Best donuts and kolaches in Copperas Cove. Never any problems, very reasonably priced, fresh, delicious. Reason not a five star... service isnt that friendly no matter how nice I try to be... any colder itd be a cold a shoulder. Anyways, Ill be back again... and again... and again... and again. Haha

LUHV this place! The products offered are much better than the other local donut shops & the proprietor is just terrific! Donuts, pastries, croissants--both sweet & savory-- and a variety of hot & tasty breakfast sandwiches (eggs, sausage, bacon & cheese) are available on biscuits, rolls or buns. She opens early (0500) so for the best selection, get there early.

Live 2 minutes away from this extra nice place for the area it is located and the early hours it is open. The people in thier enjoy having you as a customer, it may be quick service but it is great. They do not expect anything more than your business and i love that, i think that is called Living The American Dream

This a small donut shop but very clean and their donuts are delicious. They sandwiches that you will love and not find in other shops. I recommend you go and see for yourself.

I have never been there before and they just reopened with new owners. The owners are an older couple that seem like theyre not from here. They can speak English but are a little hard to understand sometimes. Anyways to the food. The donuts are great Ive been 2 times and the donuts are always fluffy and melt in your mouth. Their breakfast sandwiches are ok not bad but not amazing just something thats nice to eat. The place is small but most of their equipment is brand new and looks clean. They deserve more business those donuts are great!

I never write posts but the donuts from this place were horrible. Hard and not tasty. The woman working was nice but the donuts are just nasty. Left this place and went over to TOP Donuts and bought some donuts and they were much better. Fluffy and tasty

Great family donut shop. NOT A CHAIN. So, everybody should buy donuts here as often as you can. Or well have nothing but freezer burned corporate fried dough rings to choke down with our over-priced swill coffee.

This was my first time here today and the doughnut shop was clean and smelled so good. I purchased a cake doughnut and an old-fashioned glazed doughnut. Both tasted great. Friendly service at the front. Highly recommend! Yum!

They have one of a kind Donuts a total different taste but a very much better taste than any other.

Today was the first and last time I ever try this doughnut shop. A coworker brought in about 2 dozen doughnuts for everyone this morning. Most of the doughnuts were good, but Im not exaggerating when I say that, ALL the chocolate doughnuts tasted of acetone (fingernail polish remover). I dont know if someone just got their nails done and wasnt wearing gloves, or if something went wrong with the dough or frosting. But I was given a small piece from another coworker, just to see if they did taste funny. Let me tell you after two little bites it was as though my mouth were on fire. My bottom teeth and tip of my tongue started to tingle. Something went horribly wrong. The coworker who brought them in went back to the shop to complain, and the employee swore up and down that no one else had an issue this morning. However, Im sure other people probably couldnt have left work to address this issue. This is a serious health concern, and I hope that if other people had this issue they bring it to the shops attention.

USED to be the best place to get fresh donuts and kolaches. Most definitely will not be spending my money here since there is new management and new food. Dauvy was amazing running the place and had the best food but since she’s gone, this place is horrible. Very heartbreaking.

Great donuts but they sell out pretty quick

Love their croissant breakfast sandwiches; theyll warm anything if you ask them if youre not taking it straight home. Also am a BIG fan of their spinach pastry doo-hickey thingys.Go early for best selection, they often sell out of my favorites by 10 am.

Update: Change from 5 to 2 star. Went back last month and got 2 sprinkles and 2 cake donuts and a spinach kolache. The spinach kolache was amazing and kept the rating from being one star. The donuts on the other hand were disgusting. I took one bite of my cake donut and spit it out. It had the most awful chemical flavor. First time in my 36 years being alive Ive spit out a donut and refused to eat it. I even asked my husband to try making sure it wasnt just me. He spit it out too. Kids sprinkled didnt taste as bad, but still that weird taste. I called to let them know and staff proceeded to tell me that they tasted fine this morning. :( I didnt even want a refund or anything I just didnt want them to sell nasty donuts. Never going back again. Its a shame too we loved this place and that spinach kolache was so good.Best donuts weve had in the area. The blueberry donuts are so tasty. Friendly helpful staff too.

Donuts were very delicious just get there early because they sell out quick they are fresh.

I haven’t tried the sandwiches as they are pre-made and wrapped to just be heated up, but I love the doughnuts. Fresh every morning and so much better than Tops or Shipley’s. Nice quiet place that I’m glad to spend my money locally at. Will admit I wish they had a better beverage selection for a nice flavored iced coffee once in a while, but very friendly people with great doughnuts!!!

Went in today and placed a large order to take to my sons daycare and a couple for me and my older son. Used to come in all the time noticed a new face and talked with the owner who just took over late summer 2017. I also noticed the kolaches didnt look great but decided to go ahead since I had already placed the order an hour earlier. Got in my car handed my son his kolaches and took off. Didnt get 100 feet before he told me it tasted bad and looked at mine that I just took a BITE of and saw the MOLD ON THE BOTTOM OF IT!!!! I turned right around and took everything back and got a refund. I was nice but she looked to be in tears when I left. Went to Shipleys paid more and got some delicious food immediately that was worth it. IM GLAD I DIDNT TAKE THESE. They werent good even besides the mold. Dont go here, its not like it used to be!! You will be disappointed, kolaches dont mold overnight. I honestly cant believe this place has recent 5 stars. The way it is now cant touch Shipleys for sure, they are worth every penny more.

This place is the best....incredible food and the young couple who own the place are young black and really attractive its no wonder their son is so adorable. A definite must stop!!
