Taking off a star because no baskets or bags , might not necessarily be Walmart s fault but theres not really a provided solution other than bring your own. Because of this my ice cream melted. Great selection price and clean and staff

I scheduled a grocery delivery for 12-1PM on 8/17/21, and it never came because the delivery driver picked up the groceries, left the store, and cancelled. They have my groceries. I had to call to find this out, because I was never notified, and no one made any effort to assemble the order again and get another driver to deliver. An entire day wasted, appointments rescheduled, errands not done, waiting on this delivery. Worse still, I had the same problems the last few times I tried back in April, so this is the 3rd or 4th time this has happened. They flat out just will NOT deliver an order, period. This has been going on for FIVE MONTHS and its still not fixed. If you call the store, no one answers, or they transfer you and again, no one answers. Their pick up service works well, a little delay sometimes, but it generally works fine, but delivery? It flat out does NOT work, and its wasted countless hours and days, and it would seem no one is trying to fix it.

Great value, but the store is hardly ever stocked. Also, they need more cashiers, it seems that at most they will have one or two open. Plenty of self checkout, but I dont use them because it takes jobs away.

Sometimes the fulfillment in this store is awful with empty shelves and closed deli. This time things were pretty well stocked. The pharmacy and staff are great!

Walmart is NOT what it once was. Price are mehh & every sine store her in Connecticut that I visit is always a mess, things on shoes that dont belong there, clothing dept is always a mess.There is always things on the floor that are a big slip/fall risk. Employees are either nice and not very familiar with the store or the depth they work in...does any department even have an employee that works in & stays in there particular department ? Its ALWAYS ME: Hi, do do you work in this dept?. Walmart: uhh, no, but Ill find someone.RESULT: Employee disappears & nobody ever shows up.I think people that use self check-out should get a discount. The self check-out was created to give customers an option to standing in lines 6 customers deep..BIG box stores need to staff properly , if they get sick calls managers need to step up and step in to take care of customers. Self check out should only be a convenient option , NOT a crutch for a poorly mismanaged stores. It has become a way for big box stores to save money, to grease there bottom line..THATS IT.They would NEVER spend the money if it was only about customer convenience. STAFF PROPERLY THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE STORE..EVERY DAY! Can the managers for store to district to regional level that cant/dont do there job.

Nothing great beside one stop shopping, but its always over packed and God forbid u need food the first week of the month.... Everyone who receives food stamps clears everything out its ridiculous, so if its the first week of the month dont count on getting any meat.

Before Covid I loved doing my grocery pick up with them. After covid and including today I dont get my groceries the day I order them, no one picks up the phone at customer service when I want to check up on my order, and they just throw items in my trunk when I do pick up an order. Definitely has gone downhill and I tried 3 times with them. Im done.

Overall poor. Many food shelves empty. Not a half gallon of ice cream of any brand. No people? No stock? Bad management? Avoid this store. Prices bad, too. Im going back to Aldi where they have stock and low prices

This is one of the best Walmarts but I have noticed that Walmarts it has been running out of stock more often over the past couple of years. Im not sure if this is the fault of the store or the supply chain.

Pretty clean but several areas are constantly under stocked. Cat food, cat litter, juice, meats, store brand Lactaid. No matter what day of the week I go theyre empty.

More fun than a barrel of monkeys 🐒 ! Pretty much every time I go Im pleased with Cromwell. Friendly helpful staff for the most part and well stocked.

Easy to find what I need n pick up is simple and fast.

Many shelves in the grocery section were bare. They were out of the Great Value brand on several items. They only had 3 cashier lanes open & each had LONG lines. It took a solid 15 minutes just to be able to get our items on the belt. Tried numerous times to call the store to talk to a manager with no answer. Finally got somebody to answer only to have them hang up on us.

Disaster Zone!! Items shrewn about on the floor in the store. Some produce rotting.Empty sheves. Asked 2 people to check a price, neither was able to help because they didnt have a price gun. Greeters at door didnt even say hello or goodbye.Pharmacy staff very nice. Lot assiciate, assisted with wiper blade pricing because no one was in the department.

They had fresh produce that day... I rather do my shopping in the morning. its just better.

I have to shop for clothes in the kids section because everything in the mens section is sized XL and up. All the clothes are oversized. I take a large but everything fits like a XXL.

If the workers were better trained and cared about their jobs and customer service, there would be a higher rating. Their pickup service has to be the slowest I’ve experienced and it’s as if they say your order is ready just to get you to the store and have you waiting for 30min+. And even then the order is wrong or missing something they didn’t inform you about. Also, what store keeps their condoms and other personal items locked up? I understand that sex is a natural thing and all, but I AM NOT one to have my personal business aired to an associate or customers around me. You’re doing too much Walmart.

Got here at 6:30 AM waited outside in the cold and not sure why they hold out on the inventory when it shows that they have PS5 in stock and refused to sell to the customers that have been waiting in line before the store even opens, hold them for themselves? Not sure. Maybe the corporate needs to look into this. Very rude about it when we had one of the employees scan the SKU code and says they have them but one of the employees says they dont. I also called and told them that Ive check with the corporate office and the lady on the phone said they can say whatever they want but we aint got itWaited 1.5 hr no luck with rude employees.

The store is close to home and my customer service worker who cashed me out was the BEST!!! 👋👋I forgot her name...( But if any workers at this Walmart ESPECIALLY Supervisors).This last by far is one employee who needs to be recognized. Not only was I cashing out exactly at closing time, she was made me feel so at ease and she was such a joy. Most workers Oumd have a attitude. Found everything we were looking for, check out was easy but parking difficult . Parking took 10 minutes in store was 15 minutes. Still 25 minutes not bad😉

Cromwell Ct was the best store around for groceries. Lately theyre closing more and more registers for check out. They opened more self check out. It took us 45 minutes to shop and 30 minutes waiting on line to check out. Its gone from the best Walmart to the worst Walmart. Well be going to another store to shop.

It is an average super store for Walmart. If you come late, more than likely there will be empty shelves, or missing what you came for. The service depends on who is working. Some are really depressed and show it heavily. The others dont really acknowledge you, and very few are smile. Store manager is about the only chipper person there.Store does maintain their sales displays very well, and the pharmacy staff is excellent. Bake shop gets a thumbs up too as they are almost homey in spirit.Prepared foods and deli are an average staff, but the meats are good, and the prepared foods is surprisingly great tasting.

Visiting different Walmarts around CT always amazes me. Each one seems to be better than the next in their own way. Not only the structure but the hospitality of the staff. I can honestly say this Walmart and Southington are the nicest. The key is the further North you go the better the stores.

Ordered delivery for 2-3. I called them at 3 to find out why there’s no status update and they didn’t pick up. 30 mins AFTER my order was due they send a service delay message. I call them back 2 hours later and they still don’t pick up. Finally get through to customer service and she hangs up on me. As if I’m not paying for this service.

I do all my grocery shopping online. More times than not, they have everything I order but if not, they substitute it with a similar item. You always have the option to approve the substitution. The associates are always pleasant and help load the huge order in my trunk. I highly recommend this service especially with the pandemic. It doesnt cost a fee and is a huge convenience!
