I shop there every week, early morning to avoid a crowd and dealing with people. Sadly I still havent learned my lesson and pick convenience over my common sense. Absolutely horrific employees, customer service is non existent! rude, disrespectful just to raddle off a description. They need to clean house and possibly get some employees that understand where they are and why they are there.

Super clean store, however 20+ checkout lines only 4 open and self checkout only card which is bs.. and like always employees are no where to be found when you need help. Typical wallyworld bs.

Had to bump them up to five stars. The service I received from an associate was exceptional. The young man went out of his way to make sure that I had what I needed in two different areas. Management should take note. Was definitely not the typical year on your own experience.

New Management at Walmart is like the senior citizen home. They just need wheelchairs. It been about 15 minutes and they are just standing around gossiping. Overheard them talking about their employees and how clueless they are. Maybe if you kid something more than chit chat

Everyone was dressed in clothes that fit and covered everything ... No fights and we actually checked out quick... No complaints...

Had to ring my own stuff,no register open.i dont work there! they never have anything, even before virus.be out of something for months.i used to go there about at least three times a week, before they made it big, now I only go if I have to, lines are ale long.

The store is huge and has an amazing selection. The problem is that it is often under stocked and under staff there are empty shells and very consistently. Not sure if theres a better day to go then the weekend but again it is a shortcoming

This Walmart in Cranston have two white older men that stands to the door to check for receipt one in the morning and one in the evening. They only stop black people to check their receipt as if I went into the store to steal .... everyone else that dont look black can pass without receipt being checked but if you are black you will be stop as if you went to steal.. happened to me twice at this location.. poor customer service... I will report this act to the head quarters of Walmart for this location in Cranston all shoppers should get treated equally.

It’s walmart - you go inside find what you need and then pay. I cant really say much. Didn’t have interactions with employees.

Got what I was looking for. Some summer tops. Ample parkings. Shoppers were lining outside to get in. Staff were friendly and practising social distancing.

Wal-Mart is going down hill. Last 4wks things dont seem to get restock! I went several times, each time the things I wanted still not in stock.

Went here to pick up my online order wild I was waiting on the reserved parking one of there employees hit my car with there cart they use to bring your food out to your car went I ask the employee what is going on why you hitting my car with that cart the employee never apologized or say sorry for hitting my car all she say I will get the manager witch she went to do but never came back instead they call the Cranston police to tell me I was trespassing in private property and I need it to leave and not come back ever to this walmart SMH 😑 this is how this walmart treats people went you spend your hard working money. never again stay away from this walmart management dont care about anything here.

Nice, big store, clean, good selection in most departments. Employees are actually helpful and friendly. They dont use paper bags like some Wal-Marts. Thats why we keep coming back.

Some associates a very helpful and others are just plain rude. When an associate is very helpful customers should have a way of recognizing them to encourage others to be the same. 2 went out if there was to be helpful but I didnt get their names.

Good luck finding someone who works there actually on the floor and helping people. I walked around for 10 minutes in a disheveled store looking for someone to help me finding a specific brand of tank top. Employees were scarce to find and not knowledgeable of the location of their products, one woman even flat out said it’s not their department and that they’re too busy to page anyone. I became so let down with the lack of customer service, I left empty handed and found my items with ease at Target instead.

Management are trashAnd they work there workers to death and tearsDont go in unless you need to and thats on a last resort.

I recently went to subway under new ownership and purchased gift cards for the holiday season! The service was very good and very knowledgeable. The store was very clean. I felt safe during these crazy times! I look forward to stopping in soon again. Stop by and grab a sandwich --- you wont be disappointed.

Checkout was the longest portion of my trip recently. The store was relatively well stocked. Prices are generally lower than other stores for equivalent products, but not always by much. Theres adequate parking and it is easy to get there via Route 295 to RI14 East. There is a pharmacy and Dunkin Donuts inside. Masks are still required and social distancing is loosely enforced. Hand sanitizer stations and cart wipe dispensers are often empty, so bring your own if they are important to you.

Do not ever buy anything from the jewelry dept, never anyone there. They only have 1 key to the jewelry drawer there is no spare key. Who does this ? Get with it management, totally insane when you spend over $800. Worth of merchandise and can’t pick it up because an employee went home with the key and there’s no SPARE !! Not to mention main store mgr can’t even come out of the office to talk over the complaint, he/she sends out an assistant, who along with other employees are more sympathetic & caring of customers than the main manager.. Try having a spare key made instead of just sitting in the office doing nothing. Oh and had to make payments at the register or customer service dept, because no one is ever in jewelry... This dept needs much needed improvement. Other than that the store is good & most employees are courteous and helpful.

The Coventry Walmart is the biggest one and only 24-hours in the area so they get 5 stars. Otherwise, its what you normally expect from a Walmart - a little bit of everything at low prices.

Generally, Walmart is Walmart: you know what youre getting into. Yesterday however, was the worst experience I ever had at a store. Im just going to say, dont use their photo center. Its worth the extra couple bucks to go to anywhere else youll be treated like a customer instead of like cattle. Several times I had to call customer service while standing around the store because no one would help me. They were too busy. The contractors who sell the phones were standing around laughing and joking around, unable to help me,while the one associate in electronics was struggling with 5 customers waiting for his help. This is not an associate issue, its a management issue. They cut back on employees to increase the stores profits, thats the Walmart way.

