Went in for a basketball for my kid. For some reason I thought their prices would be high but theyre not!! Manager was super friendly and helped us find what we needed.

After waiting over 20 minutes at the guns and Ammo counter. A gentleman finally shows up with an attitude.Does not answer any of my questions. Have no Idea what I am looking for. I kept asking him what you have in 12 gauge steel shots. Kept showing me the lead shots which is illegal in the state of california to shoot birds with.Not recommended.

Bought a new rolling cooler. Most all stores were sold out because of 4th of July. They had a good selection. Price was fair.

Everyone was helpful. Girl at the register was pretty kind and friendly. Overall, good.

Went in last Friday looking for a portable basketball hoop but was not ready to buy. Returned the following day and was helped by the store manager who was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, & generous. She assited in making my purchase experience the best! Will definately recommend all friends in family to this store!

Last minute rush to get hiking boots for a Yamaha event that I waited until the last minute to do! I looked online and Big 5 popped up with some that were inexpensive. Hoping that they actually had them was a hit or miss so I took my chance and took my boys over there. Sure enough not only did they have them but the gentleman that helped us recommended something else that might be sturdier for riding dirt bikes but just as inexpensive. AND I was even able to get my friends boys shoes too! They had all the sizes I needed! I couldnt have asked for a more perfect moment. Thank you for saving the day!

Called for sporting clays. Sales Rep said in stock. I asked her to physically check. After 5 or so min on hold, she said yes in stock. Drove 15 min and none were in stock. I spoke with 2 other reps there and both stated out of stock for at least a week. On the plus side, there was ammo in stock...

Well how can I explain this experience at big 5 sporting goods store? Dont get me wrong I love the place ,everything under the sun for the sports enthusiast ! Nike, Puma , Converse and so on, shoes , sweats , slippers ( when the last time you saw a sporting event were the participants were wearing slippers?) Anyway I with my girlfriend and she has to have a Nike hoodie in black ( my favorite color) we look and look they have pink and white and blue and red , but not a black one to be found ? This trip to big 5 was like going to the market for milk and bread , a $150.00 later you get home and got no bread or milk , but we had ice cream and cake with potato chips!

I have shopped at this location for 20 years! Always has what your looking for, and at a reasonable price.Definitely a go to sporting goods store.

Good pricing on shoes and friendly customer service but thats about it, these stores are not for the claustrophobic for sure.. everything is so close to each other and there is very little room for you to walk, they need to open up how they stock their stores...even with good prices on sport shoes I rather shop where it feels a bit less chaotic and more room for me to move...and no i am not a large woman..thats not my complaint...just redecorate and bring a fresh approach to your stores.

No one knew where fitness center was. She pointed to the back corner when in fact it was in the middle. Finally had to ask for helpGuy came and had no idea what I was looking for. I couldnt help him look because aisles were a foot apart. Not exaggerating. I am in a wheelchair. When he couldnt find it he just walked away. He didnt say a word. I have four sons from 19 to 40, all of whom played numerous sports, as did I. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED LIKE THIS IN A BIG 5 STORE.Since the 70s we have spent thousands of dollars with this chain.

How to exchange a pair of boots did it with no problem at all was able to receive the size I needed large stock on hand.

The girl behind the firearms counter was annoyed and displeased by being spoken to. Usually I have a pleasant experience at the BIG 5 in Corona. The cashiers are usually polite informative and helpful. It only takes a single bad experience to change a persons whole opinion on a business. Hopefully (if I ever go back there) she wont be working there anymore. If she is, Ill have someone else help me.

Manager greeted me as soon as I stepped into the store. Asked how she could help and pointed me to the sandals. I have not been to this store in years so a nice friendly greeting was quite welcomed!

I came to the store and saw the basketball on sale. When I checked out. He said it’s not on sale. I showed them the sign and he said, we just go by the bar codes not the signs, all the on sale signs from last week. I love Big5, but i will never come back to this store again.

Came here to buy shoes and look at camping gear. Although crowded with non-buying people who were sitting in all of the seats where you are supposed to sit down and try on the shoes, I finally got some shoes that I liked. Found some great camping items Id like to buy, but too many items didnt have prices and I didnt have the time to waste. So, maybe Ill come back or maybe Ill buy them from Amazon.

In my opinion the prices seem fair for everything , the staff treats clients well, and will often go out of their way to help, especially if theirs a sale. Great store :D

Have you ever been to a big 5 that didnt have 20-something employees that didnt look like they werent absolutely pissed and bitter to not be home sleeping? This store is actually staffed with some folks that are generally very helpful.
