Helpful,courteous, but didnt know much about battery post.

Was driving from Washington state to New Mexico and had a coolant leak in Monticello Utah on a holiday weekend. I realized I wouldn’t be able to get coolant for several days so I Got my car towed to this Auto Zone after confirming they had the right coolant. After my coolant leaked out completely while in the parking lot, the manager Michael, a literal angel on earth, came out to look under my hood. He found there was a screw missing and then replaced the screw and fixed my car! I really don’t know what I would have done without Michael and I am so glad I stopped here! The rest of the staff was very nice as well, but Michael low key saved my life. THANK YOU MICHAEL!!!

Terrible place. Went in for help with brighter head lights and the kid sold me the exact same wattage of lights as the standards that are in my car already(not a car person). I come back to return them, waiting first in line for another employee to help when I turned around to speak to my daughter Andrew apparently called and since I didnt hear him in 2 seconds he helped some lady he KNEW instead. He then stood there making small talk and when I pointed out I had been next in line INSTEAD of apologizing he said he had called for me. I am hard of hearing and to just say it one time knowing I had been standing there is TERRIBLE customer service. I will never come back. I HIGHLY recommend teaching your employees what customer service IS. Because that was NOT ok.

Paid over $200 (with core charge) for a gold top battery. 1-yikes! $189 for a battery. 2- no longer has the cool gold top. Undoubtedly cheaper to make all black. The folks there are friendly and helpful, but lord o mighty the prices are getting too me.

The best service I have ever had in the city of Cortez. I never lifted a finger. Andrew was polite, courteous, very helpful and knowledgeable. I had 2 encounters today at other businesses who chose to help other people even though I was there before them so Andrew restored my worth today. He used aome cool tools so I bought same kind he used afterwards though he never uttered a word about the tools. He truly is a great employee! I was very impressed and thankful.

Love getting parts to work on my race car

I like this autozone location. I used to like the one in Montrose, CO until I had a bad experience.

Got what I was looking for pretty easily, without help.

These guys sold us the wrong spark plugs ended up they hit the piston and cracked the piston. Thanks a lot! I called to the corporate office they just gave me the run around. Ended up ruining a $7000 motor! Napa will have my business not here

I pulled into Auto Zone because the car I bought 3 weeks ago was warning me to check battery charging and had shut down all non vital things. I was in town with my 6 year old daughter and new puppy and scared to try and drive the 8 miles home. The young man, Matt, was very nice and helpful and reassured me it would be fine to drive home. He didnt treat me like an ignorant female like so many in the auto parts word do . Thanks again Matt we made it home safe.

This store provides an extraordinary high level of service.I was stuck with a dead battery (that I knew needed to be replaced) at City Market, 3 miles from the store. Ricky met me at City Market with a replacement battery, and installed it right there.

They are very quick at helping customers

I came in looking for hose clamps. A new employee jus stood there watching me search didnt offer to help. I approached him at the register there was no hi how are you can I help you. I had to address him to get him to respond. The next day i called looking for an idler pully same employee answered the phone. He said something very quiet i had to put my phone on speaker max volume to hear him. Was rude when the call was over he didnt thank me or even say goodbye.

We stopped by AZ in Cortez because we had a tail light out. We knew of AZ’s stellar reputation in the Midwest so felt confident of getting what we needed during our vacation. Patrick greeted us immediately upon entering then looked up the part needed. He was efficient, helpful and friendly. After our purchase, he installed the bulb for us and double checked that it worked before putting the tail light assembly back on the vehicle. Thank you AZ and Patrick for your consistent customer service and great prices.

Great customer service. Even when they are busy and seem to be irritated or tired they will help a person out. All they need is good customers who understand not every problem can be solved at auto zone but boy do they try.

The best service of any Auto Parts chain anywhere. I have been a customer at AutoZone since it was Auto Shack, for at least 30 years. When I die, they will send me a core charge on my corpse.

If it was the first time I might be understanding however every time we call this location to inquire about a part their clerks are disinterested in being helpful. When you have to keep repeating the same information over and over and start to get frustrated they simply say nope we dont have it and hang up. Every other auto parts store in Cortez including the parts departments at the the dealerships have better customer service and a more knowledgeable staff than this particular Autozone.

Making this review for my husband. Id give less if I could. Very poor customer service. Went in for a fuse. A customer was in the store waiting at the register. He said he was there for 5 minutes. Called for a cashier, one of the 4 employees said he get us as the next customer. There should be at least 1 person at register at all times. GOT THE SAME FUSE AT SUPERIOR AUTO FOR A DOLLAR LESS AND 3 MORE FUSES. And they have some one at the cash register at all times.

This store is alright, not the best though. I had to go in 3 separate time to get the right part. They ordered a few parts the first time, it not only took over an hour to get the parts but when I returned the next day to pick them up one of the parts was the wrong part. I then had to buy another part which one of the employees said it would Fit my purpose just as well as the other one. My friend who is a mechanic then told me it wouldnt because they gave me the wrong size. So I then had to return again to the store and buy the correct size which again took over an hour because they were having so many problems helping other customers. If youre looking for a good automotive store in Cortez, I would recommend OReillys over this store.

Go to Oreillys or NAPA... A Zone has intelligence problems with the employees they hire... 🤔

Hate autozone.But first experience was decent. No windshield washer fluid that I wanted though...wasnt happy to see nearly a $1 upcharge vs wally world.
