The doctor is very nice and friendly, however the front desk lady is quite the opposite. She has been less than pleasant and always has a condescending tone every time Ive dealt with her. I needed new lenses for my Ray Ban glasses and the lenses they tried to sell me cost more than brand new Ray Ban lenses. I opted to just send my glasses off to get real Ray Ban lenses for a lower cost than the made in house lenses there. I also need new contact lenses and they quoted me $78 per box from their office but 1800 contacts has the exact same contacts for much less. The eye exam itself was also MUCH more than I have ever paid before.

Just got out an the experience was fantastic. All the assistants were very professional including Alfred who found my new frames. Wouldnt go anywhere else!

Thank Yall so much for be amazing. My husband gave me a scare one day and he needed to see someone fast. I called and they got us right in. Everyone was very kind and the Doctor was very knowledgeable and made sure everything was ok with his eyes. Thank yall again so much.

Took my mother here for eye exam and evaluation for glasses. She is 74 years old and is filled with many questions. Dr. Lafone was so patient with my mom and answered all of her thousand questions. He is not only an outstanding physician but is also an excellent teacher. I have seen him myself as a patient and was equally impressed. Using models and the computer he was able to explain everything to her. We were the last patient of the day and never felt rushed. The staff is beyond amazing and caring and they took time, staying late, with my mom to make sure she picked out the glasses that she loved. They have state of the art equipment and testing and have a great selection of glasses on site. I highly recommend!!

Dr. Lafone was very detailed in my annual exam and most importantly on time for my appointment. His front desk staff are always nice when I have questions regarding contact orders. In addition, he is personable and always friendly when I come into the office. Thank you for the great care.

If you are contemplating going here, dont waste your time. The staff is extremely rude & the most selfish people Ive ever met. Long story short, my Grandpa was a VERY loyal customer of this facility. He spent a lot of time here & knew the entire staff closely. He recently passed & we had to go pick up the refund for the prescription that he had recently purchased. They offered absolutely NO condolences, no kind words & made the process beyond complicated & messy. For a small town with little options for eye care, they should change their attitudes, treat their customers with respect & be a little more compassionate with people that are going thru loss.

From the front of the office to the back of the office this eye care business and their staff are amazing. My husband and I purchased both our glasses the same day and they have been great with any adjustments we have needed. They never try to sale you more than you need and are so very helpful. I highly recommend

I called as an emergency and the staff places my call with a technician She gave me 10 min to get there or they could not see me A they closed at 12 it was 1012. They must have more business than they need. I will never seek their services ! Another place in town actually works all day on fridays ...who knew I will be going there .....

Most accurate prescription Ive ever received! They were patient with me as I tried a few brands of contacts to see which was the best fit. They also helped me find glasses - which were fitted to perfection. Highly recommend Carolina Eye Care.

It is taking me forever to get a good pair of glasses,I wish they could be a little quicker about getting things done!!!!!!the Dr. Is good they need to get more people working in there if they cant do the job they are trying to do!

The doctor is wonderful, but the experience with the sunglasses has been terrible. I ordered a pair of Costas last year, and it took a month or longer to get them because of the lenses not passing inspection. This year I had the lenses replaced and 6 weeks later I finally got them back. I called twice almost every week to check the status and was told the lenses werent created correctly (they inverted the lenses?), and then the mirror tint was wrong, or was told that. I finally called on the 19th of August and was told that I received a call on the 6th that the glasses would be in on the 7th. I called at least 4 times after the 6th and was told the lenses were still at the lab and that they would be here in a few days (keep in mind that was two weeks). The process took far too long.
