Ace hardware in Coshocton is basically where you go if your needing correct, honest advice or you need the right bolt the FIRST time. Great selection. Decent staff. Some of the older generation could smile a little more but regardless they always help the customer in a timely manner. Always stocked, clean parking lot and store just be prepared to pay small business prices. Everything here is more expensive but for the most part the advice and selection of quality items is USUALLY worth the extra cash. Super service dog friendly. Definitely better than Lowes, wal mart or home Depot. If your needing advice no matter what the project, start here.

Ordered an expensive electronic speed control on 6-21, , asked them to ship fast as the race is 6-27……. They sent it first class mail with no insurance…….. ounces around Indianapolis 11 times and has been sitting in Fort Wayne for 2 days!!…….I am thoroughly disgusted and will no be placing any future orders with a company that does business in such a manner!

Went to Ace after spending over an hour trying to get electric wire which they gave us the wrong wire. Ace had what we needed and helped with the extras. I was in and out within 10-15mins. Wonderful customer service 😃

They have the largest ace hardware I have ever been in. Prices seem to be lower than other ace hardware stores and sell all the products you would expect and many things you wouldnt expect. Have a large selection of rc cars/trucks and parts at good prices. Definitely my go to hardware store with very friendly employees.

I had a water heater problem where I had to return a tank. I got to the store right as they where closing and still got help and a new tank. Im happy to say I have hot water again.

I ordered online to be picked up in store by my immuno-compromised father to avoid going in store and possible virus exposure. He always supports Auer Ace in our town, spending thousands of dollars a year knowing prices may be cheaper elsewhere. Supporting a locally owned business is a priority to him and our family. He has successfully avoided entering any store for a month now by ordering online for pick up. Today was a different and so terrible that this store and all Ace chains + online have lost his business forever.Last time we ordered online the store associate encouraged us to call in and order for pick up instead. Today, he tried doing that and was passed around to three people before getting frustrated enough to try having me order online again. He had a previous order to be picked up and stopped at the store. Usually they have the order ready at the door. Instead today he was made to travel through the entire store and check out at the register. This store is normally pretty dirty with the last deep clean/remodel looking like it happened 20+ years ago. Today was no exception although they did install plexiglass at the register. Risking his health to walk through one of the dirtiest stores in town plus the frustration with the store associates has now encouraged us all to shop elsewhere.Thankfully a Menards has opened in New Philadelphia. Although its a little further to travel they make sure to keep their customers safe by allowing pick up in an isolated, designated area. Its a much cleaner store. Their prices are usually significantly cheaper. Our current situation is showing what businesses care about their customers health and safety. Auer Ace Hardware does not.

Great hardware store and more, the staff there really know their business, and will go out of their way to help, give ideas, make suggestions, if its not in stock, they will have it for you very quickly, usually in a day or two, its my choice for building needs( other than lumber ) plumbing, lighting, electrical, pool accessories, paints and stains, faucets and sinks, grass seed and fertilizer, bicycles, chainsaws and weed eaters, and all the tools you can imagine, if you cant find it here, just ask the great staff...

Used to shop here all the time and loved it. Not sure if theyve lost quality employees or what, but my last few experiences with them have been terrible. My most recent experience was when I called in today. The guy sounded miserable and snapped at me when I attempted to be polite and asked how he was, What do you want?! Theres not many people here today. I then said, After that, never mind. Have a good day, and hung up. The entire conversation lasted 21 seconds.If youre not bothered by waiting to check out until the cashier is done talking with his friend that has been there since before you entered the store, grabbed five or six items, and meandered for a while or by being treated as if youd killed the cashiers puppy, then spend your hard earned dollars here.

This place is a joke! I went in to warranty out a 1/4 Craftsman ratchet and there were 3 people standing behind the counter and all three said they werent dealing with doing a warranty. So I had to wait 15 minutes for someone to come up and tell me that they couldnt warranty it because I didnt buy it there. SMH. Then while I was standing there someone asked for help and the guy behind the counter told the guy which isle to go to and when he couldnt find the isle the ace employee yelled at him. I have never seen more incompitant people in my life.
