What an amazing experience that I just had at Donut King. This was my first time and DEFINITELY not my last time. I’ll start off by saying that I have never been a fan of donuts but this restaurant has just changed that for me. These are the first donuts that simply melt in your mouth and the perfect amount of sweetness. I also tried a Brisket sandwich and it was incredibly flavorful. I recommend asking for the ghost pepper sauce on the side. This is truly was one of the best places that I’ve had food in Covington. The service from the staff was unmatched and I felt like I’d known them for years! Everyone was extremely knowledgeable and made great recommendations for my family members. You won’t regret trying this place out!

I recently purchased some very reasonably priced donuts and pastries here. I returned for more. Actually, Ive been back many times. The donuts and pastries are EXCELLENT! Donut king has been the place we go to for my wife’s Birthday the last 3 years! They always have something new the Brisket roll was amazing and the monster cronut was the best Dessert I have ever had! Everyone should go in and have a pizza roll!

This place is the real deal! The donuts are always fresh and their breakfast sandwiches are to die for. My family likes the bacon egg and cheese, brisket, and sausage egg and cheese. I love their pig-n-a-blanket. And I love their donuts. I only wish their creme filled donuts had more creme. I had been wanting a Krispy Kreme creme filled donut for a year now. I’ve been stuck in bed unable to walk so every time someone stopped to get me one the order got messed up. My husband stopped at donut king and brought me 2 my excitement turned to disappointed when I bit into the donut and that’s all I got, glazed donut. There wasn’t maybe a 1/2 to a teaspoon of filling. Had I wanted a glazed donut that’s what we would’ve bought. We buy creme filled because we want to bite into both creme and donut at the same time. I highly recommend everything there except the “filled” donuts.

Well I grew up in Texas and me and my kids love kolaches and their pigs in a blanket are really close to a kolaches and they were amazing The cajun one was my favorite the sausage egg and cheese one I had I didnt like but it still tasted good I will definitely be back for more. Oh and my kids loved the donuts.

I stopped in today to see if they had any blueberry cake donuts...they had one!! Yayy!! I must say I travel to a lot of places all over the country and I will be back to this shop. The blueberry was great and he gave me a free glazed which was so much better that krispy kreme!! I also got a maple cake donut and wow!! I am SO glad I stopped by Donut King today! I went in not knowing what they had, but the lady working was extremely helpful! She made a few suggestions, for lunch and for something sweet, and I was not let down at all! I left with a Bourbon Chkn sandwich, a Beef AuJou(sp) sandwich, a Crutter, and a Chocolate iced donut, and I give them 5 stars!! Amazing customer service, AND absolutely delicious food!!

The first thing that caught out attention about this magical place was the aromas in the air. From across the parking lot, my senses were filled with baked goodness. We walked in and were greeted with warmth, smiles, kindess, and a belly that rumpled eager to dive in. The owner gave us a glazed donut and that hooked us! Im pretty sure we bought 6 different kinds and ALL WERE AMAZING!!! On top of having top quality donuts, their smoothies are REAL and delicious! I highly recommend this place to everyone!!!

So my first time here leaving now. Great first experience lady at front very nice outspoken and let me know everything they have to offer. Even gave me a free glaze donut to try which was great. So i got another one and 2 ham n cheese stuffers. Only thing is the ham and cheese stuffers dough on inside wasnt cooked completely so was doughy so i wasnt fond of those because of that. But shake was ok it was definitely different. I think ill try a different one next time. Its called a green wheeler. You wouldnt even know veges where in it. Lots of choices and very delicious. I love that they fill the donuts to order. They are so fresh that way, also it allows creativity(how about raspberry and custard mixed, or vanilla and chocolate?)The owners and bankers are so friendly and inviting. Warm and personable owner-operators who made the sublime treat of a perfect cup of coffee and fresh, hot glazed donut the highlight of my day. The best Ive had in years. I understand why people drive from the other side of Atlanta for a dozen or more! I am sure they dont leave without that fantastic coffee. Dont bother with those chain-owned spots when you can have the real-deal and buy local as well. I will definitely be back!

Love the donut king! Best donuts ever and the Cuban coffee to go with. Lunch sandwiches are outstanding hard to pick a favourite but I would say the beef au jus is it. All the food is great Mike and Diana are great and yall should go in every day and get your donut fix

Went in at 11am. They make their fresh donuts at 6am and again at 8am. The man there was super friendly and professional. They only sell individual donuts and 12ct dozens. The customers told me they loved it there too. They have 💯% juice (from a fresh fruit puree) smoothies. I got the orange passion fruit smoothie and love it! He gave us coupons for a free regular donut next time. By the way, they fry their own donuts! Service is BETTER than a Krispy creme and the donut king donuts taste great :) Its our local donut place! The customer service is as great as the donuts! This is, by far, my most favorite place to grab breakfast or just hang out. I feel welcomed as soon as I walk through the door. I even walked in after they had closed and the owner, Mike, greeted me with the biggest smile and helped me figure out which creative donut I was going to get! I do not know of another place in Covington that makes every experience feel personable, fun. and welcoming like Donut King does. Wish there were more stars for me to give these guys!!

The address isn’t listed correctly, but it’s by the Food Depot 2300 Salem Rd SE, Covington, GA 30016. I was expecting to go to the Dunkin drive thru when I was faced with “we don’t have speciality donuts, just regular glazed”. I was so shocked, and like okay where else can I get donuts in Covington (we are new to the area), so I found Donut King on google. Literally the BEST donuts we have ever had!!! The owners are so nice, even if you’re in your pajamas lol. They helped me find the location, the lobby was clean, their customer service is awesome, and you could totally see that they know their community customers. We are definitely fans, and will be getting our donuts here from on!!

As a first timer I was let down by the service. Two women were ahead of me and didnt know what they wanted. The clerk asked if they had been there before. One yes, the other no. The clerk went the back. The women said I could go ahead of them. I said I also didnt know what I wanted. The clerk brought out fresh donuts for them to try.For the price, the donuts were fine, but service left more to be desired. None of the other patrons in line were offered a donut. I wasnt asked if I had been there before or another framing that would bump up service. Would have purchased more, but left with a bad taste in my mouth.
