Went in to sell one small bag of clothing today, they didn’t buy any of my stuff but staff weren’t pretentious about it and were quite kind and told me the styles they are looking for so I know my stuff won’t sell here (my wardrobe is classic). If I could go back more than 20 years or so to my 90s wardrobe I would make a mint here! If you’re style is hip on trend pieces you will probably be successful selling here.

Just from the long waiting lines outside the Buffalo Exchange, 5 stars ⭐️ is only fair. The place is so popular. I have been settling across the walkway sipping my Nooks coffee ☕️ for 20 minutes now and still waiting for the line to end.

Went today and was quite disappointed really...I guess times have changed because the last time I went in 2011 They had a great variety of merchandise and variety in sizes most importantly...today i saw nothing like that.I am not exceedingly overweight but I wear about an xl to a 2x in blouses and i saw nothing close to that there except for 2 or 3 items i didnt care for.I loved this store so disappointed is putting it mildly.

The store is small, but they have a lot to choose from. The only reason they didnt get 5 stars is bc the prices are not your usual thrift store prices. So dont go in there expecting to pay $4 for a shirt, itll be $15+. Currently the fitting room is open so you can at least be sure itll fit right before buying. If your item doest work out after youve bought it you have 10 days to return with tags attached and you only get store credit, but there is so much stuff youre bound to find something else. The employees are friendly. Parking is a nightmare on weekends. Youre better off parking at The Camp and walking. Dont park next door at PepBoys, they tow. I found the flare jeans I hadnt been able to find at several other thrift stores, given I paid $30 for them, but they are perfect.

They forgot to remove the ink tag from a pair of pants I purchased a few days ago. I only noticed their mistake after I had washed my clothes. Luckily, the tag did not explode and ruin my entire wardrobe, but this was narrowly avoided. I am very disappointed and dissatisfied.

Extremely disappointing experience, needless to say they’ll never get my business again.Dropped off clothes with them last week and was told I would receive a call within a few days. 5 days later I call to check in, to be told that they had attempted to call me (I had no missed calls in my call log) and that they would look into it. Had to call back 2 days later to check in again, was told they had tried to contact me again (once more, no missed calls in my call log), and that THEY GAVE MY CLOTHES AWAY.

This is the best Buffalo Exchange in terms of buying. After they let go some weird looking woman with tattoos all over and others. If you have like really cool trendy designers clothes I wouldnt sell to them. They wont give much and they dont put it out, simply just would buy it for themselves. It happened to me before when I sold them some nice pieces in the evening before closing and following morning - they didnt have my items! Same in Santa Monica store.

You are trying to sell clothes dont bother, TOTAL RIP OFF!! I took thousands of dollars worth of high end womens clothing to this place for an ESTIMATE!! They never contacted me ,after a week I called the store. The store offered me $50 I refused the offer , Then the manager tells me THE STORE GAVE AWAY THE CLOTHES because I did not contact them, They NEVER CALLED or emailed So the owners Keirstin and Rebecca Block are going to court for PROPERTY THEFT!! THIS WILL BE FUN!!

I knew this place wasnt going to give much when it comes to selling, but I had to laugh when the cashier decided to price my I.AM.GIA pants for $25 (they cost wayyy more than that). I was insulted. They were nice but in a way that was very insincere and almost sarcastic. I brought mainly in style, beautiful clothing Ive never worn just to receive $35. Im not coming back.

The place stinks, they don’t wash the clothes before they sell. The staff is super rude. Will never go again. Edit: owner confirmed they don’t wash clothes before they sell and says they will be more careful on selecting clean clothes. I wonder how they will do that, smell the t-shirts before purchase them? Just wash them already. Even goodwill does that!

Really cute thrift store, great for unique finds (in general, but especially at this location) and really friendly staff. Its a little expensive, but considering it is a resale store and not a true thrift store I guess it makes sense. You get a lot of designer stuff (Michel Kors, Kate Spade, Prada, etc.) as well as really unique finds and stuff that people made/embellished themselves. Theres also a lot of really good drag essentials there for any starting drag queens (or kings, but theres more stuff like drag queen necklaces that cover breastplates and really bold accessories)

Great store for thrifting or selling. A note for sellers: this store is only looking for modern and in-season clothes that are easily sold. Dont be offended if they dont want to buy half of your stuff, its on an as needed basis.

Im only giving 4 stars, because the assistant manager is wicked cool, and should be the actual manager. The actual manager is a navy guy that is very over critical and is in the wrong area.Let me explain, he is very big on motorcycle jackets, okay so I bring one that cost me $300, and he was like those are not the ones Im looking for. Okay, he wants the one that looks like the one Negan was wearing on Walking Dead. Lambskin motorcycle jackets are expensive, and i have three of them, but i know he wouldnt offer me a good price for them, so in the closet they stay. I have a Harley Davidson one, a Ducatti one, and a Milwaukee leather one. Not being sold to him if he is so over critical. Now onto the young buyers behind the counter. They are nice, but what they take changes what seems to be everyday. Fashions change quarterly(with the seasons) not everyday, what someone wheres in fall, wont be what they wear in winter. But, this is southern OC which is mildly cold, and people and young people I mean wear graphic tees, so that should always be in demand, I brought a vintage looney toons, and what they rejected it. But you are a vintage store. The manager said theres wear, of course theres wear, its vintage. thats like telling a person they have wrinkles, of course they do, its called being old, same thing, different context. So in all, if the assistant manager is there take your stuff when she is there, she will at least explain why she wont take anything, he just says there is wear. Let me ask him this. Do you wear your clothes or do you just look at it? clothes that are worn will have wear.

