I went to this shop for the first time, after my traction and brake light came on, my BMW Z4. I spoke to Nick on the phone prior to arriving and he told me they could do a manual inspection and if necessary a diagnostic. He said they were honest and fair, that should have been my cue that it wasnt the case, otherwise why bring that up. After the manual inspection, they discovered I had a dead battery, which sounded about right because my car had been sitting for 2 months. Instead of just telling me to replace the battery, then went ahead with a diagnostic. Now it wasnt only the battery but alternator. I went with my gut, and I didnt believe them. So I decided to leave, now at a loss of $125 and misdiagnosis. I went to OReilly to get a new battery. I had him test the battery with the diagnostic and it automatically checked the alternator and it was FINE!! Thats all my car needed a battery replacement and of course just the resetting of the lights. I was disappointed coming to this shop and I dont recommend it! I have had 11 years with my car, and not once had I experienced this type of dishonesty, I know it happens out there, especially to us women, but I had been lucky. I really felt like they were trying to pull one over me with the alternator. I called Nick after to let him know that my alternator was fine, but not even then did they own up or decided to make it right.

My BMW had many problems with the drivetrain, alternator and battery. We went to BMW service center they couldn’t diagnose the problem. Nick at Highland European Motors went above and beyond and found a resolution. Now our car works great. Thanks Nick!
