Left a voicemail to schedule an oil change after hours and they called back to schedule with me the next morning. (Responsive and follow through was the first good sign) I was able to drop my car off early and received a call when they were done. Not only had they completed the oil change but they tested breaks etc and gave me updates to future maintenance. They did not push any additional services and were very fair priced. Being new to the area I have been looking for a trustworthy car shop and am happy to have found them!

Came in for an emissions test saw that there was a bunch of people and said oh Ill just make an appointment for 12:30and Ill come back. Great. Come back at 12:30 and they say my battery is too dead to complete the test. OK. OKI will just go get another one and come right back. At which point they tell me that oh sorry we dont have enough time to get you done today youll have to come back another time lame service. Waste of time. 2 stars cause the kid was nice.Edit: I went immediately to another place they completed the test with no problems whatsoever.

Great place. Treated me well. Got a used plow put on my truck for a very fair price. My only wish is if it were closer to my home(40 minutes) but there no place like it near me.Ill be back.

Purchased a 2008 Jeep wrangler in November 2019. The fourth day I had the car the brake hose broke while I was on the highway and the front right blinker didnt work. Then a short few months later the catalytic converters went bad, and now the bottom end piston bearings are bad. They said the Jeep was in perfect like new condition, but 14 months later with it only being driven for maybe 9 months because of quarantine, I could have completely paid off the car (a 5 year loan) with the money ive had to spend to fix it. They also wouldnt let us bring it to our mechanic to get it checked out before I purchased. As the very first car Ive purchased I am very disappointed. I understand wear and tear happens, but I feel like I was sold a car that wasnt fairly priced with all of the things that have gone wrong with it that were issues that had to build up over time. Especially when the brake hose broke and after they fixed it they said they checked over everything, yet the blinker still wasnt fixed and not even two months later all four catalytic converters were bad.

Brought our 2019 F250 to Cromwell automotive to have a brand new Fisher XV2 plow installed, they did an excellent job and everything was flawless. Highly recommend and will certainly be doing more business with them in the future.

Bought a car from them with zero issues. Andre was helpful and respectful during our communication. Nice location and easy to get to from Rt. 9 or I-91. Hours make it hard for anyone working a 9-5 to make it in during the week, but that might just be a me problem.

Very clean and professional auto shop. I have popped in without an appointment multiple times for various issues and they have always accommodated me! Staffed with experienced and educated mechanics!

I am currently in the process of trying to buy a plow at the beginning of the season. Rodney is being extremely accommodating and expediting the process to suit my needs. This is my first experience trying to do this and it has been phenomenal. I will do a follow up review once purchased, but I have nothing but good things to say about this establishment so far.

Very dissatisfied with their service. Extremely rude employee working at the front desk and an equally rude and lazy employee that runs the emissions testing machine. He will make up any excuse to not test your vehicle for emissions. I recommend that no one go to this location for any reason. Portland automotive has an extremely friendly staff and never makes up an excuse to not test your vehicle for emissions. Overall 0/5 stars for this useless place.

Only got my emmisions done but service was fast , accurate, and friendly. The waiting room was clean and comfortable and Ive heard many good things from others.

One of the worst shops I have ever walked into, the sales man is very unprofessional and has to learn to speak correctly instead of swearing at customers that have questions I would rather speak to the owner regarding a purchase , but as I see the owner is well aware of his behavior and allows it so people be aware they lie cheat and steal from all customers, definitely not a trust worthy place sadly to say because cromwell is a very great place to live

Went for Emission testing , everyone very nice, I had asked to check tire pressure and they did. Very clean place and even had coffee for customers. A great place to have automotive work done on car, they are very honest people.

Horrible customer service. Hack job installation. Rubber bushing missing. Spent almost $10,000 was lied to about partial warranty left on one of plows. The employees try to down play things. Just to get operational had to spend another thousand dollars at a real dealer to fix their junk. Very disappointment.
