Today is my Anniversary and my husband stopped by to get cake for me because Im disabled and Im not able to go out to dinner tonight, too much pain today. So he brings me a big cupcake that looks like a hostess cupcake with the swirl across the top. It looked good but when I broke it open it was dry, really dry. There was no cream inside, oh wait, theres a tiny white dot in the center toward the top of the cake. I broke more off. Theres the.... Cream? Nope. Wasnt cream. Was frosting, the same sugar filled frosting that they used to put those white swirls on the top. Not the fluffy, smooth bakers cream that should be inside and It wasnt filled with it with, there was maybe a marble sized blob. Very disappointing especially for an upscale market.

What wonderful staff very cordial the preparation food assistance manager wonderful! the Store manager Mr John cordial and knowledgeable about the preparation food! my family enjoy at fantastic lunch! Used to love this store. However, since Amazon took it over it lost a great deal of the local product and produce. The meat counter used to have great unique offerings that were delicious. Not anymore. Its been Amazonized 😉

Great selection of prepared food. They use fresh ingredients and usually change up the options frequently. The rotisserie chickens are always good. We have purchased quite a bit of fish and meat/steaks to cook at home and have been impressed with the freshness and quality.

Looks like a well stocked store. High end with deli, fresh vegetables, flowers, mostly everything you need. Beautiful store. Friendly staff.$$$

Ive been in the area for 3 months and I just now realized there is a fresh market supermarket here. With the traffic being horrible to get in and out of Whole foods Im glad the Fresh Market is closer to me and will not have to endure the hassle of going to whole foods. The way this store is set up place the products in good lighting unlike most grocery stores. This Plaza also has plenty of parking and its easy to access it form north bound or south bound I-77. Im so happy this store is here.

Me and my family like to go to this location, but from now on I dont think were going back.I went to buy some stuff and decided to get 3 little desserts, I saw the box and it said $4.99 and decided to buy them individually, after I payed (I bought more stuff) I realized that they were charging me $7.50 for the 3 pieces (2.50 each plus tax) giving a total of $8.12, so I go back and explain the situation to the cashier, she didnt know what to do and just gave me the option to change for the ones in the box when I told her I was happy with what I got I just wanted to fix the price she told me there was nothing to do and she called her manager, from the minute she got there she couldnt care less and in a very rude way told me that it was that way, that is more expensive to buy them like that when it was EXACTLY THE SAME SIZE AND FALVOR as the ones in the box, she later tried to give an explanation of how prices have gone up and that she wasnt gonna do anything about it when it doesnt make sense cause again, THEY WERE EXACTLY THE SAME. I wasnt asking for anything for free, i was asking for something that could make sense, never at any other grocery store someone has told me something so senseless and rude. You need to hire more professional staff.Not buying at your location anymore

Poor customer service and very deceiving prices. I have been over charged multiple times at this place. Most recent being today. I realized when I got home I was charged $30.00 for 7 cookies that were clearly individually priced 3 For 99 cents. When I called the store to let them know they agreed the cookies were labeled as that but argued that they were really $3.99. She only offered for me to come back and return them but wouldnt honor the price on the cookies. Then she just hung up on me!

The Butcher shops in Fresh Market are the Best when it comes to Steaks and Chicken, I live in Forest, Virginia and shop at the one here. Our youngest Son lives in Huntersville and during a recent visit on 4/10 we went to Fresh Market in Cornelius and bought the USDA Filet Mignon steaks which are 30$ a lb. we buy them because they are the Best, but the ones that we were given had gristle so that we could not even chew it all. I have sent in reviews when the Steaks melt in your mouth, which they usually do, but this time I was very disappointed. I would hope this is something that does not happen often.

Outstanding in every aspect.... extremely clean.... top notch selections butcher, fabulous seafood department, outstanding bakery....amazing breads and bakery good ...fresh sushi and the selections were enormous throughout.

Im a new customer....so this is a first impression. Every thing top quality....no sorting for the right item. The exception was strawberries and blueberries... still have to study every package. Great choices on small producers and specialty products, particularly organic. Meats were incredible. Wine choices were small and pricey... Im probably not their target audience for wines.

I stopped in for my first time today and was very impressed. The produce looks amazing but what really caught my eye were the fully prepared meals and salads. I bought a poke dish and it was delish! I cant wait to go back and stock up on easy to prepare meals for my family.

So one person working the huge combination seafood and meat counter on Christmas Eve. People backed up, inequitable service . Literally walked out after standing at the counter for close to 15 minutes.I go up the street to Publix where they are super staffed, managers hustling with the other folks working counters, and best of all great selection and cheaper than fresh market.These folks at Fresh Market are going to lose the grocery wars quickly with management practices exhibited today. Not fair to their own employees or the customers. No need to go pay their high prices with their lack of service

Really enjoy the Fresh Market especially when prepping for a gourmet meal or party. Great butcher (the mild Italian sausage is delicious) selection and always something worthwhile on sale. Nice olive bar, cheese and craft beer selection. Smaller and more convenient alternative to Whole Foods at about the same price point.

I like fresh market quite a bit, its a shake they closed the one near me (the old mallard creek one) this is now the nearest one to me, but its still a great fresh market. My favourite reason to go was always their prepared foods right across from the produce and butcher areas, toward the center of the store.

Ive never been in a fresh market before but was expecting a lot more then I got the first time around. Extremely small aisles limited selections and people in the deli that whooped and hollared and others were making meaty boiling southern food cauldrons with no gloves on. Not my idea of appetizing.No good produce.They did have some unique items but not enough and not good enough prices. They had some creme fresh and devonshire cream I couldnt find anywhere else and a good sale price on to go bottles of japanese green tea. Also when their tofurkey sausages go on sale they are the best price in town.This is not a high end nor is it a gourmet store its closer to a grocery outlet without the great prices and selection. I am not impressed at allOne cashier was nice but when I had to return something the supervisor was like well what does she want?Thats not good .

