I have taken a while to write this review, 3 yrs to be exact. The car we bought from Select auto was an absolute lemon. And this was a car we bought from a friend, D. He told us at the time of the sale that a mechanic had looked over the car and said it was in spectacular condition. Well over the past 3 yrs we have put 9000 dollars into this horrible car.As he is the father of one of our neighbors and knew full well about the challenges we had, I would have expected a simple acknowledgement and maybe an apology. Instead whenever he came to his familys house (again directly across the street) he avoidEd even looking in my direction even when I was standing in my front yard.To say I am disgusted by this type of behavior from a salesperson is a huge understatement. Being a salesperson myself, I know this type of behavior and lack of integrity is exactly how one earns poor reviews and loses the benefit of repeat business and referrals.I would never do business of any type with either of the two owners and will continue to do everything I can to make people aware of the horrible experience I have had.If I could give zero stars I would!

Buying a used car is scary. This was one of the only times I never got that vibe. There’s no fancy wait room or cappuccino offered but I got a really good car at a very good price and the whole thing didn’t take me long at all so I’d rather not get the cappuccino and just have a great car at a good price. Will definitely be recommending this place to my friends.

It literally took me longer to drive here from Burbank than it did to purchase the car. My drive was two hours my time at the dealership was about one. It’s an independent dealership so don’t expect anything big or fancy but the prices reflect the low overhead I’m being the bargain shopper that I am that’s all I care about. Overall great experience.

At the beginning I had a lot of questIons about how they have the nicest selection of 7.3L diesel truck inventory. I really appreciated the time they took to make sure my question were answered honestly. The best part was to listen to the producers knowledge about each truck and found their information to be right on the money!Now, I was looking for a very specific year/model and engine type, and they had several trucks to choose from that were in fantastic condition. I also liked that I never felt pressure to buy, or felt like I was getting a sales pitch when talking about the truck options. I really felt like they were committed to giving me all the information I needed to make the right decision for myself.They choose really high quality used trucks that are clean mechanically and cosmetically. I was able to test drive several trucks, and decided on the one that was the best fit for me and my family. The purchase process went very smoothly, and I really appreciated how transparent everything was throughout the process. Having driven our truck now for a few weeks, we are really happy with our experience with buying at Select Auto and we love the truck we ended up with. Thank you

Mike is very professional dealer. He handles his cars with a lot of care, he gave me a bargain price for a fantastic car. He must get the cars for free, the way he gave me a great deal. He was accommodating, knowledgeable and helpful. He provide me with the Carfax of my car, he got me an extra key for the vehicle too. Very fair price, exceptional service. This guy really just went the extra mile for me. I’m really glad I got my vehicle with Select Auto OC.

After a couple weeks of looking at different cars and even visiting a couple dealerships only to have awful experiences in Newport Beach as well as Tustin I was just about ready to throw in the towel and bite the bullet and just lease something new - Which is not the smartest financial move to make long-term. I found a really good deal at select auto online and I figured it’s only five minutes away from my work so why not check it out I was expecting a bait and switch because of my bad experiences but to my surprise the car was exactly like it was in the photo at the exact same price. After checking it out during my lunch break I came back the next day and purchased it. This place is like a hidden little gem of car dealerships. I’m going to stay in touch with Mike and his team in case Myself or any of my family members want a car in the near future.

This was by far the quickest purchase I’ve ever had in my life buying a car. It literally took about 45 minutes total. No upsell , no BS just a real smooth process.

Select Auto OC is a hidden little gem for anyone looking to purchase a car. The cars are nice, clean and most importantly priced very reasonably. I was on a budget but wanted something that ran well and still looked good and after visiting several other dealerships to only lead to disappointment finally my patience paid off. I got a car im really happy with at a price that was within my budget. Couldnt be happier! I will be recommending you guys to my friends and family.

Swung by after finding a car I liked on CarGurus listed. I was a bit surprised at first because the car was priced so low so I was expecting the old bait and switch which ive deal with at other dealers before in previous shopping experiences but to my surprise it was all legit, fast and easy. Mike could not have been any friendlier and more straightforward - The whole process took less than 50 minutes and we left with a very nice looking and fair priced car. Was 50 minutes late to our appointment and then all of a sudden wanted all cash in hand for a test drive. What did you think I called you and came all the way from San Diego to just sit in it and buy it without test driving? The banks were closed how did you expect any financing even when I told you I would be buying cash!
