This Home Depot is decent and I have had mixed experiences with the staff. When I first moved here I couldnt find a single person to help me spend 2500 dollars on a set of kitchen appliances. Shocking I know and Im sure management would be appalled I left and spent it at Lowes. Since that incident I have actually had some good experiences at this store now. If you need help go to the back where the blinds are and there is an older gentleman sitting at a desk that is the most helpful and friendly staff member I have ever encountered at any Home Depot. He basically made me forget that terrible first experience, so find him you need help!

Horrible went to purchase a power Inverter 2 home depots did not one high power one at all this country is being ruined by the Democrats

FYI - I’m a cab driver. I dropped someone off at 560 Mill road Coram. There are over 20 of your shopping carts in their yard.

The guy back in gutter products was very helpful.At the self serve cashier, the gentleman looked to be a retired military, who has no clue how the state requires proof of Honorable Discharge status before they indicate on a Drivers license, a persons veteran status. Therefore he doesnt understand the term Honorably Discharged

Love home depot at Coram. They are very nice always understands what are you looking for.

Good experience in store. Employees are helpful and friendly. Just one change since COVID-19 is that you now need your receipt to return items for refund/store credit where previously it wasnt necessary.

Great as always for my do-it-yourself and hardware supplies.

Customer service has been nose diving for a decade. Never have educated floor workers. Isles always full of over stock while shelves are empty. They stock too many options of brands which has lead to a reduction of miscellaneous items that are used in the handyman profession. They killed off all the local supply houses and small hardware stores to then become the walmart of construction. Over priced for cheap products and wondering staff whos 9nly goals are to get through the day talking to as few customers as they can. Its sad this place is basically the only option.

Home depot is a scumbag company that has a horrible credit department that cant keep anything straight and are always screwing up. They also repackage broken or damaged goods and materials to sell as new on a regular basis

Prompt, courteous and professional service at Returns, Regular purchase at cash register and at Tool Rental. The Tool Rental staff really seem to be knowledgeable about the equipment.

A fully stocked Home Depot. Self-explanatory probably. They have plants, plumbing, lumber, paint.

One of the better Home Depots. I always come back....because i usually need one more item for a home project.

Just wanted to take the time to recognize (Michael N) from the Lumber department. I came in today 2/23/2021 as a new homeowner looking to start a new project, asking Michael for help where he took us to every department relating to our project, sharing many insights on what is needed. A customer experience like this is rare to find where Michael went above and beyond for the customer. Employees like Michael is what retail these days need where customers would want to come back. Friendly professional outstanding customer service and care. great experience as I walked throughout the store and asked questions and at the point of checkout shealyn and Zach, help me to make a decision on portable heater I brought three up to the register, they had a great sense of humor and shared their own experience and it was able to determine immediately which was the one to purchase. I left very happy and pleased with their help and their genuine customer care and service.

Manager should be fired .this store its a mess. And hazardous .Items on top instead of empty shelf where it suppose to be ,to have acces for clients.you have to wait for someone to take down which takes forever even on a slow day . Bad management cause this .i rather shop with lowes much cleaner and not a mess.

Well stocked, clean, but grossly understaffed. Its very hard to get assistance. Some depts are worse than others. For instance, theres always help in the paint department. But, if you go for a screw, forget it!!!

Disappointed.Didnt have the zero water filter I needed.The flowers were over priced and not in great shape. At the end of the season, prices should be slashed.

Had a small problem at the store, spoke to the Store Manager Howard. He solved the problem gave great customer service!

While I prefer to go to the Home Depot in Selden, because they dont have an issue with homeless people in the area, once inside the store its clean and the staff is nice.

John at customer service is an extremely nice guy. He tried to find someone qualified to take 6 t post for a fence off of a shelf. He walked over to Lumber and found Ryan the forklift operator who took off his mask and said he was too busy doing sheetrock despite not even being on the forklift. Im now going to Lowes

Not to happy about this place the Lumber was all mixed up, some did not a price tag on itAnd the is never anyone there to help you, I had some one paged to the area whare I was and no one showed up

Service at the appliance section was excellent

They have everything, plus an experienced knowledgeable staff that can assist with any home repair. Also they have a very decent Dewalt tools selection within their tool corale. This store/home improvement/home repair center is a lifesaver. Finally, they are a great source for any Boy Scout merit badge project, or Eagle Scout project. In short, this is exactly the type of establishment that supports a communitys needs and still meets you with a smile 😃 .Excellent Customer service and a definite asset for a homeowner.

Great place to get the tools and hardware you will need for your renovations and decor for your home. Its hard to get someone who actually knows their department items...but someone will eventually know their stuff.