My teen took in 5 bags of clothing; she is very sensitive to style and did not put anything into the bags that was out-of-date or damaged. I watched as the worker picked up each item and folded it in a stack to find out that she rejected most of everything, and most of it really cute. I thought to myself, well, they must have really high standards so let me look around. My teen was awarded $22 in exchange money if we spent it there. (That hardly paid for the gas). She looked around and found a very used pair of platform sandals they were actually asking the same amount for. I was aghast but kept my mouth shut. I looked through the store and honestly, ANY Thrift store in Orange county has a better selection. Their stuff was ugly and very used and not organized well at all. I thought it was me because Im not a teen but afterwards my teen expressed the same thoughts. She was insulted that her stuff was rejected when all her stuff looked better than what they had on their racks. Everyone who goes there is brainwashed by some snooty b.s. that they have the handle on hip or cool. We both concluded that for some reason that person did not like my teen. It was a horrible experience and a TOTAL waste of time which made us feel very insulted.

My job recently announced that we were going to be having a roaring 20’s party with a costume contest at the end of February and I was so excited! However, I looked all over the internet for 20’s style dresses but they were all $50+ with no guarantees they would arrive in time. I was pretty discouraged, but I found some Pinterest ideas to make my own from thrifted dresses. I popped into the Buffalo Exchange at the Anti-Mall on a whim with low expectations. I wasn’t really even intending on purchasing anything but wanted to look around and get some inspiration.I found a bunch of really lovely dresses that possibly could have been modified into a great costume but wasn’t really sold on anything. I mentioned to store attendants Rebecca and Blue that I was looking for something to wear to a 20’s party on the off-chance that they may have seen something around the store that would work.I came out of the fitting room after trying on all the dresses I had found, and Rebecca had a whole stack of dresses that she and Blue had found for me! I tried on a couple from the top of the stack but hidden in the middle was the most gorgeous green and black flapper dress I had ever seen!!! I tried it on and immediately came out to show Rebecca. It fit perfectly!!! I was so excited that even the woman in the fitting room next to me came out to see what all the commotion was about! I was in love! I really didn’t want to even check the price, it was so perfect I was afraid it would be way over my budget. When I finally built up the courage to look, it was $14!!! I couldn’t believe my luck!I went straight to the counter, and not only did Rebecca help me find this amazing dress, she had written out a whole list of stores that sell 20’s accessories and authentic pieces to look for.It made my entire week! I would give this place 10 stars if I could, purely because of the amazing customer experience provided by Rebecca and Blue.Unfortunately the event was postponed so I haven’t put my costume completely together yet, but I will update this review to add a photo at a later time. Thank you both!!

I brought in two bags of vintage sweaters doing winter from the 60s and 70s barely worn by my grandparents and they only bought two (and in my opinion, some of the crappier choices of which I had) They say they buy vintage but most of the clothes on the shelves reflects otherwise. They had gucci on sale. The clerk was nice but they dont seem to be experienced at appraising items. Of course I know Items that are worn even a little have much less value but these were leather and suede jackets worth 50 dollars each at least. I got 13 dollars for both of them.

This location is really racist.. I had all pretty much new stuff and they said it looked to old and they do not sale stuff I had. Two people in line behind me bought some of my stuff and they were from the area. I have gone twice over there and they would not buy from. I go to Fullerton and they take pretty much all of it. If you are looking to sell your clothes do not sell here they will completely rip you off! Not worth the time it youre going to sell. They will offer you $4 for designer jeans and then resell them for $30.Not worth the time shopping either unless you have a lot of time and patience you might find 1 good item. But the selection is pretty bad. Staff is condescending, yet poorly dressed.

If you are looking for >$10 items this is not the place for you (try Deelux), but if you are looking for some high end items at a fraction of the original price then I highly recommend taking the time to visit this place. I got some great Michael Kors boots (new) for $45, that probably retailed for $200+. I also really enjoy the variety of clothing they offer, some used clothing stores only cater to one demographic and while I did feel a little old to be in the store (everyone there seemed to be in teens and early 20s) I found lots of great things.

In my experience in being a frequent shopper, Ive interacted with both lovely sales associates and irritable ones. Seems like a couple employees tend to let their personal lives affect their work and then I feel like Im bothering them when I need help. I come back often because I tend to have good luck finding unique pieces. Theyre picky with their buying for a reason and I think it pays off in the quality of their selection.
