We had an incredible experience at Johnson Fitness & Wellness in Coralville! We were buying a treadmill and Mark spent extra time to answer every question, show us features, and show us how to use it and perform up keep. We so appreciated his kindness, friendliness, and vast knowledge of all products. We couldnt recommend this store more! We also had the treadmill delivered and assembled by them and the staff was quick, kind, and knowledgeable as well. Dennis was especially kind and showed me how to use the treadmill after set up.We purchased the Horizon 7.0 AT and Ive already heavily used it in the past week or so and its been GREAT! Highly recommend this store for both great products and high quality customer service. Big thank you to the Johnson team for a great experience!

I had a great customer service experience with Johnson Fitness shopping for a bike. I went in specifically thinking a certain model I saw online was what I would try and buy but the guys patiently questioned me and had me try an upright bike instead. They are knowledgeable and helped guide me to the right one for me, even though it took two trips and more patience to make the final buying decision. The bike was delivered last week and Im super happy with it. Matrix is the kind of quality that makes it worth spending the $ on because you know its going to last, backed up by a great warranty.

I had a great experience at the Coralville Johnson Fitness & Wellness Store. During these difficult times, Mark was sensitive to keeping distance and wearing a mask. (I did too). But most importantly, I went in thinking I wanted one thing, but Mark helped me see what would be far better suited for my needs and especially my safety. He helped me try some things out and there was no pressure to buy a certain machine. Im so excited to get my upright bike! It will take a little while for it to come, but in the meantime I can clear a space for it in our home. Im an overweight senior, post double hip replacement, knees not the most terrific, needing to move safely and comfortably so that I can gain and maintain fitness over the long run. Mark was sensitive to that and guided me so very well. Enough so that when I was interested in a piece of strength training equipment, I emailed back and forth with him--he was terrific--and he answered all of my questions and then some. I was back today to get that floor model (lucky me! ) I highly recommend this store and Mark in particular. Thanks so much!

We just purchased a treadmill for Johnson Fitness & Wellness. We absolutely love the product and the service far exceeded our expectations. These guys are absolutely fantastic, incredibly knowledgeable and committed to customer service. My wife and I were in the market for some new fitness equipment and made the tragic mistake of going with Peloton after some preliminary research. After placing the order they proceeded to no call/ no show on guaranteed delivery dates six times costing me a lot of wasted time and money! Their customer service was so horrible and rude that we cancelled our order and on the same day I went down to Johnson Fitness and was treated like a valued customer. I made a purchase immediately and couldnt be happier. Mark Dean was great and made the process a wonderful experience overall. We have been using our new Matrix equipment for almost a week now and I am STILL waiting for a basic refund for undelivered equipment from Peloton. You cant go wrong with the guys over at Johnson Fitness they are top notch. If I could give them six stars I would... but I am limited to five.

The machine itself is great. However when we received the boxes with our rower there was no guide to put together no manual to explain how the monitor works. I called the store and the advice I received was to just go on line. I would rather have a manual so I can read it and not have to print it off. Like I said the machine is great, give a good workout, just a couple of things that seemed to me should have been included or at least provided after they knew it was not received.

Mark was very knowledgeable and helped us w our treadmill purchase. We wanted a machine that was more durable and sturdy than what the standard sports stores carry. I loved that they had a tv area for my kids to stay occupied while we tried the machines. Delivery is also much faster than anticipated despite COVID. I love having a local company that can help if there are any issues instead of a 1-800 number.

I don’t have a lot of experience with fitness stores but these guys have a pretty good selection of a good range of things. The store manager will spend a fair amount of energy educating you on what they offer and the features. They contract out their service with a company that we have had experience with that, while expensive, is good. I would buy from there again.

Straight forward purchase. I bought a rowing machine and elliptical. Mark walked us through all of our questions and what we wanted to buy, we bought. No real pressure.They remembered us by name and what we bought. They kept us informed about when the ordered equipment would arrive. It arrived on time. I was only able to pick one up and come back the next day to pick up the other. It was no issue for them at all.Equipment is high quality. Very solid.

I had a GREAT experience with Mark and Matt. Mark went out of his way to let me try things, let me explore and think and ultimately gave me an amazing deal on an excellent machine! When you are there, be certain to ask to sit in one of the massage chairs, they are awesome. I highly recommend these guys!

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. We learned some things we didnt know about exercise bikes and then bought the one we felt fit our needs. We are very happy with the bike and we are using it often!

I interacted with two employees over the course of 3 visits. Both were incredibly friendly and answered all of the questions I had. I was very pleased with my experience and would purchase equipment from them again in the future.

We have gotten a cable machine (mi6) new, rower new, and a used treadmill there. Great staff, low pressure environment, and great equipment. Most of their stuff is new despite the name of the store. Our rower broke within the first month and they happily took it back and gave a full cash refund. They are cheaper than amazon for a lot of stuff also.

We had been thinking about getting a treadmill, so we went in to check out what they had and we walked around for a minute and Matt came up and asked if we had any questions. He was very knowledgeable and gave us great info on a variety of the equipment we did purchase a treadmill which we are both happy about and without Matt we probably would have purchased something we would have regretted.

I couldnt be happier with the customer service I received from Matt! I know I wasnt the easiest customer to please and there were a few issues. Matt was very professional throughout and made sure I was satisfied with my purchase.

They had exactly what I wanted, but or was missing a part. Part arrived exactly when promised. Store manager was super knowledgeable and helpful. His assistant, not so much when on his own on the weekend. But I couldnt be happier with my experience
