We had been looking at vehicles for a couple of weeks, and needed to buy ASAP, as our other vehicle had completely died. We knew that we wanted a Traverse, and Allen Turner was willing to work with us on price and financing. We did much of the paperwork ahead of time to minimize the time we had to spend at the dealer. The day we came in to purchase the car, they were ready for us, and had us out the door in under an hour. We had 2 young children with us, and we really appreciated their efficiency in getting us in and out.

I had my 2017 Silverado in for an oil change and tire rotation. I had previously booked the appointment for 10 am and waited while my truck was serviced. I also asked about buying 4 new tires for my truck and my Service Representative Sherry, discussed with me the various tire brand options and prices. I picked the tires for my truck and Im scheduled to have the work done on 12th November. Excellent service all around and friendly staff.

I was pleasantly surprised by the prices! The entire experience was like none other. I did not feel like I was being spoken to, but with. As a woman walking into a mechanic shop, it can feel intimidating, but this was a comfortable environment, and my kids liked it too! Brought my 2019 Silverado1500 in for 1st free oil change and tire rotation. I work 7:30p-6:00a in Pensacola so I got there before they opened. Was checked in just before 8a and I figured 2-3 hrs because they all overbook. Was out by 9am!! As Im from Panama City area, Im used to Bill Cramer service. Excellent!

I visited about an intermittent interior light problem. When I called, I asked if the dealership if they could install brighter LEDs in the 2 overhead lights. I was told the dealership did not have any, but if I would bring 2 they could probably install them for me, so I bought them. When I arrived and completed the paperwork, the customer service staff took the LEDs and gave them to the maintenance guys. I returned about 1 1/2 hours later without receiving a notice of completed work. They told me they could not find any problems and could not install the LEDs because they were not OEM. They mentioned electrical draw monitoring that could affect the the electrical system when changing from incandescent to LED bulbs. I asked if I could simply install the LEDs if the would remove the old bulbs for me. They took the car back to maintenance and a little later brought me the 2 lens covers and my LEDs in a bag. They told me all I had to do was take my finger and change the old bulbs. I showed the representative that was not possible and the space was too small. He agreed and said to use a small 4 pronged claw to simply remove the old bulbs. I took him at his word and left with my bag of parts and without any repairs. The same day I tried to remove the old bulbs as directed without success. I then removed the assembly holding the interior light. I found the switch, bulb and wiring were part of a single assembly with printed circuit boards, wiring and more. It is not possible to remove the bulbs by themselves as I was directed. The entire assembly part must be removed. I put the assembly back in and reinstalled the lens covers. I called the dealership to talk with them about their mistake and the circuit board assembly in lieu of a removable bulb. No one was available, so I left my name and number for them to return my call. No one ever did. So the end result is no repairs, incorrect advice from the maintenence staff and poor customer service,. All they had to do was tell me the bulbs were part of a complete assembly and could not be replaced. Either they were incompetent and did not know about the assembly or they did not want to be bothered with me. I was very courteous and followed their instructions. I still have the intermittent assemblies and am infuriated by the improper instructions and lack of help by the maintenance staff.I still cannot believe the maintenance staffs incompetence and poor customer service. All they had to do was replace the assemblies or just explain the bulbs could not be replaced because they are part of a complete assembly. The customer service individual was courteous to me, but clearly the overall experience was awful and one that will have a lasting affect on me.

This was one of the best car buying experiences that I have ever had. Every place that I have been has given me the run around due to my credit, Dallas and Justin was extremely helpful and worked hard to get me in the truck of my choice. There was no run around at all and for that reason I will be a life time customer!

I was on my way out of town when I had a last minute need to replace a tire with a screw in the sidewall on a 2020 Traverse. Bottom line, even though I didn’t have an appointment, they had me in and out in a few hours. Normally all four tires would have to be replaced but because I had such low miles and the tread was good on the others they only replaced the one tire and rotated the rest. A local tire shop wanted to replace all four because that’s their “policy” and wouldn’t get to it for a couple days. Allen Turner Chevrolet saved me about $750 and two days. Thank you to the team for not gouging me, and the next time I’m in the market for a new vehicle or need maintenance for my Chevy, I’ll be sure to stop by here first.

Our sales rep, Dallas, was great! Dallas mentioned the Traverse and suggested we take a look and test drive it, if we’d like. As it turned out, we fell in love with it. Dallas knew we were on a time limit. Quickest we’ve ever been able to get out of a dealership! Everyone was exceptional in their service!

