Had a problem with my mountaineer that I needed fixed , Freddie was honest and true to his word,even with the issues we had with parts, they still got it done in a timely manner. My cars transmission lines broke completely on a highway, and I happened to call them right away. Though they were busy, Alana was extremely professional and kind, willing to take my car in for a major check. I was very impressed and thankful when Freddie called me little after their business hour ended, assuring me that he will make sure the car gets fixed. My car was then fixed within two days, and he even test drove meticulously to find other problem on my vehicle to be fixed right away on that day. I brought both my cars here within a week… they inspected one car - was in and out with 15 minutes. They were great 😊 A couple days later brought my truck to have tires put on with after market rims ( which TownFaIr Tire or Sullivan Tire wouldn’t touch), they got me in although they were slammed put my tires on and my rims weren’t damaged. The owner and his wife are professional, friendly, and down and down to earth. The waiting room is super clean and comfortable. I will definitely be bringing my vehicles back, so glad I found this place!

Ive been here a few times now for brakes, inspections, and oil changes. Its been a good experience coming here and the treatment has been better than the dealerships Ive been to so Ill keep coming back.I went to see them recently with a question about my undercarriage. It was a small issue and honestly I could see places taking advantage but Freddy and the person taking my car in made it a painless experience so I really appreciate it.

Outstanding service. My wife and I relocated back to Rhode Island after have been away for 30 years and our vehicles needed state inspections. I am a retired Master auto tech of 40 years and former Rhode Island State motor vehicle inspector so I can definitely be objective. The place is very Clean and well organized. There is a nice, comfortable waiting room for customers. Masks are required. They are courteous, respectful and friendly.After the tests, they took the time to go over the results with us and reason for failure. Both vehicles have tinted windows, not a deep tint, but tinted for medical reasons and both failed. The solution was explained and time frame for the free retest given along with the proper paperwork for the tint. It was by appointment and it was tested at the appointed time. Being new to the area not not familiar with a repair shop, I am very satisfied that this is the shop to go to. They were honest with us. No disappointments.

Had my car towed in late at night not knowing what was wrong and I got a call by 9am with what the problem was (i have a weird battery set up in my Jeep) and it was all set by 4pm! Have had my car inspected and I get my oil changed here and have never had any negative experience. Very professional and speedy! Thanks guys!

I love working with Auto Solutions to keep my aging cars running. They are so easy to work with. They are not pushy in any way. I use them for safety and emissions as well as diagnostics for my own repairs and have had them do some repairs I couldnt do. They are speedy in their work and do a great job of communicating what they are seeing, what they recommend, and providing a range of options for repair. When I choose to do the repair myself, they provide recommendations on how to be successful. Transmission trouble with my santa fe was unable to drive it no other shops could even look at it for 7 to 10 days, auto solutions took it in right away they had it ready to pick up the next day and for half of what I expected to pay they even stayed an hour after closing time on a friday to wait for me to get there to pick it up THANK YOU auto solutions you and your team are amazing!!! I went in for a last minute quick and easy inspection before purchasing a Subaru Forester 2016 from a dealership. I addressed my concerns about oil smell and bumpy breaks and he was able to found an oil leak and patiently explained what I needed to know about the car. It didn’t feel rushed and I felt like I could ask him anything about the car! I would come back.

I had a HUGE list of work needed done to my Ram truck. Main issue was that It pulled to the right. Other repair shops have been failing to fix the cause of the issues I was experiencing while I waste thousands. I’ve given this shop two chances to work on my car, both times I left with an additional problem. Had an oil change over the summer where the oil cap was left off. The staff was great about it at the time and resolved it quickly and “credited” my account for a free oil change as a result. So when my brakes needed done, I was happy to go back to have them worked on and get that oil change that should have been on my account. Not only was I never called prior to the brake work being done on my car as was promised (I got a call after the fact telling me the price, top dollar for a brake job), but the oil change wasn’t comped. Not one to complain, I paid and went on my way. I picked up the car after hours and I was just happy to have my car fixed.... until I tried to turn on my radio. Ever since I left the shop last week my radio has not been working despite multiple attempts by multiple people to fix it. Whether or not this is related to the brake work is beyond me, but something about the situation doesn’t feel right. I won’t be going back and I will continue to pay to have someone else fix these issues simply because I feel that my trust has been completely violated.

Professional and friendly. I often have to go to the dealer for issues because of my car being the way it is... even when and if I don’t get my car serviced there, they will help me and point me in the right/best direction. When I do get a service done there, I have peace of mind that it was handled with care. They make recommendations, but will not try to suck you in and give you unnecessary repairs with outrageous prices. It is very hard to find people (never mind a business) that looks at you as an individual rather than just a dollar sign.

I brought my car to auto solutions in Coventry needing an inspection and some work done. They were able to work around my schedule , and have everything done in a timely manner. They went above and beyond to make sure I would have my car for work , and were very reasonable with the pricing. 11/10 , would recommend !

I bought a used Tesla and needed to get it inspected. The first place I called, CPM, said I couldn’t bring it there. I called Auto Solutions they let me bring it in 45 minutes later. I waited for the car one of the owners was at the front desk. She was super friendly. The place was clean and pleasant to wait in. The other owner, her husband did the inspection. He knew about Tesla’s and how to do the inspection. It was a great experience and I’d recommend them.

