I stepped into this lovely shop on my way to a restaurant. I wasnt really expecting to find anything, because Id had so much trouble finding something anywhere else .I was looking for a mother of the groom dress, in a pretty color, which is hard to find. The owner of the shop, Annette, came over and started pulling out dresses for me to try. They had so many beautiful dresses, but I was having trouble finding one that would work for me. Just when I was thinking I was out of luck, Annette mentioned that she had one in the back that was being altered for someone else that I may be interested in ordering.It was the perfect color, just what I wanted. Annette put a rush on the order and it arrived in time for the wedding. I really appreciated all the extra time she spent with me trying to find the perfect dress. The service and friendliness that I experienced at Simply Elegant Bridal was above and beyond, and they had more beautiful dresses than Id seen anywhere else, for a reasonable price. I also noticed that the wedding gowns offered were extraordinary, so different from others Ive seen, so I took my daughter there to get her weddding gown and she found one she loved at the first viewing! I received so many compliments on my dress at the wedding, it was just perfect! I would highly recommend this shop!

I initially went to this store not thinking i would find anything (because i had my heart set on something else). Literally the first dress i tried on was stunning and the lady who helped picked it out based on what i told her i liked. She was not pushy, i never felt rushed and she was very knowledgeable about the selection they had. We ended up going with that dress, and she genuinely seemed happy for me :) They also picked out the prefect veil that we also ended up getting. After losing a lot of weight my first fitting did NOT go well (as expected) I was really down about not looking and feeling the same in the dress i fell in love with. Plus their may have been a mix up on the length of the dress that should have been ordered. I can not say enough kind words about their seamstress. She is so kind, understanding and treats you like you were her own daughter! She pinned it up and reassured me i would be stunning. I came back the second time and she had worked her magic. It was perfect.. except for the length which she also came up with a solution (at no cost to me) No worries, no stress.. everything works out in the end. I cant thank them enough!!

My entire experience with this store has been nothing short of wonderful. I had gone to another store first and was really disappointed in the quality of dresses I was seeing in my price point. Not to mention, I usually wear an 8-10 in dresses so trying on 4s does nothing to show me how a dress will work on me.Then, on a recommendation, I went to simply elegant and was blown away. All of their dresses are top quality and design. For someone who hates shopping, I had so much fun trying things on. Heather was my consultant and she took her time to really understand what I was looking for, as well as making sure that I had tried a bit of everything so not to have buyers remorse. I ended up finding the perfect dress, well within budget and was able to get some fun accessories to go with it. We went back to the bridesmaid sections and again found attentive service and girls who werent pushing any products, but trying to actually understand and give good advice as to options. I again found that the dresses they had to try on came in a wide variety of sizes, many 10-14s were available.Anyone getting married in St. Louis should go here, everyone is very courteous and there is no hard push for a sale, but the support you get there after you buy is still fantastic. Just make sure to get an appointment time because they do get busy.These ladies are thoughtful,

They had great dress options at a variety of price points. My dress attendant was amazing. She ended up pulling my favorite dresses and knew what would look good on my body type. Best wedding dress shopping experience I have had (after going to a few different places).

We had a horrific experience at Simply Elegant. I strongly CAUTION anyone from going here. Once I gave them money, their attitude towards me changed dramatically. Where I at first felt welcome, I then began to feel beneath them. They made me feel like an inconvenience. Then was the big problem. My bridesmaids dresses came in and all were too big (8 bridesmaids). I do not mean slightly big; they were HUGE! My sister is a size 4 at her heaviest. They ordered her a size 12. When she told them she was sure that would be too big, they insisted their measurements were correct. Well, it, along with the others, were too big. When I called to complain, they told me my bridesmaids must have lost a ton of weight and that there was no way this was their mistake. AND even if I was able to PROVE that it was their mistake, they would not do ANYTHING to help us. They did not apologize and continued to treat me and my family like. Also, they ordered the wrong dress for one of my bridesmaids so it came in last minute, which was of course nerve racking. One of my bridesmaids told them that she may be a few months pregnant at the wedding because she and her husband were trying. The workers response, You might not be able to get pregnant at all. Who says that?!?!

Simply Elegant Bridal was quite possibly one of the best experiences I had while planning my wedding. Not only did they take care of me with my gorgeous dress, jewelry & belt but they took care of all 10 of my bridesmaids. The are so professional yet down to earth and have a true interest in what is best for you and your wedding. They understand that this might be one the most important days of your life and that your dress is probably one of the most special things about your day, aside from your future husband of course :) Ive been in a lot of weddings and can honestly say that I have never worked with a bridal boutique that was so friendly, understanding and knowledgeable. They we so great to my bridesmaids as well, helping each find the dress that worked for them and pressing all of their dresses free of charge. I give them two thumbs up and would recommend them to anyone and everyone! They carry the most beautiful dresses as well, what more can a bride ask for! Simply THE BEST!

