Location, safety, and cleanliness of the facility. Anthony went over all my paperwork and showed me my unit. He was very pleasant, seemed trustworthy, and answered all my questions thoroughly. I’ve never rented a storage unit before and this was a wonderful first experience.

Ive used plenty of storage companies in the area, and CubeSmart is far and away the best. Their customer service is excellent— I was helped by Anthony, who was even willing to stay 30 minutes past closing time to finalize everything for me. Storage units are very easy to access, you can drive up to any one of them. Rates are reasonable. Highly recommend!!

First I want to say that cube smart is a wonderful place to do business.I must admit the reason why I say this in part if not all the reason is because of their manager Anthony. Ive been there about five or six months.for the last probably 30 days Ive been running into a lot of problems partly because of the covid-19 and being out of work. I always been on time with my payments but now I dont even have money to live on not to mention eat etc. after Anthony heard this instead of being mad and in trying to do everything you can do to get the money he offered to give me money so I could eat Ill say it again he offered to give me money so I could eat. That was so kind and generous of him.I would not accept it but I got to tell you Ill never forget it I think him from the bottom of my heart and if anybody reads this and wants to know if they should ever do business with CubeSmart definitely look up Anthony in the chromo location and know that he does a wonderful job and he really cares about people.

I just finished renting a cube from this place since my college suspended our spring semester earlier this year. When I went in to sign up, my preexisting situation was immediate and very stressful, but the store manager Anthony Ferraro has helped me a lot. He was very patient and considerate when I signed up for a cube, when I needed it, and has been supportive even under our current unique global circumstances.

I just posted a review and Im not sure if it actually got posted but I want to say this that the cube smart in Cromwell is an excellent place to do business in for the main reason I say this because of their manager Anthony hes got a heart of gold hes always very personable when I explained to him recently that I had a bad experience with the department of labor and things like that and I didnt have money this month to put on the storage unit not to mention I had no money to even eat Anthony offer to reach into his pocket and lend me money forfood I cant believe you would ever do something like this not knowing me personally and Ill say it again he offered to lend me money so I could eat I got to tell you it it home I would not accept it but I will say this I will never go anywhere else for my storage units or any other needs like that without talking to Anthony first and I recommend you do the same

Weve been with Cube Smart since it was Casey Storage. We love, love, LOVE, Karla! She is the best ever. I recently met Dan, and we decided we like him too. 👍🏼👍🏼 Well keep them both.The driveways between buildings are wide, smooth, and well lit. I feel safe there after dark, and thats important. Yes, there was a short time of bad lighting right around the fall time change, but it didnt last. As far as the prices go, we think theyre competitive; if you can save $5 a month but have to drive to Portland, it doesnt make much sense, but thats just us; this location is on our way to work.Well give it five stars.

The only reason I didnt give this place five stars is because of the price.you are looking at about $170 a month for a moderate side story room. And yes they do run the climate control scam like the rest of them because Ive yet to see any of them climate control like they advertise.other than that the area seem to be pretty clean and secure, it was a very crowded and the grounds were maintained very well. When we did have a question getting into the gate, the customer service line did respond properly and we were able to enter and handle our business without a bunch of running around. So if you do need to waste money on a storage facility then this one should be on your list.

We looked online first and CubeSmart was the best price. We were so pleased to find the facility is perfect! Wide drives pace makes EVERY unit easy to access. Our stuff is coming on a semi, and there will be no issue getting in and out. Eddie was great! We felt like friends by the time we finished.

I just moved out of my space today. I have been there for 3 years. I cannot day enough about Karla and Dan. They were so awesome! When my credit card expired and I didn’t notify them they called and emailed me. I really appreciated that. I could always count on a smile and welcome atmosphere from Karla. Karla was very thorough in explaining the pricing and the rules of the storage facility. She also was very friendly to me and to other customers that popped in to pay their storage bill.The only complaint I would have would be the four round bushes thatwere planted at the exit of the Cromwell Cube Smart. They block theview of the oncoming street traffic as customers are exiting. Smallerplants, even ones with flowers would have been just as nice and safer.

This is my go to place when I need to secure my belongings! Even back when it was Casey Storage they have upheld everything I like about them.The entire staff is outstanding* The place is clean, well managed, great location, they have good reasonable prices, and I love that you do not need a code to leave it makes the visit convenient! Even if you dont need to put your things in storage just go stop by & buy some tape and boxes from these guys they are truly a gem** Thank you Dan & Karla you are the best :)

Karla Rodriguez at Cube Smart in Cromwell, CT has given me outstanding customer service! She is an excellent communicator and always kept me up-to-date on the status of my desired storage unit. She is very thorough in both her verbal and written communication. Also, she was a pleasure to work with!

This is the cleanest and nicest storage facility in the area in my opinion. You dont get bells and whistles (like free truck and such) but the service is impeccable, your stuff will be kept fresh and clean, and the compound is safe. The owner is an engineer and was especially careful in his design to manage water flow and climate control. In the climate control units, air circulates inside the unit not just in the hallways. I highly recommend this facility.

Great place, but everything you store there must be perfectly square or they dont accept it.

I do not recommend Cubesmart. Their employees lack training in basic knowledge of the business as well as customer service. Even at the corporate level the customer service was unhelpful. Pay very close attention to the fine lines because they will essentially steal your money if you arent aware of their absurb guidelines.Unlike many other storage unit companies in the area, they charge high late fees per day of being late on rent, and they do not prorate, so you will be forced to pay for an entire month even if you move out the first week of the month. Aside from these issues, you cannot access your unit 24/7 which is also inconvenient.Upon my visit today I was helped by an employee named Carla. She was extremely rude and unhelpful, and upon leaving was spewing religious banter at me which is EXTREMELY unprofessional (I will be contacting corporate about this.) So overall, do not rent here. Spend your money elsewhere!

I stopped in recently in search of winter storage. My original contact was with Dan Sacharko from the Cromwell CT location who immediately informed me that there currently wasn’t availability for the size storage I requested. He still offerd to show me a similar unit in comparison and also said he would place me on a waiting list to be contacted if a unit should be on available in the very near future.Yo my surprise, I received a call just days later from Karla Rodriguez informing me of an available unit with the dementions I needed.Karla’s follow up, detailed information and great personality made a wonderful combination that was a pleasure to deal with.Both Dan & Karla did well in representing the Cubesmart brand. I can only hope all of my future experiences with the facility go just as well.

This places management is horrible, they have not had their outside lights working since they took over this business, I think they just dont want to pay for it so if its dark out you cant see anything, they also raise their rates every couple of months, it is clean but not worth it

Anthony was a pleasure to deal with. Plus, the monthly costs for 10x15 are currently the most economical choice out of the local storage facilities, including the Rocky Hill CubeSmart.