I brought my car (2006 Audi A4) here twice. I was extremely satisfied with the service and price! The car had several costly issues, and they clearly explained what should be done first, second, and third based on vehicle safety and maintenance. They couldve just fixed the most expensive repair needed and sent me off, but thats not the type of mechanic youre dealing with here. Fred was very straightforward and honest, and the work performed was exceptional. What more could you ask for in a mechanic! I highly recommend Auto Solutions for any repairs you may have.

Although they probably cringe when they see my ancient car lumbering into their driveway, ;) this family-owned local business is honest, skilled and thorough. They explained everything carefully and were candid about what should be fixed and when. You can tell they absolutely love what they do, and to my mind, those are the people you want to work with because the work will be done well and right. As compared with other local shops, their rates are extremely reasonable and, in my experience at least, the work is better.

I knew there was something wrong but I also knew that without any warning lights being on, it was going to be difficult to diagnose. Before Auto Solutions, I was a believer that the dealer was the best place to service my car. Previously I took my car to a Hyundai dealer for new rear brakes and rotors along with one new caliper. At the time, they did not recommend I change the caliper on the other side. I was having problems 2 months down the line--the caliper they claimed did not have to be changed, tore through my new rotor and brakes. Even as a returning customer, and spending over $900 for the job 2 months prior, the manager was not willing to cut me much of a discount for repeated work. Frustrated, I was looking for a trusted mechanic. My boyfriend introduced me to Auto Solutions. Their price to replace a caliper, rear rotors and brakes were priced lower than the deal that Hyundai gave me. The owner was very professional and explained to me that if the same situation had happened with him as it did with Hyundai, he would have worked with me. I highly recommend working with the owners of Auto Solutions, they are trustworthy and reasonably priced for the quality.

Im gonna cut to the Chace Freddy.You very well of aware of what at least my concerns were when we picked up the car.Sure it had its issues.If you recall I challenge you about your hourly rate.I recall you reply being as such Everything around here cost alot of money,That window right there was like 10 grand.What kind of bussiness man does that?Someone who is only in it for themselves. That who.Let talk about the windshield. We authorized you to repair it.You hired an outside vender.I called you personally,And told you it was leaking.Your reply was That not my problem,Its the company that installed it.You gotta call themWrong..We hired you.That was your responsibility to take care of it.But we called them ourselves,Wasted more time.You see our time is just as valuable as your is.Now wether it was you or your who claimed the sun roof was leaking was the problem was absolutely wrong..The sun roof has never leaked from day one we bought the car.What you probly dont know is..It was discussed with your wife and the owner of the glass company.That your wife was to take care of the issue herself ,By my wife going back to your shop and flushing the drains from the sunroof.Which you said were frozen..They were not frozen..The gentleman from the glass company (whom you claim the dont make house calls.But when you talk to the owners.They say thats how they make there money is by going to the customer).They fushed them themselves the day after my wife left your shop because you wouldnt do it.When they arrived at our home..You could clearly see where the windshield was leaking from...So ANOTHER windshield was put in...Hmm double the money..You see where this going Freddie?Myself and the other business owner had a very lengthy conversation. When I mentioned how much YOU charged us for the windshield.She nearly lost her mind and saidHoly MARK UP thats not what I charged him.Then I also mentioned you charged us labor for a job you didnt even do..She was irate to say the least...But at the end of the day .They came to my home(You said they wouldnt) and replaced the leaking windshield at No cost to you of course. In which it should have been because we hired you.As far as the inspection..You passed it and days later the breaks needed to be replaced.So much for you looking at them right?There is a reason why you have 5 camera systems in your shop...Ask yourself why..Because many of us know why now.You wonna make good?Reimbursed us for the windshield.The proof is in the pudding Fred..When the other bussiness owner say it was your responsibility to make good on it..Say alot.Goes to show you who the true business person is here.

Believe these great reviews for Auto Solutions. I started bringing a high mileage Chevy S10 to Fred seven years ago, back when he and Alana were on Knotty Oak Road and their child, now seven, was a tiny infant. Fred kept that S10 running and safe for me for years. Fred grew up with cars, knows cars, loves cars, and he loves to fix them. The service is consistently good. Not once in seven years have I had to bring a vehicle back to him because it wasnt fixed right. If all you need is a routine oil change, Fred will give everything a quick once-over and alert you to any problems that may pop up in the near future. I am NOT related to Fred and Alana, but I do strongly recommend that if youre looking for a good, honest mechanic, give Auto Solutions a try.

They had my car for 16 days, performed 2 hours work and only would do two out of three tasks that were agreed upon. Was a good customer but was told to come get the car out, work talked about incomplete. Will never go there again. 9-23-19 Called me on 9-12-19 to apollogize and explain for how things went after seeing my review three months after the job. Only now is an explanation why, was honest about a buddy helping me out with the job after it was diagnosed, if the possibility of an expensive job. Still paying $89 an hour labor for the tasks. Does the customer still have a choice on what he wants done to his car? Or who will work on it? I was a customer for 3 or 4 years....spent thousands of dollars there.

I have done business with these guys for a couple of years. My latest repair was to replace my squeaky serpentine belt on my 20 year old motorhome. They discovered that the aftermarket alternator I had installed had an undersized pulley, leaving the belt lose. Through trial and error they found the correct undersized belt. No more squeak!
