Jason and Chris were wonderful to work with. They were very informative as I am a first time rider and had tons of questions, they weren’t pushy at all in getting me into any bike other than the one i came in for, and didn’t try to upsell me on anything I didn’t ask about. I knew I wanted to purchase the bike but I needed to think on it overnight and Chris was very understanding of it and didn’t try to guilt trip me into doing anything right then and there. When I came back in the next day they answered a couple more questions for me and we had everything written up and ready to go in under 20 minutes. We did a quick fitting on the helmet that i tried on yesterday one last time before purchasing it, went over their storage information, along with a list of things I will be buying over the winter before next season starts to have installed on the bike as well as riding gear, and I was out the door. They couldn’t have been more amazing to work with as a first time purchaser/rider.

Recently purchased a 2021 Rebel 500 here with Jason, and it was an upfront, refreshing experience!! Paperwork (including plates) took less than 10 minutes, Jason is very knowledgable and professional, and they were also able to arrange delivery for the bike. Definitely my best experience with a dealer to date; price was very reasonable, there were no astronomical doc or other fees that you will find with some dealerships. Thank you again, Jason!!

Jason’s an amazing salesman! My husband’s wanted a certain bike since Honda first started producing them and we finally were able to afford one, but they’re no longer manufactured. We found one here, 250 miles away from where we live. We called two days before we were to come get it to check availability and the day we left to go pick it up. He returned our calls promptly, coming in early to see if we had called, and was very responsive. After we’d finished all the paperwork and we owned the bike he let us know that someone else had called about it that morning. That’s a great salesman right there! No pressure at all. He even made sure we had the bike properly secured to the trailer before we left. If we’re ever in the market for another bike and we’re near Crystal Lake we’ll definitely be back.

**UPDATE** Went again today and had an awesome experience. Staff was very helpful in rolling the bike out and starting it up. They let me go over the bike with a fine tooth comb as long as I wanted. Any time I had a small question I could call them up and easily get a helpful answer. Jason is very knowledgeable and patient when it comes to title and registration/tax items. He even saved my grits when it came to mirror modifications. Everything in the showroom is nice and they get rare or heavily modified bikes too!Will recommend Honda Northwest without reserve and over the competition. 5 stars**BE ADVISED: there is a no test ride policy at the time of this review, however that is standard for the area and much of Illinois.**

What a refreshing way to buy a new Honda! No games, no hidden fees. Jason was awesome, straight forward and honest with pricing.I came here after a terrible experience at the competition just down the road (DSP Honda). That placed was making up and tacking on hundreds of dollars worth of made up fees. DSP would not give a simple price without doing the used car salesman 4 square sheets.Jason gave me a better than expected price immediately. My wife and I live in California and called Jason with a special request. We wanted to buy two GROMs, sight unseen and wire the money from CA. Wed then fly out two months later to pick them up and ride Route 66 to LA. Jason was courteous and all business. He gave me a competitive quote and handled all paperwork without a hitch. When we arrived, the GROMs were serviced and ready to go. We chatted with the courteous service staff and purchased supplies and were on our way. All-in-all, a hassle-free and great transaction.

My expierence with honda northwest , is great. They had the exact bike i was looking for. I looked at other places that had this model none for the price honda northwest was asking for. Iworked with jason on payment plan. I informed jason i could pay the bike off in 2 mths well weve both keept our word and in 2 days i will have it paid off. Cant wait tell riding season starts. These bikes are rare, and getting even harder to find since Hond discontinued them a few years ago, in favor of the Honda Rebel (another good bike).About a week after I started looking on the Internet for the Nighthawk at dealer website across the country, I found The One at Honda Northwest. It was pristine. All jet black, low miles, and shiny as a new penny. After a 20 minute phone call with the owner, Jason Siegel, I owned the bike. They made it easy, but also made sure the process was done right.We arranged for the bike to be transported to Seattle, where I live. It arrived 3 weeks later in perfect condition. And Honda Northwest even sent me a rearview mirror (at no additional cost) a couple weeks later just because they are a stand up outfit, and wanted me, the customer, to be perfectly happy. I happen to leave my expensive helmet outside and drove back to Michigan, I didnt realize it til the next day. I was relieved after making a phone call to Jason and he located it and shipped it back to me, no charge! These guys are upstanding and highly recommended!