Absolutely wonderful staff, I am from Houston, Texas and was on vacation in Florida when my car started giving me problems. I called the dealership right away and they fit me. They even provided me a loaner so this car problem didnt really affect my vacation too bad. Everything went smooth, my vehicle was done in minutes, they didnt rush me to hurry up and return rental. I returned my loaner and my car was like new again. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. Great establishment.

A bunch of lying, lazy con artist to say the least!!!!!I contacted this dealership because of a Honda accord that was posted on Cargurus website. Immediately a woman by the name of Sherry responded to say that this vehicle is currently available. I communicated by telephone and text with Sherry up to Friday afternoon (July 23, 2021 1:28p.m. to be exact) before leaving Mobile, AL to travel over 2 hours to their establishment where a lady met me at the door. I said you must be Sherry she said no Im Liz let me see if I can help you. Well to make a long story short Liz informed me that the car went to auction and hasnt been available for at least a day. Needless to say I was extremely disappointed to the point of anger. I kept my composure because there was nothing I could do but turn around and drive back to Mobile empty handed. Allen Turner Chevrolet employs a bunch of lying, lazy people who dont even take the time to walk into their car lot to see what the company even has to sell. And by the way I never met Sherry or even spoke to her again. Liz called her while I was there in her office so I know that shes an Allen Turner employee. She never even had the common decency to apologize! So BEWARE of this shady dealership. It should have a zero star rating

I bought a 2021 Chevy Trailblazer this last weekend from Dallas and Bobby and I LOVE it! This is the second car I have bought from Allen Turner Chevrolet through Dallas and I have NEVER had a single bad thought or thing to say about my experiences from beginning to end. Dallas made me feel comfortable from start to finish! No pushiness, no trying to put me in a car other than what expressed I wanted, and above and beyond helpful at every turn. My boyfriend also purchased a car through Dallas and was super happy with his experience as well. Allen Turner Chevrolet as a whole will have you feeling welcome and comfortable from the time you step in the door.

I had my car serviced for full detailing. I noticed a few items missed so requested them to be addressed. The gentleman performing the work stated that they do not have a full shampoo and water suction system, its all done by hand. This was something he stated I was supposed to be explained in advance. I was not. The items in question were addressed. Comparing the interior to my experience at the Preston Hood Chevy - was of better quality at the competitor. However, I was much more happy with my experience for the care put into the exterior detailing done by the gentleman. He explained the buff/polish the exterior and just wax it. Overall, I am happy with the service. I understand sometimes things are missed ( it was behind a seat belt bucket ) and I always like to give companies an opportunity to fix mistakes. I will probably be back the next time I need a detailing, as long as my interior is not in need of heavy shampooing.

My tire pressure warning light came on my Chev. Camaro. I immediately. went to Allen Turner Chev.to have the factory tire pressure of Nitrogen put in tires. The rep. there was talking NITROUS!!! I told him NO, tire pressure NOT speed!! He then wanted to put in air. He said that they didnt have a machine and that I could go next door to the GMC dealer. Thats EXACTLY what I did!! I WILL NOT GO BACK! How does a dealer NOT have what they manufacture their vehicles with and then try to substitute an improper item???

Purchased a 2021 Silverado High Country in March. By July it needed new lifters??? Called Allen Turner and told them what happened. I moved to ATL so I couldnt bring back to them, so I brought it to another dealership. I had already bought the extended warranty but still was very concerned that I already had issues with the truck. It was only 3 months old???Asked Allen Turner if they would maybe extend out my warranty because of engine issues on a new truck and the fact that I will be without my truck for 2 weeks and they responded, that would be something to ask the other dealership, doesnt do any good asking us that... I thought this was strange. The 2021 High Country is the Chevrolet top of the line truck. Very expensive and Allen Turner wont look after me as a customer!I wont be shopping with them again.

My overall experience was subpar. I can say that if it were not for my salesperson, Dallas Moody, I would not have purchased. Dallas was very personable and wanted to fit me into something that I wanted to be in. The finance manager, Robert, extremely unfriendly, unhelpful and unwelcoming. He just wants you to sign your name and leave. After purchasing my vehicle on Saturday 6/19, Robert did not send the needed documents to my loan provider nor contact me to make me aware of any issues they were having in doing so. It was not until I noticed on 6/29 that my new car loan had not been processed. I personally then had to track Robert down to address said issue. Come to find out, there was a mistranslation in an email address causing the delay. Mind you, I traded in a vehicle, to which they needed to send in a pay off. It wasnt until I had to contact Robert yet again on 7/2, to find out that the check was just now being sent out 2-3 days after their receipt of finances for the new car.

