My wife and I were lucky enough to be visiting the area (from Texas) when David Childress was doing a book signing. What a treat. My favorite Ancient Astronaut author and tv personality. It was great talking and meeting him there and getting a few autographs in the books we bought.

What a beautiful experience I had at Adventures Unlimited. The owner was there and I had quite an ambiguous astronomy request. I could tell she had no real clue what I was talking about. This book store owner is so clever. She knew exactly where to direct me.I now have the Smithsonian Nature Guide for the Stars and Planets. I love this book!! It answerd so many of my questions and has opened more doors for me. It bears repeating - I really love this book!Thank you Adventures Unlimited. A very fitting name.

Great hometown bookstore! Theyve always had my odd requests on hand, and if they dont theyre happy to order it in a timely manner! And at a good price! Im an Amazon prime member and I still get all my books here. Why wait two days when you can have it now?? And if I have to wait, I have to wait - Id rather keep my dollars local! Awesome little bookstore in Cottonwood, AZ. They carry the full line of Adventures Unlimited Press books, with topics ranging from ancient mysteries to UFOs. Surprised to find many of David Hatcher Childress books were autographed copies. Incredibly nice staff and hometown feel to the store.

This used book store is a must whenever we venture up north to Cottonwood. Theres no better way to get to know the locals and the goings on of the area. The selections of books and games always seem to have something that intrigues us. We cant seem to leave the store empty handed.

AUB is essentially split into two halves - one side, specializes in conventional literature, which exceptional prices. They go out of their way to order reprints and compilations in order to get the best deals.The other half is... different. The World Headquarters of Adventures Unlimited Press, it can best be described as an alternative bookstore, specializing in subjects such as cryptozoology, fringe science, alternative history, conspiracy theories, secret societies (Knights Templar, Freemasonry, etc.) and so on. The breadth of subject matter is truly impressive, if youre into that kind of things. The only downside of AUP is the quality of the books tends to vary wildly, all while skewing expensive.Overall just a charming and fun store. I find myself walking out with something every time I visit, whether I planned to or not.
