Great studio. Sensei Mario is great. Teaches respect. Would highly recommend for anyone.

Ive been going to USSD Cypress, learning from Sensei Mario for a couple years now and I think hes the best. I tried a Dojo down the street and felt like a second class citizen. When I tried USSD Cypress I was welcomed with high fives. Sensei Mario really cares about his students and he has a great working relationship with us. He will push you to be better but never too much. I ran 2 1/2 laps last week, my max. Sensei Mario noticed something in the way I ran and gave me 3 1/2 laps this week, and I did it. It felt really good! This class works well for getting in shape and losing weight too. My health has improved since attending classes here. Saturday is our kickboxing class. We spar with other students. We always go at a learning speed. Always respectful. Its my favorite! If your looking for a karate class, I highly recommend Sensei Mario and USSD Cypress. Ive made a home here. Just come in and talk with Sensei. Hes very friendly. Then when you join the class, well welcome you with high fives.

United Studios of Self Defense Cypress is a top notch dojo, best around! We looked all around Cypress/Los Alamitos/West Garden Grove and we found the best in USSD Cypress! Sensei Mario is amazing! He runs his dojo as a big family, and emphasizes doing well in school and respecting your parents. Were so blessed to have found a perfect addition to the family! Come try it out if youre looking to sign your child up for martial arts!