Wouldnt buy from them, they laugh if you ask for a test ride on a bike that costs less than 4k. Ill take my business and go elsewhere.In response to the owners remarks I understand the thought process to try and keep joy rides to a minimum but isnt that why we buy motorcycles? Personally I cant decide on a Grom or a Z125 but if the Honda dealer tells me I cant demo it then Ill ask the Kawasaki dealer and if neither will let me demo the bikes then I would move on to another bike. My local Woodstock Harley/KTM let me test drive the SuperDuke, Speed Triple, Street Triple, 690 Duke, Thruxton without a second thought. If a guy shows up on a 15k motorcycle to test drive a 3k Grom your response shouldnt to flat out refuse and tell him that you will have all these sold by the weekend without a test ride.If all it took was $500 or $1000 hold on a credit card to do a demo ride Id be fine with that as a type of insurance, that way if the guy wrecks you get the insurance deductible right off the bat and you keep out the people who are only trying to joy ride everything possible. They also and help me obtain the knowledge and the products/tools I need to care for my bike. The variety of bikes they have is also very good if you are shopping for a new or used bike. Ive been to this store a handful of times. Usually Im a satisfied customer.However, this time I had my valves inspected and bought spark plugs from another local shop because Honda charges $28 a spark plug, when you can get the same online or elsewhere for $10-$15 each. You know each shop has their golden egg, and up-charging on spark plugs is one of them. Bugs the crap out of me.I waited two weeks to get the bike back. Which is ok, a little longer than expected. However, on the final call for me to get my bike back, they told me I had the wrong new supplied spark plugs from the other local shop, and they installed their set of plugs in the bike without tell me.The bike was already finished, and offered me to remove the plugs install the old ones or the wrong new one, and modify the invoice somehow. It felt like an ultimatum. I told them I wish you would have called me before installing $110 worth of plugs. I got no response over the phone to that question.Previous work done by this shop is good, but I thought everyone should know about this situation.

Jason (owner) and Chris (parts/sales) are awesome to deal with and I have bought two motorcycles from NW Honda - 2003 Honda Valkyrie and 2012 level 3 Goldwing plus tons of parts and accessories. They are friendly, honest, great service department and they follow through and keep their word. I wish I still lived in IL as hard to find dealers you can trust and really work with. I still order parts from Chris and just bought a new bike (2015 Honda Valkyrie which only a few dealers had or would have bought from NW Honda) and purchased the extended warranty from Jason. I highly recommend NW Honda as they are genuinely good people that will make buying a bike or getting service/parts a pleasant experience as it should be.

We ordered two tires and made an appointment for today 6/23/18. Arrived for our appointment. They didnt have the tires. When asked why dont you call the customer to inform them. Well the parts guy flipped out and said just give him a refund wow what customer service. So we did just that. Walked out and ordered from a different dealer. Such a shame he is not skilled in customer service.

Des Plaines Honda or Nielsons Enterprises is a better place to buy or have service done. NW Honda dont seem to have knowledgeable mechanics.

Ive had my Z1000 services there twice now. I initially picked them because they were close to my office so I didnt have to worry about transportation while they had it. They are keeping me as a customer because each time they have been thorough, very courteous and treated me like I have shopped their for decades.Because of this, Ill keep going back and when I decide to get a new bike, Ill be looking there also.

My husband and I walked around the store inside and out for over 15 min when I finally was annoyed enough for being ignored that I went up to them and asked them to acknowledge us.Made us feel like we weren’t worth the time. Not to mention no test driving before a purchase... how will we know if we are comfortable enough to buy something I’ve never driven. Heading to Nielsen’s for our scooter test drive and PURCHASE!! Been to Nielsen’s before but thought We check out Honda. Very disappointed!

A guy that works here made a fake account on a facebook group and used this dealership for a shipping address for a part he ordered on the group, and paid the seller but then filed a dispute with paypal after he recieved his item and then also kept the item ripping the seller off.. take your business elsewhere...

Great location and staff. We went here after a terrible experience at Monster Powersports and wanted to look at a bike they had listed.In and out in under a hour. Sales guy was friendly and cracking jokes.

Honda Northwest is great. We found a fantastic 2008 Goldwing. Jason was extremely helpful showing us the bike via Facetime and answering all our questions. He arranged to have us picked up at the Chicago airport. The bike was better than advertised and ran great. We immediately left for a 6000 trouble free ride. Thats a credit to Jason and Honda for a great product.Jason and Honda Northwest have my highest recommendation.Craig Rollins

Went in there for some small parts for my Honda motorcycle. Took 10 minutes of standing in an empty showroom before anyone acknowledged my presence. When the parts guy finally came up, he acted annoyed and like I was bothering him. Reached out for my debit card and he tossed it on the counter beneath my hand. Same kind of treatment when I picked up the part a few days later. If you can get it on eBay or Amazon, do it and avoid this place.

These guys were ALWAYS great to me (sales, parts, AND service). Had a Honda F4i and a CBR 600RR that I bought & serviced there. VERY aggressive pricing (even on the new stuff) and the guys behind the parts desk are second to none.I switched brands (went Italian) but still like to order parts, tires, etc from these guys...

These guys are 5 star got a Harley was out riding and my chain went slak on me 25 and 25 later back on the road
