Brides by Jessa is truly such a gem of a business here in Eastern Iowa! The store is beautiful, the employees are patient and so accommodating. I bought my dress for my September wedding off the rack from them in late January which was so helpful because I had surgery early Feb and wasn’t able to walk for 3 months. They fit me in, made me feel comfortable and I walked out with my dream dress that day. Thank you so much!!

Great selection of unique and beautiful dresses!I picked my dress about 1 year ago, Aimee was wonderful and super helpful when I described the style I was going for. She was patient and considerate when I picked out 10 different dresses to try on! Brides by Jessa helped me find the wedding dress of my DREAMS! Aimee was really good about listening to my style and helping find a dress that fit my body type and beach wedding-theme perfectly. While I didnt find my dress here, I want to say the service was TOP NOTCH! I booked a private session that offered snacks and mimosas. They even played my favorite Spotify station! I did buy by veil here, which I love to this day! They offered to steam it the day before our wedding and shine our wedding rings!

I dont usually do reviews but I felt compelled to post this stating what a great experience I had! I brought my mom and sister in with me for just a regular appointment and Aimee did such an amazing job! She was very welcoming and personable, sitting down with us and listening to me describe my overall vision for my dress and wedding style. She patiently answered all my moms and my million questions, graciously letting us stay much longer than the usual appointment time. After trying on 7 dresses I finally found the perfect one for me that fit my personality and felt right.This was the first stop I made for wedding dress shopping and Im happy to say it was the last and only one! Definitely consider Brides by Jessa if you want an intimate, relaxing, and personable experience!

The service was excellent. It was such a laid back environment, perfect for my first time dress shopping. I was not pushed to make any decisions and the consultant worked so well with me to work on finding the styles of dresses I was the most comfortable with and felt the most beautiful in. This was the best way to begin my journey for the perfect dress, I definitely plan on coming back!

I absolutely LOVE Brides by Jessa! We had such a wonderful experience. My daughter found the most beautiful dress that was just perfect for her. The staff treated us so well and their personalized touches made it unique to my daughter - we were so impressed! The treats provided were also unique to her and were delicious! I have been helping another bride shop both times Ive been to Brides by Jessa. I had an AMAZING experience both times. They provided snacks and drinks, had a comfortable place for us to sit, and let the bride try on as many dresses as she wanted. I found myself wishing I had gone there to find my own wedding dress. I had the pleasure of joining my daughter-in-law and her friends and family, on a wedding-dress shopping weekend. We visited a couple stores, but one stood above the rest, Brides by Jessica. Miriam and her staff could not have been nicer, making everyone feel comfortable and included. Their attention to detail was amazing. And the dresses were gorgeous!!! They had so many styles to choose from, all beautiful. We had fun watching my daughter-in-law model her favorites. She found the dress of her dreams, and didnt have to blow her wedding budget, a nice surprise. The day was fun, touching and very special. I went to Brides by Jessa for my first bridal appointment ever today, and had the most lovely experience. I worked with Amy, and she was so relaxed and just had a great rapport with me. They have a beautifully curated selection of gowns. And while I didn’t find my dress today, I didn’t feel pressured in the slightest to buy a dress at all. If I found the right dress, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from here. You can tell they really care about each bride and her specific wants and needs.

I just bought my dress here today and I can’t speak highly enough of the delightful service I received. Celine was so incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. She even drove my dress down the street to my hotel so I didn’t have to walk it back in the snow! The boutique is clean, well organized, and has plenty of selection at very reasonable prices. My friend who was shopping with me even tried on a dress just for fun. We had an absolutely fabulous time here and I am so excited that I was able to stop in on my way through town. I can’t wait to wear this dress on my wedding day!

If I had like a week to think up and imagine the most perfect wedding dress shopping experience, I would never be able to come up with a scenario that would match the perfection that I experienced at my appointment today. I booked a premiere bridal appointment and let me tell you, it was the best money Ive spent so far for my upcoming wedding. I am absolutely FLOORED at the amount of time and effort they put into this appointment to make it special for my friends and family. First of all, they opened early for us when I told them my family was driving in from Des Moines and I had procrastinated on getting something scheduled so Miriam absolutely saved the day on that and I appreciate it so much!! They began asking about my favorite color, music, snacks, etc. They even knew how much I loved Disney so they put little touches throughout the appointment that reflected that such as a little sign by the forks that said dinglehoppers and a sign when we walked in that said Be Our Guest, Welcome Zoey! They provided mimosas, a charcuterie board, hummus, cupcakes (which we got to keep the leftovers) and fuzzy, comfy socks (which we also got to take home with us) Aimee helped me find my dream dress and she was PHENOMENAL. Seriously. I cannot sing her praises enough!! She was so sweet and helpful, she went above and beyond in every way and took a real interest in my fiance and I! And lo and behold - she helped me find my dream dress!!!!! I saved the best part for last, THEY MADE A FREAKING VIDEO OF MY APPOINTMENT. They sneakily took every member of my party away one by one while I was changing dresses to record them talking about how excited they are for the big day, how much they love me, etc. I was SO surprised when we were winding down my appointment and they turned on the TV and I saw it!! And it was so well put together! They included snippets from me trying on dresses, as well as the interviews from my family and friends, and they even put beautiful music behind it!! Everyone in my party was bawling!!! I cannot even begin to express how highly I recommend Brides by Jessa. The whole team is incredible and I wish I could get married 1000 times so I could experience that again. Thank you, thank you, thank you Miriam, Aimee, and William!!!!