Love this bridal shop! This was the first place I came when looking for dresses and they were so helpful and accommodating. Heather was amazing! I found a dress I loved but wasnt crazy about the top. Heather helped me piece together a dress using the top of one and the bottom of another. When I came back for the fitting, everyone there was almost as excited as I was to see how it looked. It turned out better than I could have expected!! (the best part - it still ended up WAY below my budget) Id highly recommend Simply Elegant.

I have never had such a horrible bridal dress shopping experience in my life. I cant believe anyone goes to this company for anything that has to do with bridal gowns or brides mate dresses. They give the wrong sizes to the wrong people. They take longer than stated. The price is outrageous. I hope that women in St. Louis think of a better place to get any of their dresses for their wedding. This place made nothing feel special they are just another dress shop who could care less about their clients. I am pretty sure the reason why they havehigh reviews is because they made family and co-workers complete the survey. Please go somewhere else for your wedding.

Annette was amazing to work with and really made sure I got exactly what I was looking for. She helped narrow down all the options to find me the perfect dress. I couldnt be happier with all of the ladies at Simply Elegant Bridal! Amazing space, too!!

My mother and I stumbled across this shop after trying 4 or 5 boutiques in my area that just werent meeting our expectations. We loved it from the second we walked in. Everyone was so accommodating and knowledgeable. We ended up trying a couple more shops in our area, but could not stop comparing everywhere we went to Simply Elegant. We finally went back this past weekend and bought my wedding dress. I am so incredibly happy with my purchase. This shop truly makes you feel like you are their number one priority. So happy we chose them!

We went to Simply Elegant as our first stop in dress shopping for my sisters wedding dress and were slightly underwhelmed. While the location is beautiful the service did not match our expectations. The group sitting next to us seemed to have a very knowledgable stylist who was willing to put in effort to get her what she wants while we were stuck with a stylist who didnt even know how each dress could be bustled or what my sister was wearing at the time. For a beautiful store I would expect a high level of service and did not receive it. Not horrible but not ideal.

Absolutely wonderful experience! My consultant Heather did such a wonderful job picking the perfect style for me that I would have never thought to try on! Dresses are of excellent quality and they have samples of all different sizes to try on!! Highly recommend!!!

Bought my wedding gown in November and it didn’t come in until mid-July after being told it’d be in at the beginning of June (typically takes 6 months to make but the makers take all of January off). I didn’t mind when my initial date of delivery was pushed until mid-late June. However, being from out of town, I called to make sure if I flew it the first week of July, the dress would be in so I could start alterations. The timeline was confirmed and I flew into town. The dress wasn’t in. I then had to follow-up numerous times to figure out where the dress was, sometimes I was told that it had shipped, others it hadn’t yet. Needless to say, I lost trust quickly and wasn’t going to be able to continue to come back into town for alterations as our wedding date was quickly approaching.Annette started off gracious and willing to help. I had asked if she would be ableto call local alteration shops since she knew better what to ask for than I did, and provide options with price since I only knew what Simply Elegant Bridal could provide. She accepted, no problem. After I followed-up a couple times, Annette provided one option which was the most expensive place in town. When asked to provide pricing or types of questions I could ask to ensure the alterations on the beautiful gown I’d purchased would come out perfect her response was “if you’re old enough to get married, you’re old enough to call around and see.” After reminding her that I wasn’t her daughter but a paying customer she got very frustrated and said that I was “taking advantage of her.” While I don’t believe I was considering the tardiness of the dress is what caused my to look elsewhere for alterations (yes, I was originally going to have Simply Elegant Bridal do it), I was appalled at the lack of customer service.Annette continued to lose control during the phone call and would not let me speak. Granted she did mention family struggles at this time; however, I have simply never been treated so poorly as a paying customer in my life. I asked if she had any sense of accountability for the alterations done since I’d be telling people I got my dress from her store and she replied with “once it leaves the store, it’s out of my hands,” basically handing the issue over to me to deal with and hope it comes out okay. She mentioned she had “other things to get done” and I told her I cannot hang up because I have more questions. She said “that’s ridiculous, this phone call is over” and click. Call ended.Everyone else at the store was a true joy to work with! Please hope that nothing goes even slightly wrong and you have to deal with the owner, Annette.

I had an amazing experience at Simply Elegant! I was a very indecisive bride, but they were patient with me and helped me find the perfect dress. They were so professional and I could tell that they really cared about helping me, my mom, and my bridesmaids find dresses for my big day. I also live out of town so I was worried about making sure the dress was in on time and that it fit. They kept calling me to keep me updated on when it would come in so I could book a trip back, and they also stayed there late one night so I could do my last fitting as soon as I get into town. I would definitely recommend everyone go to Simply Elegant, they helped make my day perfect!

