Love Love LOVE Coronado Bliss! I have gone to Coronado Bliss for about 1.5 years after a not so great experience at another salon. I have seen all of the stylist and they are ALL amazing! The front desk is always super accommodating and friendly and the entire staff is very professional! Lysa typically does my balayage, Brigitte gives the best blowouts, and Ruben’s scalp massages are INCREDIBLE! Could not recommend Coronado Bliss enough!! The Before and afters say it ALL!!!

I’ve had the most amazing experience at the salon. The ladies are so sweet and caring. Brigitte did such an amazing job on my hair, she was so nice and I was really thankful that she took a lot of time to work on my hair. I have very thick hair and she had patience and did such a good job. I’m gonna come back here when I visit Coronado again.

Beautiful and Professional Salon! Visiting Coronado from out of state, I came to Coronado Bliss for a much needed haircut, and I was so impressed. I have been to many salons over the years, and rarely do you find one as professional and clean as this one. The entire staff is friendly, and the Aveda Tea is an added bonus!

My hair is really difficult to cut, and they do a great job! I love their service and products that I continue to use. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for great quality and service.

I live in Arizona & came to Coronado for a last minute trip right when I was due to get my haircolor done. I was hesitant to try a new salon but I felt confident after reading the Coronado Bliss reviews. The whole experience was above & beyond. Setting up the appt eased any worries I had, their front desk was so kind & informative. I was booked with Denise & I cant say enough great things about her. Her timing was prompt, her consultation was thorough & her work was AMAZING. I am so thankful that I gave them a shot but also regretting it as I find myself wishing this was my regular salon! Amazing staff, beautiful salon & awesome experience.

EVERYONE here is so great & professional. I’ve seen Denise for 4 years; she has done a phenomenal job every time. I bring the almost impossible, and she gets the job done. Aveda will always be my favorite product.. to find a staff that provides is hard, but I found the gem!

I came in to see Ruben for a haircut and I absolutely loved it! He was so sweet and made me feel comfortable. He listened to what I wanted and came out even better than I expected. Very nice, friendly laid-back conversation. I have never had a better experience at a hair salon. Staff was very polite, the place really clean. So happy I finally found my hair stylist!

I had the pleasure of having Kenzie do a full highlight. She is very professional, personable and sweet.Usually my husband does not notice anything different, but this time he was full of compliments. And I agree, it is the best my hair has ever looked. Too bad I don’t live in California.

As a Wedding Planner here and a local for 30 years I have been sending my out of state brides to Coronado Bliss for make-up. I was so upset to hear how one of my brides who flew in from CO for her make-up trial was treated! They were not prepared to do her trial and worse they added on a travel fee from their location 3 blocks away to the El Cordova Hotel! Gouging is so wrong! That is just laughable! My experience was great, even though Im the one who kinda backed out of my original plan to get bangs for the first time. So when I called 3 weeks later to book a 15 min cut to my surprise there was no charge. How upstanding is that? (Still TIP YOUR STYLIST)It does take longer for the sac to dry than for me to find my way out of it, so Im positive it is time for a touch up. Perfect name for your establishment I have truly felt BLISSFUL since getting rid of the monster I used to refer to as my hair.Thanks so much Brigitte for my original service and everyone elses help cleaning up my inability to make a final decision. I went here for a root touch and hair cut. Teri did a fantastic job! She took her time and made sure I was happy! She was very friendly! I will definitely come back here!

Touch and hold a clip to pin it. Unpinned clips will be deleted after 1 hour.Probably the only place since moving to California that Ive trusted someone to touch my hair , be it haircuts or styling, very friendly staff and they try to accommodate to your needs as best as they can! This time I was lucky to be a walk in but most of the time appointments are required to book in advance! I guess thats just a testament to how good they are. My favorite part is that even if I wait,they have a delicious tea to accompany you before your appointment!

I’ve been going here for 8 years and Denise has been doing my hair the whole time. She is great with everything especially color. She has great recommendations if i want something different. I always go away happy. The whole salon is nice and helpful. I always recommend this place to friends.

Bliss is a very relaxing, calming salon. Im greeted with a cup of tea. Jessica is a wonderful stylist and fun. Alexis and I exchange book titles. I love the products, my hair feels soft and Jessica even taught me how to style it--Im rather hopeless in this regard! This is my salon.

The price was very reasonable and something strange happened when I walked out of the doors. I grew an inch taller, my muscles worked better, and people I passed on the sidewalk stared and smiled. As I saw my reflection in store windows I noticed that dr Seuss was walking alongside me. He mouthed that I was destined to be the leader of the free world and nodded his head in assurance, the tall hat bobbing on his head... Love! love! this hair salon- I have been going here for over 6 Years+ and my hair stylist has been Denise, she is awesome!, I always walk away feeling like a million bucks, she does wonderful cuts and color, and is just a joy to visit with.

Sorry. I didn’t have a good experience here at all. Check in was non-existent. Front desk (Whitney) too busy to do so. Was given Teri. Didn’t like the color at all and took way too much time. I felt like it was more about what she wanted to do and nothing about what I wanted. I wouldn’t return and couldn’t endorse the salon.

We always have a great experience at Coronado Bliss from the minute you walk in the door. Alexis and Jessica do great makeup and Monique has made my hair look the best it has looked in years! And, their rates are decent.Im not a Coronado local and was visiting for a wedding do. I decided to use their service after reading the stellar reviews about them on Yelp and on this forum. Maxine did my hair, while Mariah did my makeup. Both Maxine and Mariah have very skilled hands and a very personable attitude. They gave me just the look I was expecting - natural, subtle, and well-blended. Thank you, to you both!I had forgotten to pack my personal makeup removing cleanser, and wanted to check if they had something that I could buy from their wide display of merchandise. A big thank you to the sweet lady at the help desk who gave me a complimentary sample of AVEDA cleansing oil and some soft cotton to remove my makeup post the event. And, I really liked when you asked me - Do you look beautiful; do you feel beautiful? Yes, I definitely felt beautiful from the inside, and it was entirely because of the great service I received at your salon that day!If I were based in Coronado, I wouldve really loved to come to this nice place every so often. This Aveda salon is my favorite by far! On my vacation in San Diego I walked by and happened to notice the salon (it was a little hidden). The lady at the front desk scheduled me for a haircut the next day! Angela was so sweet and informative. I felt like a hair model after my appointment, she did an amazing job. I cant wait to come back and get my hair colored with her. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone!

Teri took my sad waist length waves and brought them back to life as bouncy curls. My hair was dead, bleached from not getting my hair cut in ages, and now it’s night and day. A real spa experience from the moment you walk into Bliss. My only complaint is that the scalp massage be longer. lol. I even treated my daughter Natalie to a day at the Salon and her next visit will be in June. My next visit will be the end of this month. Maxie is awesome!! The health of your hair is a priority. My favorite salon! Denise is amazing and I can always count on her for a great experience every time I visit. I would highly recommend her and especially for anyone who loves to be blonde! She has helped me more than once go from dark to blonde without damaging my hair as other salons are known to do.
