Well, how to explain this place. On one side there are huge bins piled high with stuff. You have to dig through them to see what is in them. You never know what you may find. And there are a ton of bins to look through.There are different prices for each day.Saturday--$10.00Sunday--$5.00Monday--$4.00Tuesday--$3.00Wednesday--$2.00Thursday--$1.00Friday--50¢What that means is that any item in the bins are the price of the particular day, no matter what the item.On the other side of the store are things priced individually. To get a lower price you need to have the Rebel Retail app. Then you scan their price tag. As an example, lets say the price tag says, $5.49 but when you scan it, it reads $3.21. So, if you have the app, you only pay the $3.21.When you go to the register it scans your membership number which comes with your app.Some things are really good deals. Some things are not. So please, buyer beware. NOTHING is returnable. NOTHING!!I have gotten some really good deals. I bought a brand new walkie talkie set for 41¢. It is a really good one and works great. 👍The staff is very friendly and very helpful.

Ive found truck starters, new in box for $10! Car alternator, also $10! 40 pack of face masks, unopened $2.50! ... Great deals! Every week (starting on Saturdays) different items are put out/on the floor. (New, new -but opened or returned &/or lightly used) stuff. Each day, ALL items 4 sale are a set price. Each next day through out the week they get cheaper, until on Fridays whats left is $.50 per item! (@ that point youll find a lot of partial items, but still really good stuff to find then too! Huge store of rows & rows of very large bins to look through! I love it!

I have found so many awesome deals here! Plus, it also just makes for a fun Saturday morning with my friend thats just as into it as I am! The owner and staff are always super friendly and over time Ive gotten to know a couple of the regulars and theyre just great, fun people! Wonderful experience all around! I’ve found some amazing deals that my husband has a hard time getting mad at because they’re so good! I’ve found a couple of super cute bedspreads, blankets, a backpack purse, a camera backpack, Disney wine glasses, a Disney collectible statue, wall decor, and so much more!

The Council Bluffs store is horrible. Rude management and staff. I have contacted the corporate office as well as the BBB. I will also make sure to tell everyone I know about how terrible this particular store is. Seriously if you dont want to loose business you may want to consider cleaning house starting with the manager and so called general manager at this site

Manager was extremely rude to us. However, I love the concept of the store and one of the cashiers remembered my name a week later after meeting her once (impressive). I previously had a five star until today, but the way my family was treated despite being honest customers is inexcusable. I look forward to having a better experience.

Wife and I were looking around and our kids were behaving. They would walk between us at our request and take something for the other to look at (three bins away) and then go back. They werent digging in bins or causing trouble. A worker came and harassed my wife and told her that our kids were running around the store, causing problems, and digging in bins. Wife said they were not and were nicely taking things between us. Lady got irritated, raised her voice, and told my wife that she was watching them and they were. She responded that they were not. The worker walked away and had someone watch us for the next little while. No one else was talked to while we were there, other kids were digging in bins. We were singled out when our kids were behaving and being nice.Find some great stuff but staff is less than desirable.

I can’t say enough about this store! Our entire family loves Its $5 in Council Bluffs! We always find amazing deals and have a good time doing it. The staff members are wonderful, and I have even met some fantastic regular shoppers. We haven’t had the opportunity to be one of the 1st few people in the store and we still find great stuff! You’re missing out if you haven’t been here. The staff does a great job keeping everything clean and as organized as they can. I love how they listen to their customers and make changes each week when deemed necessary.

My last trip I saved over $650. Every time I go to It’s $5 I find awesome items. Whether it’s Saturday when they restock, or Friday when items are 10/$5. I’ve even gone there for specific items and they’ve had it. Going through the totes is calming to me. It’s like my relaxing little getaway. I never leave disappointed!!

I really like this store great finds. Only negative thing is I was told 3 separate times only 1 person to a bin by the same guy. He continued to tell me this. Yes i understand however you have told me several times and I cant help that Im in a bin and someone walks up to it. Its not my place to tell them to move. There wasnt that many people in the store for him to not remember who he told several times about the policy.

I absolutely love this store! You never know what your going to find. We bring our kids there as well and our cart is always full when we leave! The employees are super friendly. This is not your typical shopping experience and I personally enjoy the thrill of waiting in line to get in and then digging through the bins to see what I cant live without!

We go weekly and search through the bins. It is definitely a different type of shopping experience. I have bought numerous pairs of compression stockings for myself and fellow nurses! My boyfriend loves going as well as he is a very techy person, and has found numerous things to tinker with! We have found many baby items, and also water bottles, diffuser, phone chargers and the list goes on!!We often send each other a message at the end of our work day: “ wanna meet at it’s $5” and it is always answered with a yes!!It is a fun place with unexpected finds and fun!!