Heather was incredible. She is truly a professional at what she does and I couldnt have asked for a better experience. Not only did I find my dress I cried when I found the one. Love this bridal shop and would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone.

I had a wonderful experience at Simply Elegant. Im not from the Saint Louis area and had to rely on word of mouth and online reviews to begin my quest for a wedding dress. I went to several other stores and came back to Simply Elegant. The quality of the dresses and service of the associates there is top notch. They went out of their way to accommodate me since I needed my dress rushed, then rushed to get alterations and helped me get it ready for a road trip to VA. I was also introduced to their jewelry designer, Meg, who found just the perfect pieces for my dress. They werent trying to sell me just anything - but to help me find the one.I appreciate all that everyone did to make this a pleasant experience.

If you are an older bride looking for a traditional (or slightly non-traditional) dress, I strongly recommend Simply Elegant.I didnt buy my dress here, but it was the seventh (of nine) bridal salons I shopped. When I set my appointment with Annette, the owner, I explained that other stores were either putting me in dresses appropriate for a 25-year-old (Im well past that) or pressuring me to spend significantly above my budget (one owner told me that my fiance deserved to see me in the most expensive dress I could afford. I told her we deserved to invest that extra $1,000 in our retirement. That did not go over well). Annette assured me that they would be able to help me find something appropriate for a first-time, over-40, no-nonsense bride.Annette set me up with a patient, knowledgeable consultant who moved me past the ridiculously youthful styles everyone else seemed obsessed with selling. I left the store with a strong contender for my dress (though it was not what I ultimately ended up purchasing), and a renewed sense of confidence that there *are* actually dresses - and bridal salons - out there for women over the age of 40.

This was my last place of 4 total. The lady I had was nice.The dresses were truly beyond dirty and torn. This store was the rudest on the phone than any place I called. They would cut me off, correct me, insult my ability to say consultants name correctly. I do not have negative things to say about the lady that helped me, she didnt stick out by any means but she wasnt mean.I have found a dress I love there and I will be taking it to the store that I fell in love with thanks to their customer service and caring ways.

I was not happy with the selection. It was very small. And we only got one fitting room and we had an appointment with 6 girls to find dresses. I wasnt told when booking the appointment there wouldnt be any plus size dresses so one of my bridesmaids couldnt even try dresses on. I wasnt asked if my girls were size 12 and smaller. To me it was very insulting to us all because thats supposed to be the fun part and it personally took the fun out of it for us. I will say the girl helped us a lot she was very friendly and I know its not her fault so I will give her credit but as far as overall experience I wont be giving them my business for bridal dresses

Was very dissatisfied with the service, very unorganized and never did receive our bridesmaids dresses, but was offered and given a refund for those. Wedding had to be cancelled due to early blessing bundle of joy. We bought the wedding dress for a few thousand dollars but never did receive the veil. The owner/manager was not sure of what happened to it. We also made many phone calls and never received any calls back except once!Just very unorganized to me. We were prepared to spend ALOT on her dress and accessories and just didnt feel like it was a special day for her. Maybe we built it up in our mind more but this should be a special day for the bride to be, to feel like a princess, I think. The other workers acted like a smile would crack their faces. Those girls just didnt seem friendly.

Simply Elegants new shop in Creve Couer is a beautiful, modern place with a gorgeous selection of gowns and superior customer service. My niece loved her experience there and was stunning in a perfect dress and accessories.

They have great stuff off the rack, and one of the consultant ladies Alisa is awesome and super helpful. I just went in yesterday and got a girl that did NOT seem like she knew what she was doing. I went in to try on new dresses that were in my price point, and she just seemed like she wasnt really trying to find the dresses I was looking for. She also was super vague answering my questions. Pretty bad experience. I was pretty close to buying my dress there, but after her crappy service, theyll lose my service as well! lol

I didnt feel like I was listened to by the owner. The other ladies were very friendly, but I had to tell the owner to order my sleeves multiple times and she ordered the wrong length

What a terrible experience to have right before the wedding. I am a bridesmaid in my best friends wedding next month and we ordered our dresses through this store. While they were nice and helpful at the shop, when it came to ordering the dresses they completly screwed everything up. They ordered the WRONG COLOR dress and then tried to say that it was the correct color we ordered. We asked for Aqua Blue and they gave us Seafoam green. Not even close to the right color, and i know this because i was there when we tried the dress on.They not only claimed that it was the correct color, but the REFUSED to even try and make it right. They said there was no way to order the correct color and they refused to discount the dresses after their mess up. I would NEVER order any dress from here ever again.

HORRIBLE...Brides run away!!! Even if they have the dress(es) you want, find it somewhere else. For my dress they messed up the length and then had a fit about fixing it! Also, were rude to multiple Bridesmaids. Their customer service is close to the worst Ive ever seen!
