Worked here for 3 years, finally quit a few weeks ago. Super busy with one checker. Everyone who works here is overworked and under paid. We get no respect from management or customers. Cant believe I lasted this long.

Rite aid Drive thru on 17th is better than standing in line and watching people go into the Government room to take the poison Dart jab which will kill your immune system and kill you. People are sheep and will jump in the boxcar when told and off to the fema camps.

This 5 star review is ONLY for the incredible pharmacy team working tirelessly to get people their medications and administer vaccines…For the owners of Walgreens, shame on you for not giving this team the proper resources and support staff they need to operate efficiently through this pandemic. They are having to run two completely separate businesses between the pharmacy and vaccine administration and we can all tell - THEY ARE TIRED! They do not let us know this though as they always serve with a smile on their face and optimistic attitude. However it’s clear that they are tired and need support. Be better Walgreens ownership.

Hands down the most disrespectful and least helpful pharmacist I’ve ever been to. The best way I can summarize my experience is that they project the stress of whatever is going on internally onto innocent customers. I tried to pick up my monthly medication (for the second time at this location) and basically got told to screw off because my doctor didn’t live close enough to here, even though he is only about an hour away from the area I just moved from. I told them this is the first time I’ve been informed of this rule, and the doctors who accept my insurance are typically hard to get an appointment with without advanced planning. They also said because I was picking it up literally 4 days early that I needed to show them a travel itinerary, which has never been asked of me before in the multiple instances in which I’ve had to do this. I’ve had the same medication for I don’t even know how many years, and now I will be deprived of it when I crucially need it. The worst part is that the pharmacist wouldn’t even look me in the eye when he was saying this because he knew he was being rude and genuinely did not care. Absolute, blatant disrespect out of nowhere. They’re a wealthy corporation and people will keep going to them strictly because they need their medicine, so they can probably get away with treating people as such without any negative repercussions. But if you have an option to go literally anywhere else, I strongly recommend avoiding these jerks at all cost.

Great pharmacy! Plenty of parking. Was greeted warmly immediately upon entering. Pharmacy staff very nice, efficient and responsive, especially Andrew. Would recommend.

Without fail, the Rx pickup line is at best a 20 minute wait, with or without a long line. I’ve had my Rxs here for almost a year and am finally going to switch. The management doesn’t seem to care about this customer service lapse. Today was 40 minutes with only 2 people ahead of me. I don’t get it, but am over it. In addition to that issue, one drug that costs $72.40 at Rite Aid costs over $140 here (same strength,#, etc). Very expensive. But, I gave an extra star because they have a good beauty supply selection at good prices. A very aggravating experience each time I come, whereas CVS and RiteAid is great and friendly.

Rude older women, didnt care about helping us. She just swayed and said I cant help you. So we just left. Didnt find a way to help us or atleast try. Bad customer service experience.

The guy at the counter wanted to ID me and my wife for asking to buy 2 packs of cigarettes for myself. We went to buy toilet paper and I asked for two packs of cigarettes. The guy at the counter asked for our IDs. I asked ‘why’ if I’m the only person who smokes. He said it was company policy to ID everyone. So, if I return with my elderly mom, 10 yr old son, and wife, we ALL have to show our ID’s? Shopped at Walgreens regularly for last 10 yrs and never been asked for everybody’s IDs to buy cigarettes. Not a convenience store anymore if that’s the case.

I love this place. Everyone is always helpful. It is open 24 hours. Parking is easy in easy out. Well organized, and easy to find things. The aisles are parallel to one another, unlike one chain, so it is easy to find the correct aisle.

The pharmacy is always slow, extremely slow. Not enough people working the registers and last time I was there the cashier left with a 5 person line to go on a ten minute break instead of trading off with someone. The girls are nice and I come to this location for convenience but dont come here if youre rushing anywhere.

Went in last night to buy Renaissance Faire tickets as advertised, and they did have promotional items for discount tickets at every register. However, none of the employees were able to ring up the tickets. An employee asked me to come back tomorrow when he could call a main number for assistance. I came back in the afternoon the next day, and the same employee - who remembered me from the night before - tried to again ring up the tickets without success. Obviously they did not try to rectify the problem from the night before. He called the aforementioned number for help, but did not get the problem fixed. After a 20 minute wait - he simply told me he couldnt do it and to go to a different Walgreens. I asked him for the location of another Walgreens that could successfully complete the transaction - and he just said do you have your cell phone?. I requested that he call the other stores in HIS company and find one that could successfully sell me the tickets, to which he was clearly annoyed. I advised that I shouldnt have to drive around from store to store (none of which are close by) to run into the same issue - and also because when I try to call, all I get is a recorded menu of options and rarely get through to an employee to ask my question. Although clearly annoyed at my demand, he finally came out from the back almost 10 minutes later to tell me to drive 12 miles away to the next store that confirmed they could do it. Other than the lady that was working the makeup counter (who was nice) - the other employees did not care about my request and became annoyed at me when they couldnt easily complete the task, and acted as if I were the one putting them out - rather than them refusing to make good on a product they were advertising.

Worst service possible. Never again. 5 people working ( wandering around ) in the pharmacy. One half-wit on the register... 30 minute wait to be told 30+ minutes for one basic simple prescription. Fire the lot. Get new staff or shut this store down. Courtesy flush the bowl for the sake of the neighborhood.

Woke up in the middle the night went to Walgreens at 3:30 AM looking for nasal spray for my allergies. Notice the price was 13.99 when I got to the register she want to charge me $22. First and foremost it was the horrible attitude I was greeted with at the register. Since Ive been a long time homeowner of 20 years in Costa Mesa I will never spend another dollar into Walgreens. Rite aid is right down the street with a lot better personality working for the company. Something is wrong at the store if you go in and look at the date on the milk there very close to expiration. They might not be doing as well they should be. Maybe they should look at customer support first. I wont go into detail of how she acted or what she did to make me never come back again. But if I was the storeowner and spent all the money that I did to buy Blockbuster building to have this type of customer service would not be acceptable.

This walgreens is weird. Its brand new yet seemed super dirty and the bathrooms were disgusting. Its nice that its right off the 55 but honestly Id rather go to one of the many drug stores off 17th street than this one. There was also a bunch of homeless people on the corner near it. Made the area seems kind of shady.
