first purchase from the Sherwin Williams store in Dale City last week. Because of COVID 19 protocols, I had to call in the order from outside the store. The sales associate was extremely helpful, helped to ensure that I was purchasing the right paint, and walked the finish product out to me. It was a very easy and completely stress free experience.