I love this store! My daughter and I love shopping here. We find so many great deals. You do have to sort through the bins to find the deals, but they are there. I have never had any problems the staff is friendly, and the customers are too! I love this place. If I could I would go everyday. Not once have I left empty-handed I always end up spending more than I was planning. I was hooked after the first time going there. Its $5 is a fun treasure hunt! Every restock there is tons of suprising items! I have found food items, toys, craft supplies, beauty products, clothing, and pet items. Most items have a normal price range of $15 to $40 but sometimes you can find items that are worth over $150. My favorite section is the food section. Huge boxes of vending machine snacks, k cups, and health supplements. Get there at opening time, grab a cart and be ready to have some fun!!

This place is great! I have found so many great things for school like a electric pencil sharpener, craft supplies, laminator sheets. I’ve gotten under cabinet lighting and so much more. It’s a great way to spend a Saturday morning and you never know what you’ll find. It’s a giant treasure hunt!

Well we’ll see how the new “treasure hunts” go but so far I’m happy to see my past “negativity” has had a positive impact 💖 we were actually able to find some items today 😉 and the store seems a lot more controlled but more importantly everyone has a fair shot at finding items since it’s all kept hidden. My family of 6 never agrees on anything but it’s 5 is one store everyone loves! Everything in our house is from its 5 and we don’t ever have any couple money fights over our purchases! The staff is absolutely amazing and don’t forget to say hi to the it’s 5 guy! We have found Beat by Dre, weighted blankets, toys, bedding, school supplies, sporting good items, backpacks, keyboards, phone cases and the list goes on! You won’t regret the trip to its 5!!!!

Love going to this store! It’s always exciting and like a scavenger hunt to see what you can find. Have found so many different items I had been eyeing on amazon but hadn’t pulled the trigger and bought yet! Was excited to find a pink harness that fit my pup last weekend. Best deals in town and best staff. I found a projector we use for movies. I have gotten items to donate and for gifts. I have spent $100 for $1200 worth of product in one shopping experience. The staff here are great! They also have ton of pet supplies and supplements.

This store is so fun, from so many aspects. People are excited waiting in line, there is a contest to get in early, a secret question to get in early, then when you do get in, you never know what your gonna find, and how great the deal. I have been there 2 times now. This places is a bad addiction. The things you can find are random but SO COOL! We have been able to find some awesome treasures to take home. This store is a blessing because we will be able to take the time to find stuff we need for our house, ourselves, children or even dogs. Birthdays and Holidays just got better even on a budget!!!

Love the store, and the guy at the front door is amazing. I just wish that I was able to go get one of the items they posted. I do find some good deals on somethings, but never find what I went in to really get.* I also wish that people would watch their kid, because I dont think it is the staffs job.* It would also help the store if people would not destroy items and if you take the items out of the boxes remember to put them back in so others can have a chance to get a complete set the an item.

Its kind of crazy on Saturday and Sunday when they open but just wait a bit and it settles down. Ive picked up a few things I needed and some other stuff just because it looked cool. I like going Mondays personally but you have to at least check out the weekends once for the fun of it.

This store is second to none! They are new and continue to improve there processes for the benefit of their customers. The employees are friendly and make an effort to answer questions when possible. I am very thankful the store opened in the bluffs!

The only complaint I would have is that the resellers snatch everything up without even looking at it , and people get a little too serious about “stuff”.Would love to see everyone just have some fun , and calm down. Great deals to be had if you are willing to dig. My son bought a mini PC for $5. A little patience makes for a unique and fun experience. Literally never know what you will find. My only suggestion is that if the music they play has static, to turn it off or down because then it is overwhelming if it is too loud. Otherwise it is a fun treasure hunt.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I haven’t experienced such RUDE customer service anywhere. As a business owner, I would NEVER give my employees, let alone the manager, the right to argue with a customer and this place did just that. I was purchasing a set of clips in a sealed bag and the employee opened it and said it would count as 2 separate items, when I told her that I’ve shopped here every weekend and that they’ve never counted sealed items as separates she started arguing with me. I insisted on talking to a manager and instead of blaming the employee for talking so rudely to a customer, she stated the employees can say whatever they want and threatened to have me banned from the store if I didn’t ‘shut up’. I’m surprised a place can hire people like this, especially managers. Definitely won’t be shopping here again!

Best store ever. Last week I found a Fluke amp clamp. Amazon 375.00. My wife and I are hooked. We are there every weekend. We find treasures every time. Love it. Hope they don’t go anywhere. This place is a great little gem! I’ve found all sorts of things...12 piece Morphe Brush set, make primer, lighted vanity mirrors and ever storage/organizer need for my makeup vanity (my husband says I spend way to much on makeup...so this eases the blow a little). It has saved me soooo much money! I’ve also got weighted blankets for several of my family members as gifts. This includes a 5 pound one for my 4 year old....she’s in love, plus it helps her rest easier (who doesn’t like An easier bedtime routine). The price I’ve spent on all that I’ve purchased, I have not even come close to what I would have spent at retail price for one! Plus...great quality!
