Poor management and listening skills. Went to Uhaul one week in advance to reserved a trailer to help move my son to college. When I got there one week later they forgot to reserve and blamed me, they wanted me to go to Lynwood at 4:30pm on Friday. The manager was sitting there and came over to help me. I told him my problem and called his employee an incompetent f@$, was upset it was Friday and needed to take my son Saturday morning to Arizona, that was the ONLY thing I said. Manager threatened to refuse service if I said anything else. Needed the trailer so kept quiet. Manager NEVER apologized even though I had paper work. When I brought the trailer back they wanted to charge me extra fees but I had my paper work so they had to bite it. Never trust this place bunch of liars and incompetent people. Problem NO place to complain about service!!!
The first time I got there, I was standing for over 15 minutes but nobody would help me out or talk to me, even though there were 2 people at the desk and I was the only customer.I Wanted to extend my rental but they are impossible to reach over the phone, the only time I was lucky enough to get somebody on the line, they immediately put me on hold, I turned on the speaker on my phone and nobody ever pick up the phone again, I waited close to 2 hours.Thre staff is very rude and no helpful at all, I went to the store to change my reservation from one way to in town, and the person who helped me out didnt want to answer my questions about the difference in price between one way and in town hauling.This is a big location but theyre not organized at all, when I dropped off my rental there were several returning vans parked in the entrance of the parking lot but the lot for the inspections was empty.
I’ve been here 3 times and I’ve been let down twice. Both times, they didn’t have the trailer that I reserved. While I do understand that I did reserve a day before, quantities should be updated online. Also, their $50 guarantee was complete BS. They said because I reserved online it wouldn’t be honored and I couldn’t find that information anywhere online (as of today). Apparently they knew this information beforehand and didn’t even bother to give me a call. I even overheard them talk about how another customer won’t get the same trailer later on today! Place is trash and cost me money. Don’t come here.
They never answer the phone calls,they put in a hold for 25 min.when I got there they gave me the truck with no gas in the tank so I have to go to the gas station to put 15 dollars,but they didn’t gave the 15 dollars credit.
I always rent from this place. The manager Rene is very helpful. He installed the hitch on my van too.
Worker refused to refill the propane. Worst service ever.

I asked 2 different people to replace tire on trailer I was picking up and they refused. I had to take the trailer with a bald tire with absolutely no thread and wire coming out since it was the last one and I needed it for the weekend.Left the location and wasted 2 hours of my time waiting on roadside assistance to replace tire just because they are lazy and didn’t want to take 10 minutes to replace bad tire.
About 1month ago a Family Member was moving away from LA & we need it to rent a truck. 😣 Keep in mind that it was the weekend. Everybody wants to do everything on the weekends. So naturally we had a wait of about 20-30 min & we also had a line of people behind us. But the Girl & the young man were very helpful & patient 😔 to help us out. So its not the location but the people that saturate places & want to be serviced in a snap of a finger. Would Recommend this location.😎👍
The staff was friendly and helpful. However, it took 45 minutes for me to check out the Truck even with a reservation. They were having technical difficulties and it appeared that this issue was not new. They need to update the system and handle tech issues in the future.
The ulises or Hercules guy who is the manager is great! Very helpful. Great experience every time!
A couple months ago my sisters car got stuck in Vegas. We needed to rent a trailer hitch to go and retrieve it. Long story short, Cesar helped us and stuck with us for about an hour and a half until we brought the right truck with the right connector. He was patient and helped us get through the bump in the road. Will definitely come back here
Yeah I agree this was my first time needing to use u haul and just my first step of calling to inquire about pricing and how it works the woman customer rep. who answered the phone was not helpful, patient and definitely bad customer service in every way possible !!!! So I prefer driving a distance than dealing with her and driving close by :(
Alberto is the best! Ask for him when u talk on the phone or in the store. There was another associate who kept me on hold for 20 mins on the phone til i physically arrived to the store, hung up on me while I arrived to the store to handle my business. And he told me he did it because he was by himself.That was very rude because instead of apologizing he thought its ok to do that to customers. But Alberto made up for that person. Hes the one to go to. Great customer service.

Ive rented equipment from many U-Haul locations and the U-Haul in the city of Cudahy is one of the locations that Im most fond of!!! The general manager Renee is on top of his game. The staff members are also very helpful and professional (Chanci Jose & Bianca). Im definitely reserving my next or trailer @ Uhaul Cudahy!!!!!
Stand there and wait and wait no one even says Ill be right with you. They act like if they dont look at you then you are not there.