I vacationed in Destin, FL from Alabama and was heading back home around 5:30 pm on a Wednesday and while stuck in a traffic jam my car (Mazda 6) had every dash light under the sun turn on. Starting to get freaked out, I told my boyfriend to just turn into this dealership because I knew they had a service area. I run into the building crying saying I need help I’m 5 hours from home and had no idea what to do. I was told to go around the corner to see if any of the workers in the service area were still there. I managed to stop a man (I didn’t get his name but he’s from Niceville) getting all of his things together, right about to leave, and explained my situation to him. He puts his things down and comes out to take a look at what could be wrong. Then another man, Jerome, came out to look too. Basically what had happened was, my alternator decided to give up alternating. All while hearing this I’m still freaking out and crying, but those two men tried their hardest to help me and calm me down. Jerome instantly gets on the phone calling everyone to see if any parts store in the area had an alternator for my car. Long story short, these guys were the hardest working, nicest individuals in all of Florida. Also special thanks to Aaron, all the guys who worked on my car, and the man who drove us to the bank.

Always been happy with service since 2011. However, last service, (routine) took 3 hours. Atmosphere in dealership seemed different? Maybe just an off day or miscommunication.

Although they may be dragging what actually needs to be done to ones vehicle...99% of the time what they recommend is what needs to be done. It may seem unnecessary and inconvenient to ones wallet, but to keep that car going, you better do as they say. they also give free coupons in each stop.

First thing you need to do when walking into Allen Turner Chevrolet is “Take a deep breath” and relax what’s for you will speak to you!! Brace yourself going into a car dealership. Prepare mentally for the oncoming “pushy salesman”. And then…… They don’t come. Instead, you get friendly people who don’t try to “push” anything on you!! I had such a great Experience at Allen Turner Chevrolet. I went in with an idea of what I thought would be a good investment and quickly realized they had a better option in tip top shape and at a fair price with excellent customer service. Not to mention, I didn’t go with the 2021 Tahoe but because they paid such close attention to detail on what I was looking for, I ended up with a 2017 Tahoe Premier fully loaded!! To top off such a fantastic experience “Justin Bendickson” Sales Manager literally gave me the BEST PRICE IN TOWN !! I HIGLY recommend this dealership.

Took my new Colorado in because it was shifting hard into reverse. Well, after 4 hrs and 45 minutes of the truck being with them, and 35 more added miles later, everythings normal. (According to them). Its an 8 speed transmission they say.So ALL 2021 Colorados shift hard into Reverse?!?! They never went into the transmission either. Whatever.

I went to Allen Turner Chevrolet under the impression that car dealership was a corporate plot to sell me intelligent automobiles and Chinese rubber. I was entirely prepared to have to fend off ravenous salesmen wielding clubs and their silver tongues.Instead, I met Charlie. He sold me a car. It was easy. I walked into the dealership and I left several hours later with a vehicle at the exact price I planned to pay for it. I didnt even need to negotiate.Charlie and (the possibly fictitious) Allen Turner are pretty alright. You know whos not so alright? Step One Automotive. Theyre up there with the Arasakas, the Wallace Corporations, the Blackwater PMCs of the world. That is to say, villainous to an almost comical degree.But yeaj Allen turner is actually amenable and probably a good choice for a first time buyer (they wont try and twist a knife into your back with a high rate loan)

Diagnostic was done for engine light. Car would run rough for about 10 miles and then run fine. At first what I was told was #2 fuel injector was bad. Well figured okay clean it. No replace and it is assembly. Sorry don’t know the guys name that checked me in and kept me updated. But he did inform me of the full report this time to put my mind at ease that it needed to be replaced not just a cleaning. When I went to pick up car he even gave me a copy of the report. I didn’t ask for it but glad he offered. They were busy both days and he still kept me informed!!! Very happy.

So far so good. I had to leave my truck for a repair and was giving a courtesy car to drive. The staff are friendly and accommodating. There is a large waiting area and everything is clean, to include the restrooms.