My experience at Brides by Jessa was more than I could have asked for. I booked an appointment with them wanting a more intimate dress shopping experience, and I was not disappointed! I loved how private it felt compared to other stores; this made it a more comfortable and intimate setting for my friends and family. Clara was awesome and really took the initiative to get to know us and what I was looking for, while giving me feedback when I really needed it.

I had a great time here shopping with my sister for her wedding dress. The store is clean and they have beautiful dresses in many different styles. There were two girls there helping us, both named Amy, and they were both so friendly and helpful! This was the first place my sister went to shop for wedding dresses, and they both worked hard to help her find what style she liked. They also were able to suggest dresses based on what she liked and didnt like, and alterations that could be done to the dresses. We never felt rushed and they didnt try to push her into buying a dress that day. Wonderful experience!

Walked in by chance and found the perfect dress! The team was so helpful, made my sister and I feel totally comfortable and made this impromptu wedding dress stop amazing! So glad we came here and love my new wedding gown! Would recommend to anyone!

Miriam and Will were phenomenal with helping me narrow down the style of dress I wanted and selected beautiful dresses for me to try on. All the dresses were unique and gorgeous. They made my family feel very comfortable and were so friendly. I found a beautiful dress and veil and the prices were AMAZING.

Amy helped me at my first appointment. She was great! I had called ahead as I knew only 2 things that I wanted when it came to my wedding dress, I did not want a corset back and I did not want a white dress. When I called to ask about their color selection they told me at least half of their shop was filled with colored dresses. When I came in for my appointment I had only been to 1 bridal shop prior. Amy was friendly and greeted us right away. It was great that we were the only ones in the store for my appointment. They had so much to choose from! I was nervous when the first dress I got in was corset back, Amy told me right away that any dress they have with a corset back can be ordered with a zipper. A couple of dresses in and I found the one! I love its uniqueness and its color! I met Jessa when I came to pick up my dress from being ordered and she was so friendly and kind. I brought my dress and veil back to be steamed the week of the wedding and Jessa called me as they found an issue with my veil while steaming it. Jessa had multiple options for me and everything worked out even better than originally planned! I would recommend Jessas boutique to anyone looking for not only something different, something other than cookie cutter but for a great experience!

I had a great experience at Brides by Jessa back in December! Unfortunately I did not find my perfect dress, however, my stop here was the first time trying on bridal dresses. The setting is very comfortable, they have beautiful options, and the staff is wonderful. My attendant, Clara, made me feel very comfortable and was patient & attentive to what I was looking for in a dress. I would highly recommend checking out Brides by Jessa!

Jessa was fantastic. The dresses are amazing. The dress selection was wide and I did not have to worry about there being too much cleavage in her dresses they were stylish and covered the girls well. At other stores I always felt like my girls were ready to fall out of the dress.

Jessa is very personable and kind, even to first time shoppers like myself. Definitely makes you feel both welcome and beautiful! The only thing I would suggest is stating your budget early on. Her dresses are beautiful and mostly affordable but itll save you some grief if you know that that really lovely dress she pulled is in your budget

Jessa and her team help you find the right dress for you. Very personalized and affordable. You just dont get the same attention in the big stores as these little boutiques. You wont regret it!

My experience from start to finish was very impressive, even from when I booked the appointment online. My consultant, I believe her name was Claire, was amazing! She kept the appointment moving and kept it about “you”. The store is clean and very put together and I enjoyed how the gowns were easy to view. I recommend Brides by Jessa to everyone!

I visited Brides by Jessa to find a formal dress for a special event. The staff was busy with bridal appointments yet was extremely accommodating and helped me try find styles that were most appropriate for my event. It was such a nice departure from shopping in the stores I normally frequent where you have to practically beg for help! Although I dont foresee myself needing another wedding dress - I recommend Brides by Jessa to everyone I meet who is getting married!

Brides by Jessa was the first place I went to look for a wedding dress, and Im so glad I started out here. The consultant I worked with, Amy, was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Although their selection is smaller, they have a great variety. I was able to try on multiple dresses in the style I was looking for and found an incredible dress for my wedding. :) I had a fantastic experience!

The consultants were extremely helpful and nice. They make you feel like a beauty queen! The only complaint is that it is a more expensive store. There were only about 5 dresses under/ near $1000. But in July they have an amazing sale where all sample dresses are 50% off!

I shopped my wedding grown here. Jesss is very nice to work with. They have an elegant collection of dresses with good quality, and the price are cheaper than the famous brands, as they are produced by local designers.

I have bought three prom dresses from Brides by Jessa and I absolutely loved my experiences there! Jessica is incredibly helpful and allowed me to try on dresses with or without an appointment. I would definitely recommend Brides by Jessa if you are looking for wedding, prom, or homecoming dress attire!

I stopped by Brides By Jessa yesterday (on their grand opening nonetheless!) and I must say, they had a nice selection of wedding dresses in multiple styles from multiple designers. Jessa took a lot of time to help me fit them on and get my measurements, and allowed me to also try on jewelry, shoes, and veils all at the same time! Her assistant was wonderful too. Since Im on the smaller side, she was even kind enough to email a designer of the dress I liked most to see if there were any petite sizes! Bridesmaid dresses were also available (though I didnt dive into that at all).Overall, my experience was wonderful here. If youre looking for bridal shops in the Iowa City/Coralville area, you should definitely stop by!
