What can I say: Good people, family-owned small business, straight shooters, knowledgeable, and Zed & Rod sold me a quality 2018 Tesla. I have never purchased a pre-owned vehicle from anywhere except for a dealership so I have been gun shy in doing so, but they set up my appointment instantly and followed up with a text within 60 seconds. I had to change my appointment last minute to a few hours later and they accommodated no problem. Upon arriving, Zed took care of me, answered all of my questions, gave me 2 great options on wheels, and because I only drive about 5K miles/year convinced me to spend less and go with a 75D, selecting for me by far the best priced 2018 Tesla X I have seen in 2 months of diligent online research--and the vehicle had less than 29K miles with the factory warranty still in tact. After it was all said and done, I forgot the charger and Zed mailed it to me overnight at no cost.

I just wanted to say that Ideal Motors helped me get into one of my dreams cars. I bought a used 2015 Tesla Model S. Because I was super specific in the Color (white), Sunroof (not all models have it), and unlimited super charging (not all models have it), and additionally (enhanced auto pilot) ... It led me to to buy a vehicle from Ideal motors in Los Angeles from San Diego. I called Ideal Motors and asked if they could help me over the phone since I was from out of town. I was on the call for no more then 5 minutes and they sent me a link for a credit application, pictures, answered all my questions etc. I got a deal sorted out, and approved to pick up the next day. Eli and his cousin (so sorry i forgot his name) were super helpful and informative. I drove up and they inspected the car for me and i test drove for a while. In less then two hours I was out and super happy. The car is was great condition (it had a latch problem that was told to me upfront (with an appointment set) and ideal motors fixed) . I have bought several cars from dealerships over the course of my life. NONE have even come close to the level of customer service youll get at IDEAL MOTORS. They actually answer the phone and will take any amount of time necessary to provide you a comfort level buying, for most, your first Tesla. Eli and Zed took the time to educate me fully about all the options and went over the car thoroughly to address any concerns I may have had before a purchase. They know everything about these cars having sold over 2000 to date. And trust me, there is a lot to know and every other dealer I called was clueless as to what the car actually had and what transferred, etc. Do yourself a favor, if you want a Tesla go buy one from these guys. Top notch service from start to finish.

Pretty good initial customer service with the salesman. Although I came from out of town to purchase a car and drove it back to the Midwest I’ve had nothing but issues registering the suv. I’ve called a few times back to try get input on my situation but a older gentleman answers with poor customer service skills very, agitated and leaves me with a bad experience buying here.

Literally drove up in the last few minutes of the dealership being open and Zed processed all my paperwork while I drove up from San Diego! It would have been really hard to find someone willing to take me to Costa Mesa another day and u would have probably settled for a Tesla here that wasn’t EXACTLY what I wanted! His ability to be so understanding and help my husband and I was nothing short of ok’d school service! My husband and I are both active duty serving 20+ years and we would recommend Ideal motors to everyone!

My wife and I purchased a used Tesla Model X through this dealership. Our salesman was Zed. It was an excellent experience. We were quite picky on the features that we wanted so when one was finally available Zed contacted us right away. It was a straightforward no headache purchase which is such a great thing. I feel that their prices are very fair for the type of car and additions they offer. They even had the car delivered to us here in Santa Maria so we didnt have to spend a day with a infant going back and forth. I would not purchase a used Tesla from anywhere else and hope to do business with them again in the near future.

I worked with Zed, he made it a fantastic experience from start to finish. I was in the market for a Tesla P85D. other options were either overpriced or the cars were in poor condition. This car had all of the features I wanted, and was more reasonable than other places I looked. I was able to test drive the car without the red tape you get from other dealers; after my test drive there wasnt any pressure to buy. I mentioned that there was minor scratches body damage, he said hed pay for the repair. He mentioned that the charging cable was missing and that hed try to find me one shortly. Zed came through on all of his promises! He treats the customers like family, and even bought me tacos. He also helped me install the license plate and was also able to recommend a product to help lubricate the squeaky moon roof.Generally I hesitate to trust dealers, but these guys delivered on every one of their promises and more. I have been searching for months seeking a good reliable gas saving vehicle for my care-giving job thru my SEIU member website. Sure enough I found a beautiful 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid by 1 owner. Clicked it to get a call back from Ideal Motors, and they sure called me back the next business day.I had talked to Zed and Im pleased for him working on getting the car that I really wanted of jumping hoops to get it approved. IDeal Motors is one of the most amazing and helpful dealerships I have ever been to. I totaled my first vehicle last week and had found a car of theirs online. I went to check it out at 7 (their closing time) and see if it was there. It was. Rod (I believe) asked if I needed any help and allowed me to check out the car and eventually bought that car the same night and drove it away an hour later. These guys will work that extra hour and walk the extra mile for you.

I bought a 2007 Cadillac Escalate couple of years ago. Had to do some minor repairs after having it for about a month or so. The truck was making a very loud noise and was shaking a lot when driving it on the fwy. Had to fix it and it came out very pricey. Other than that the truck has been driving better. Thinking of going back to see what other trucks they have now after 4 years with my escalate/

Went to iDeal Motors one Sunday morning. Went to check out one of the vehicle they had in stock. Exterior is clean. Interior could have been cleaner. Once I got there. Eli was the first to help us out. I have read that they let you take a test drive without questions. Except for one, which was do you have insurance. After that I test drove couple vehicles. But the Land Rover LR3 was in my eyes. It drove nice and smooth. I thought I had a good credit. But I guess it wasnt the case. Was denied from couple lenders. But somehow they got me approved by one lender at a good interest rate. Bought the LR3 the same day with warranty coverage. I hope they do send me a small door piece that is missing. But overall it was a good experience no pressure in buying. They work their magic if you do want to buy a car from them.

Be aware.If I could I wont give them any stars.I purchased my Mercedes from them 2 years ago when their name was hybrid motors before they got bunch of lawsuits and had to change their name. I purchased an extandad warranty from them with the car through Alpha.I was tolled that the policy I got its the best Alpha has to offer, that will cover anything on the car.after having issues on my car which was SUPPOSED to be with only 40K miles ( not really sure about that. But I cant proof nothing at this point).I called in Alpha to submit a claim. Then I was told by Alpha that I have lower grade policy which basically not covering anything.on the contract I have the policy type is not listed and there is no record on what Ive paid for which was $2500.When I called ideals/Hybrid motors and asked to update my policy info I got rude response and they basically tolled me that they are not willing to do anything at this point and hung up the phone on me twice.Alpha is not willing to change anything on the policy because thats what the dealer sold me. I basically got paid for the best coverage and got the worst.Now I need to spand more then $4000 repairs on my car that was supposed to be covered if those people wasnt so GREEDY on their profit.Dont buy there anything unless you like to be scammed and spend arm and a leg on your used car with fake miles on the odometer.

I dont usually shop at non-franchise dealers but my wife found an Acura MDX she loved on their website. I was skeptical having bad experiences in the past. But Zed and the entire family are stand up guys. There was a problem with the AC that surfaced the day after we bought the car and they went the extra mile to make it right. They made a repeat customer out of me! Ill for sure be back for my next car

Recommended do not buy car here got a car fax of car showing nothing was wrong assured nothing was wrong by dealer ran the car about 500 miles since buying car and took it to BMW to ask what was wrong and had non engine problems warranty not valid ended up being 3,500 off repairs and ideal wont stick by their product assuring me it was fine with them and making it seem like my fault now stuck with car payment on top of repairs horrible dont recommend they dont stick by their vehicles
