2 hour long wait time to laminate ONE sheet of paper. Manager said its because the Queue is long. And I could probably Try another staples. Im sorry, but its a 2 second long job that you dont have to baby sit. You literally just run it through a machine. Your Queue probably wouldnt be backed up if they learned some efficiency. Instead of adding more onto the list, knock out the 2 second jobs as they come.

We have been shopping with this company for years now, and have spent thousands of dollars in supporting this company. I personally have called your location (Store #1078 Address: 241 E. 17th Costa Mesa, CA), and asked a simple question if they accept old printers that are broken. They told me yes. I again asked if there was a size maximum if I wanted to dispose of the printer. They said no. I also asked if someone would be able to help my co-worker move the printer from her car because she is pregnant, and they said they would have someone help. That same co-worker also called that same day to confirm that they accept printers and that location said yes. The next day I find out that my co-worker(who was French) said that the staff was helpful but the manager comes out in a negative manner yelling at her, stating we don’t accept broken printers. Treating her with no sign of respect and offers to call the police if she doesn’t take that printer somewhere else? She agreed she could take the printer somewhere else but she simply told him she was confused because we as a company called TWICE to confirm that you accept broken printers. The manager denied and said her accusations were not true. I think the staff themselves were helpful helping my pregnant co-worker load the printer back in the car but that manager makes me embarrassed to live in a country that treats foreigners that way.

I came in about an hour before closing one night, and the gentleman in the copy center (to be identified as having a matching male pattern baldness like my own) was extremely accommodating and helpful, despite my little copy and cut project mushrooming from a quick job into almost 40 minutes. The place wasnt busy, but I would find me annoying, I know that! I also couldnt help but overhear him on the phone meanwhile being unbelievably patient with a caller whose complaint/request seemed to be mushrooming just as well !! Endless, yet he was gentle all the while, incredible patience.Inasmuch as I wanted to commend him for dealing with several annoying demands on his patience, all at the same time ~ones that I would find grueling at best, but thats just me~ I feel footsoldiers like himself in the work force who deal with such things day after day, should be singled out for especial credit at times, and thanks, as at least some added compensation for all their hard work.Kudos to you, bro!When are they going to expand this to 10 stars, 5 doesnt cut it ?!Youre the best!

Went to use the copy/printing center. Short wait. The staff were super helpful and they were helping a lot of people at once. There was a constant flow of people while I was doing my thing. I wish I got the girls name who helped me because she was doing an awesome job! Only complaint is how expensive it is to use the computer per minute plus printing.

Called to confirm that they could print and drop-off my USPS item. Got there, Kylie was one of the least helpful employees I could ever imagine. Didnt find the email, barely tried, little efforts to help. Waste of time, go to a more competent store

Every time I go inside, customer service is TERRIBLE. This is the closest location for my shipping and printing needs. I wish management would shape up and make sure their employees are doing their jobs. Employees here always make a big deal out of helping me. It would take me too long to give you a shipping quote. Oh I cant take jobs (I needed 10 pages printed) anymore because close in ten minutes I cant believe how unfriendly and unwilling to help these people are. This is all coming from someone who worked at OfficeMax. None of the problems i experience at staples would EVER have happened in an OfficeMax store. At this staples, Ive had to wait around for ten minutes before anyone helped me in shipping. At the OfficeMax I worked at, everyone would get in trouble if no one assisted the customer immediately. I cant believe this place is still in business for how they treat their customers.

Told to go to different store because they did not have the item I needed so I went there and even though a call was made to verifyi the item was there it wasn’t, there after driving all that way! Believe it or not was told to go to another store and the same thing happened again!!! These people are low wage and don’ t care.

Just biked 4 miles to this store to upgrade to a new laptop because i have always used staples on the east coast. Upon arrival, I was kindly asked to leave my backpack with all of my belongings at the front because its back-to-school season and theres been a lot of theft. The associate added, not that you will, but its store policy. I had confirmed, that it was indeed mandatory, to leave my backpack. Working in retail myself, i sympathize with efforts to cut down on theft/fraudulent activity, but i simply will not be shopping at a store that demands I leave my personal belongings out of sight. The point of a backpack is so that I dont have to carry my things OUT of the backpack. At the minimum, I was going to drop a few hundred dollars today at this location, but I will not be going back to this store. If your store is worried about theft, perhaps you should hire more associates to keep their eyes on the floor. After all, customer satisfaction is of utmost importance and this store has failed miserably. I will be getting my laptop elsewhere.

Generally decent staff in store, but someone could teach them how to use a phone one day. Hung up on 3 separate times and kept waiting for 25 minutes is unacceptable. Im convinced they didnt even check if the item was in stock either, and just told me no.

I was at Staples on 17th Street in Costa Mesa and spotted a Dell computer that was on sale. Since there were 2 computers out I wanted to make sure the computer on sale was the same as the description. The salesman from the tech department assured me it was a Dell touch screen with 1Tb and 8GB. He even told me that since I had a touch screen I would want the insurance. So I went for it. When I got home it was not the same computer. No touch screen 500GB and 4GB. Thinking they simply picked up the wrong computer (I hate to think they did it on purpose) I took it back and got a song and dance. The computer I thought I was getting assured by Gary was actually $699. Not happy.

Called to check if an item was in stock. I spoke with someone at the register who said she would transfer me to someone who could look that up for me. I was on hold for 7 minutes then someone just picked up and hung up. I am currently on minute 5 of being on hold after I called back and this time no one has even picked up the phone at all. I dont care if they even have it, Im buying elsewhere because they cost me 15 minutes of my day. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