Always has the products and tools we need. Just have to get the 4in SDR-35 PVC pipe (green color) which you guys dont usually carry but lowes does. We like to give home depot our business as well as I know my brothers give you guys basically all their business as well for their different construction and water cleanup businesses.

Home Depot is always got a lot of stuff but when you return it its like Fort Knox

Lately, everytime I go in, there are empty shelves even tho the product is in stock. The only ones that seem to know where things are or willing to help get product, are the people in orange shirts.

Really liked the curbside pick up during the pandemic made things easy and safe. They got rid of it recently. Luckily a great employee brought my order outside Tony. Otherwise this would of been a 1 star review. The pandemic isnt over and some people enjoy social distancing and curbside pick up. I understand its harder for employees and the staff but it goes a long way with some of your customers. Ill avoid this store for remainder of 2020 unless they offer curbside again.

Customer service not the best. It’s nearly impossible to find an associate for help and when I do find an associate and ask for help about the item, it’s mostly “I’m not sure”.I recommend downloading the app and finding the item yourself without bothering an associate.

Great place this is the place I love to go to I buy my chicken food here everything here for them I also bought them here love them alot.

A small group of us signed up for a Tile Back Splash class. When we got there, at first, we were unable to locate it. Every single employee who we asked went above and beyond to find out the information for us. Finally, turns out, the person running the class was not there. So, George Sheehan, the manager, set up the class and ran it. It was a wonderful hands on experience. He was incredibly friendly and helpful and really tailored the class to what we wanted. He went as far as offering his assistance anytime we needed it. Truly great experience.

Rude employees. We are from out of state and forgot our mask and they had an attitude when we explained where we are from. Saying You can wear a mask or you dont have to shop here. No need to be so rude in their response

Got my recipt checked 10 times and and to argue about the fact I paid for items because employee couldnt read recipt right. Wont ever shop here again f this place sick of being stared down like im doing something I shouldnt be. Dont shop here you will be there an extra 45 min going over your recipt.

Quick and easy. Good location. But personally I like my loc hardware store. But homedepot is good in a pinch.

I always order online and have things picked up. Orders are always correct and filled long before my friend leaves to pick them up.

Even though not fully stocked in plexiglass sheets the day I visited, I was able to find something that worked for a very specific need. Also got some quality garden hose accessories, organic fertilizer, and good advice. Sometimes a little patience helps get that last item :)

The Home Depot located at Coram, NY is one the best store Ive been to..everytime i go there to purchase an item I was looking for my house or for my job..its usually on stock, the staff are friendly and very helpful

Layout was a little confusing but once I figured it out was easy to navigate.

I need a key made. I waited for 5-10 mins for someone who made my new keys. It was not bad.

Amazing crew, always willing to help and answer questions. The place is normally not as busy as others… but… wish they do something with the surrounding parking lot area as there are lots of folks, which all appear to be homeless, and at times does not look very safe. I wished they do some sprucing to the parking lot area to make it more appealing to the surrounding Neighborhoods.Staff and general store get 5 stars… Parking lot and surrounding store area needs work…. 3 stars. (4 Stars overall)

We had the worst experience in their carpet/flooring department. We picked a color & style carpet for a standard size bedroom and it took about 5 days to get someone to come over and measure the room. After it was measured, we paid by credit card immediately and was told we would receive a phone call within 24 hours to schedule an installation. We never received a call. 3 days later we called them and they said that our payment never went through to check back the next day. We called back the next day and they said the same thing. Long story short, after 1.5 weeks of this game, and confirmation from our bank that the payment went through, they still continued to say we never paid therefore they can’t order our carpet. Finally after physically going down to the store and showing them our bank statement, an hour later they figured it out & told us it would take 2 weeks for the carpet to come in the warehouse and up to 2 weeks to obtain an installation date. Almost 6 weeks for the entire process. We cancelled our order and went to Carpet Depot where we chose our carpet, paid for it and it’s being delivered & installed tomorrow. 24 hours with carpet depot vs 6 weeks with Home Depot who also lost our payment and had rude customer service.

Bought a box fan easy right. The boxes were dented so opened the corner fan was good go home take it out it was used grime on the fan blades mmmm go back, the return women was very good masks and all she could tell I was angry got another fan get home the legs are missing uuuug and the gaint warning stickers are stuck on the metal sides. Never coming off so home depot u win I will settle for this one To afraid of what will be wrong with the next one

This is a standard Home Depot Store. As usual it is well organized and Usually it is easy to find things, especially with the Home Depot app. Some items that show in stock on the app may be hard to find if it says “ask for help from store employee”. As is usual for a big box hardware store, knowledgeable employees are in short supply. They all are courteous and as helpful as they can be.

Great customer service and finally employees that seem happy and care about their job. Best part was no one had a cell phone in their hand.
