Went there to buy some country style spare ribs, why finely opened package was very disappointed in the cuts of meat. Half of the cuts if meat were mostly fat. After trimming the fat . The weight of the fat was 1.50 lbs out of a 5 lbs package. Dont think well be going there again.

My Daddy has done business here for many many years. He is 86 and had to give up raising his own cattle but we are spoiled to the good meat! We have been coming out here to keep us in hamburger meat. They are awesome. Very friendly and helpful.

Ok so I use to go there and the people were nice ..new people arent as nice as they were..they didnt have their special burgers like they use to..sad because I use to go there alot..I was going to start going back there again but I think serving the public you have to be nice and friendly!

Got some medium and hot sausage last week. Both were excellent! Highly recommend. Would like to get link sausage, but dont know yet if they offer it. This will be my go to meat supplier in the area.

Have had beef processed here 2 times each time I was treated as if I was was a second class citizen.The first time I thought maybe someone was just having a bad day. An extremely rude older lady or I should say person because she sure does not act like a lady, I will say confronted me each time ! She has to be part of the owners family because there is no way a business would allow her to be the first person you see when you walk in. I will do without before I would do business with this place, NEVER AGAIN !

Used to be a great place, then they hired that old woman in the front, heard its their kin!! Rudest woman Ive ever met in my life! I will find another slaughter house for all my business! Im telling everyone I can!!

Rude customer service. Poor business hours, what kind of business closes at 330. Then wants to charge you 50 dollar fee. Hollo most people work to 5 oclock. Dont taste like my meat I think I got someones old nasty pig when I took a 270 lb 4h pig. Yup not going back. Very bad place to do business with.

I had the same experience. Had a trouble bull that I needed slaughtered, H&R had always helped fit me in with problem cattle. The new woman, Mary I believe her name was, told me to go else where! Nasty and rude woman. When I told a few other people, two had the same experience. H&R has lost their businesses as well. Looks like their family member is costing them reputation and $$.I will spread the word. Reputation is everything in Crossville.