FM is a grocery store I really enjoy shopping at. I’ve gotten to know their breads, meat department, cheeses and bakery items very well. Occasional stops in the deli area never disappoint. Wine selection is good for single purchases, I’d like to see more weekly specials similar to meat department promotions encouraging volume purchases. Employees are always pleasant & helpful.

I like this Fresh Market location. The chicken salad is absolutely delicious, and the French butter croissants is the best with chicken salad. The spinach and bacon salad is pretty good also. You cant go wrong with any Fresh Market. Its one of my favorite places to shop for fresh, delicious, and healthy foods.

Ah, the Fresh Market! For me, it is the most enjoyable place for grocery shopping. Yes, the prices are a tad higher. Its a far better store than the one affectionately called whole paycheck. I particularly like the cheeses, breads, prepared foods, nut/chocolate bars, and desserts. My wife often tells me not to spend too much time when I stop. Its just a swell place.

Fresh Market was my favorite store for meat in Florida. After moving to NC, this place does not stand up. My husband and I have bought multiple produce and meat that are unfresh and the meat that literally tastes so off we can’t eat it. I’m not sure if their fridge isn’t kept cold enough or what is happening but I’m so disappointed to ha e to leave this review to warn others about their sub par meat.

Probably one of the worst managed grocery stores near Charlotte. Had to wait over 30 mins for a simple return only for the junior manager to roll his eyes and make rude comments under his breathe. Never shopping here again.

Many many choices of vegetarian and vegan foods, relaxing atmosphere, quick and helpful staff, well-lit but not overly lit, clean and well-organized. Over all it was a very positive shopping experience.

Moved up from Florida and Fresh Markets is where I would go for really fresh meats and produce and every time I go here I try it again the meat tastes off and the produce is never fresh.

False advertisements. Bad customer service. I bought 4 packs of premium choice steak and grilled one pack, super chewy. Brought the 3 untouched packs back for return and somehow they refunded me for 2 packs. Very close to my home but I will never come back.

9/2021 Update: again and again I get burned here by higher prices on my receipt than posted. Do not trust prices to be rung up correctly.Never trust sale prices. The cash register rings items up without posted discounts and sales. I do love the sweet Italian sausage.

Very good selection of premium products but can get pricey. Sale prices are good. Outstanding bakery. There are things you cant get anywhere else, and that keeps me going back.

I come from a small town when nothing like this exists. Cannot believe the incredible selection, and the most personable helpful staff. Awestruck, and very very happy!

I have always been an avid fan of The Fresh Market since I moved to Charlotte in 1982. Was very excited when Lake Norman store opened. Never any problems until recently. Bought a whole cheesecake and had to return it as it was very dry. I have always bought my shredded parmesan cheese there but last time it had mold in container in my refrigerator the day before sell by date. Tonight I bought California rolls which should be a finger food not falling apart to eat with a fork. This is not quality I am used to at this store. I pay the price and expect the best.

I love shopping here. The manager of the deli, I believe his name is Greg, is always happy to answer all of my questions. He always goes out of his way to make my experience more pleasant. I tell all my northern friends down here to shop there! The Gabagool is always fresh and tasty.

Stopped by Fresh Market around 5:30 to pick up a healthy dinner salad before a meeting and was very disappointed with the choices and the quality of the product. I am a vegetarian, and look for salads that are fresh and nutritious, with a variety of toppings, but NOT covered in cheese! Every pre-made salad at the deli was overloaded with cheese or covered over with too much bacon, nuts, dry fruits and not enough greens to be of healthy proportion. The Summer garden salad was the least offensive (it had chunks of mozzarella), but was about half the size of the other salads for the same price and had very little in the way of veggie toppings--basically a handful of greens, cheese, and a few tomatoes for $8. After asking the Deli person if there were other options available (no) I finally bought the Greek salad thinking I could pick around the Feta. I left the store and had to eat in the car before my meeting--I discovered that all of that cheese was covering up the soggy, brown, slimy romaine! There was more than a cup of Feta cheese left in the bottom of the bowl, the mushrooms were also not fresh, bordering on slimy. Perhaps Fresh Market should ask a nutritionist, or a chef for some guidance about healthier, plant based meal and salad options.

I like Fresh Market. Their produce is fresh. Store is clean but a little too crowded. I would like to see the staff be more helpful about products. I tried to pre-order for Thanksgiving and now for Christmas and both times I was told they didnt know where the forms were.

Nice store but the staff is so slow every time I come in. The young man in the deli with the long hair always seems like he is on another planet! Very polite, helpful and respectful though.

Inside aisle male staff was unfriendly and unprofessional when my 85 year old mother asked him where the cream and sugar was for her cup of decaf coffee ...he just pointed to the area.. didnt say a word and walked away...7.21.18. Approx time 1830. Most people were unfriendly and in some kind of hurry to go nowhere.. most of the Fresh Market natural wheat entertainer crackers were past their expiration date..no one asked if we found what we needed or can I help you...we will not return to this location..FYI.. most crackers were over a month old.

So I typically work late on tuesdays and decide to go in here for their special chicken price, and their out, so I proceed to ask for a rain check and apparently they dont give rain checks on sale items. From my understanding isnt that the point of a raincheck?? Really pissed me off that I went out of my way, this store needs better customer service, its not like they have any other good deals, this is the one good deal they have, how about order more? Nothing else is selling because its overpriced and wedge cut!