Ive been flying a sign there for about three months now and the people are very friendly and theyre very generous I have been there for 3 months I Panhandle money at the entrance of Walmart hundreds of businesses travel through their daily not one business has ever stopped to say would you like a job not one you know what they say McDonalds is hiring and I say good because theyre looking for someone like you

If you need to return something dont do it here there was 4 people behind the counter with one doing returns and 3 talking about personal stuff and 7 in line why none of them jumped on a register I have no clue that is why the 4 star the rest of my shopping was great found everything I needed

There are no price checks, no order separators, and some miserable rude employees. They also now have cheap paper bags, which many broke when I was carrying them. It is to bad because they did have some things that I liked. Shop at Target you will have a much better shopping experience.

It is big and empty place. If you lucky you can find what you need from almost empty shelf the very last item.

It was ok. They have like nothing on their shelves. The store is a mess and always packed.

On 12/3/2020 I entered the store and immediately asked that someone be sent to the jewelry counter and proceeded to that counter to wait. 25 minutes later, no one having came I went to the service desk and asked them to page someone to the jewelry counter. I did take note of 3 employees standing around and not doping anything .After another 20 minutes, I decided to leave but not without saying anything to a floor manager. I spoke to a manager and politely expressed my disappointment that no one would come close the sale at the jewelry counter and expressed that they just lost a 680.00 sale. The manager did not say a single word in response. I was expecting the manager to tell me she would walk over and close the sale.

I want to this Walmart and why I was in the store we had at least three dogs with three different people inside the store what actually peed on the floor and they were not service animals two of the dogs did not have rabies tags on their collars I dont know why they were let into the store and this happens all the time what happens if I get bit by one the dogs will Walmart be held responsible for it

Under staff, empty shelves and when you ask the staff to check the back they so rude. They quickly said we are out, but is not true they do have it, not enough staff to keep up.

I sometimes find great findings here.But not all the time. You need to get lucky. My tip: Do not come when you are in a rush. They tend to keep you wait forever at some sections of the store.

Do not go to this Walmart under any circumstances! I was here less than two days ago and within the 10 minutes of me being in the store there were over six employees who either did not have a mask on or their mask was under their nose. This is not only extremely dangerous to everyone working there but all the people that go in and out every day

My mom was picking up some medicine for my brother and we went thru the checkout paid for the medicine and we never got it

Loved the online pickup process. Didn’t have to call anyone, just went on the app and entered what spot I was in and the color of my car. I like that I could choose to opt out of substitutions and when the employee came to my car he told me about the substitutions that I did opt in for.

While shopping with my family on May 8th 2021, I had the most horrible shopping experience at Walmart located at 1776 Plainfield Pike in the city of Cranston, Rhode Island. What I thought would be a simple last minute shopping experience before Mother’s Day quickly became a reason to never shop at this particular store again. I am beside myself with the ignorance and extreme poor customer service exhibited by a front-end sales associate. Though I know her name as she had her name tag visible, I will not stoop that low to publicly embarrass her as she did to me and my family.Upon completion of my shopping at the self check-out register, I was approached rather closely may I add, (ignoring the social distancing rules and mask not covering her nose) by said person and she said in loud tone, “You are missing items, you didn’t scan everything, only one carton of eggs rung up and there are clearly two”. I was not aware that I had scanned a wrong code on the carton, and this woman stated I was trying to take the eggs. At this point I had only scanned about 9 items. Before I could even speak a word she erased my transaction and walked away, saying, “only 30 more minutes of this”. The other customers simply looked at her as she addressed my family and I in a very unpleasant tone.When we finished paying we were about to leave when she said let me see your recite, no, not may I see your recite. She then starts asking where is the bread, where are your eggs, how many did you buy, and even had the nerve to question why I didn’t bag certain items. At this point I was about to forget that I was brought up with manners, thus I walked away to find a manager.I explained to the manager what occurred and he returned with me to the woman. She however assumed my sister and nephew did not speak English and went on bad mouthing me to the other associate she was training while I walked in the opposite direction. She said to her co-worker, “ he is just mad because I made him re-ring everything and you have to watch out for them”. What or rather whom is this woman referring to as “them”?Her manager asked her to apologize and she did but turned her back while doing so. She then went on to be rather defensive and began to raise her voice, when she stated, “I am not going to argue with you, I am doing my job”. So my question is, are you to only stop all people of color or just those who you think do not speak English?I am certain that there are very friendly associates at this location but this one person really left a bitter taste in my mouth. It is unfortunate that Walmart does not train their front-end managers better. I now have to explain to my 12 year old nephew that not all people of color get followed and/or treated poorly while shopping. Walmart please do better.

Im handicap and unable to walk a lot. I always use the electric scooter/shopping carts. This particular Walmart isnt handicap friendly as they have multiple carts broken and havent fixed them in a long time. Every time I go there hoping to find working cart and only seeing that they STILL havent repaired or replaced them. Very frustrating! 😕.
