This place is awesome! The had dairy free options making it an allergy friendly place for my family.The portions were large and the service was excellent! I loved the moose theme!There are not a lot of dessert places that can accommodate gluten free, dairy free, and egg free diets. Whenever we find one it is an absolute gem.We highly recommend this shop!

The service was great! The young lady working there should get a raise. The ice cream itself was good, but nothing special. A few flavors were really good, some were bad, but most were just okay.

If you want refreshing ice cream this is it! Flavors like watermelon, ginger blueberry, Mayan chocolate (comes with a little punch of spicy), and all the classic flavors too. Tina was so courtoues she even asked which flavor I preferred on the bottom. Rachel, keep up the great flavors!Currently only outdoor setting but some of it is in the shade.

Wow! We stopped at this cute, ice cream shop on the way home to Arizona! We were greeted with the friendliest staff. We tried a few different flavors and wow! I would like to call myslef an ice cream connoisseur and I would give this place a 10/10! So glad we stopped in Cortez and try this place out! Thanks for a great experience! Yum

The ice cream, sorbet, and gelato here is of excellent quality and flavor! Well worth a stop on hot day. Not a million different flavors, but each one was creative and flavorful.

The ladies behind the counter really know how to give amazing advice on what to mix. I would chose this shop rather then the bigger companies.

Delicious homemade ice cream! Owner was super friendly. I got the honey blue cornbread flavor, which is made from local honey and cornbread made from local blue corn. A unique flavor that was actually really good! We also tried the chocolate and a few other flavors, all were good. Happy we stopped in.

I was so impressed by the honey blue cornbread ice cream. I rarely try anything other than just chocolate because I like it so much, and I was blown away with how good the unique flavors were. The portion for 2 scoops is totally worth $6, I could have easily spilt it with a friend.The people at the counter were so friendly and recommended lots of flavors to try.

My Ice cream had a good flavor but the texture was a little gritty. The flavors the other people in my party got did not have a gritty texture. And the turtle I bought was also not great. The caramel in it had an odd texture as well. For the prices and that it advertised itself as gourmet, I would have expected more attention to detail.

Delicious and unique ice cream! The honey blue cornmeal ice cream was amazing. I liked the sampler plate, with the mini scoops of different types of ice cream. I wish they were just a little bigger scoops, considering they were a dollar a scoop. Using local ingredients in the ice cream was a nice touch. Would visit again if Im in the area.

Brent is an awesome dude! The ice cream is made with natural and local ingredients. Plus its possibly the best Ive ever had. Try the green chili with the triple berry pie! You wont be disappointed with any of their flavors.

My wife and I were so glad when an ice cream shop came to town. Too many ice cream places open but they dont make their own ice cream. Moose and More makes EVERYTHING. Ice cream fillings/flavors and the ice cream itself. Also, the chocolates are great. Love this place.

Great dessert and nice folks! We love finding locally owned places to shop and Moose and More certainly filled the bill. We stopped here for dessert after dinner last week in Cortez. The young lady who was one of the co-owners was delightful and quite friendly and the ice cream and chocolates were excellent. We stopped in after spending the day at Mesa Verde. We sampled many flavors and each was delicious! We enjoyed visiting with Brent and came home with an extra pint as well as chocolate. Dont miss this gem!

Quality over quantity. not that they give small portions (they are generous) but they focus on a few ice cream, gelato, and sorbet flavors. I did not try the chocolate but if it is anything like the ice cream it will be scrumptious. a local place all about the goodness

These place was delicious! The owners were generous with their samples (which are varied and unique) and freely shared their story with us of how they came to be running a sweet shop in Cortez! Between the 5 of us, we had coffee, salted, caramel, caramel apple, muddy moose, chocolate, cookies and cream, and honey lavender flavors. Not one of them was less than excellent! Wish theyd open up a shop in Michigan!

The service was amazing. The man helping us was so passionate about everything and was able to help us find the perfect ice cream for our taste. Loved all the homemade and unique flavors. Definitely a place to visit if you are passing through Cortez.

Really good ice cream and gelato and they even have sorbet for those whore dairy free. Overall good place, nice aesthetic.

The salted caramel gelato is divine. The chocolates are also fantastic. The cookies for the cookie sandwich could have been softer and the shake had a little too much milk. Both were good but could be great with a little tweaking. All in all a great place we will go back to.
